Chapter II | Plenitude Desire
CHAPTER II | Plenitude Desire
Levi neglects all havoc around him, the blazing fire crippling the houses. His steps become desperate in hopes to reach his weakness, Isabel Magnolia the optimistic red hair with extraordinary turquoise eyes and Farlan Church, the loyal pal with unique gray eyes and dark blond hair.
As soon as the three lay eye contact the fire diminishes and the air ceases leisurely until the feeling of water baptize Levi's body. The broken planks and worn out furnitures float without purpose and owner. Silence claims its rightful task within the depths of the sea.
Levi's once sanguinary blades are as pristine as the virgin waiting for her charming prince. His bloodstain green coat and raven hair are washed away from the gore, swaying elegantly to reveal his striking muscles and facial features capture the attention of Isabel, momentarily.
Levi catches sight of them and begins to swim anxiously towards his two beloved friends whose demise was caused by the hands of an abnormal long ago in their first expedition. A sincere smile cascades Farlan's attractive face meanwhile a fragile Isabel dares not send Levi Ackerman a second glance. She can't hide the empathy and sympathy she feels towards Humanity's Strongest Soldier, a man who despite the calamities has remained alive yet fatigued.
Farlan is the first to hold onto Levi's hand. Isabel's shoulders flinch from the other spirit's fascination towards the man the seven immortals claimed to be the one to be succumbed to war. The man who mankind had feared, loathed until accepting his all.
"Gella." The spirit passing as Farlan Church, calls to her telepathically. "Your hand." He stretches his hand to Isabel.
"Humanity still needs his strength." She curls into a fetus position. "He can't reunite with us just yet."
"Have you forgotten the Providence's calling?" Farlan yanks her to him meanwhile holding a confused Levi.
"Farlan?" Levi whispers, realizing he's able to breathe in the water. "Have I lost conscience?" Levi leisurely rests his palm onto his forehead.
"Gella." Farlan warns. "Time's running out."
"I'm aware." Isabel faces the golden clock within the deeps of the sea, the handle making its way into the number twelve.
"Hurry!" Farlan screams.
"Isabel?" A cold hand travels to her cheek and turns her to Levi. "It's really you." Levi glides near her under the water. "This is an illusion, right?" Levi tells himself, grabbing a gentle grip onto Isabel's red hair.
"You'll be punished, Gella." Farlan warns her one more time.
She lowers her eyelids for a second thinking about her own future. "I rather be punished than letting humans lose hope." She lays eyes with Levi. "Oh brother." She caresses his cheek. "You've suffered a great deal for a very long time. Just wait for a bit longer and your wish will be granted." She pecks his forehead. "I promise."
"What are you doing?" Farlan panics as the waters begin to disperse everywhere. The sound of the clock hits twelve and resonates the spirit's ears.
"Wait a bit longer, brother." She whispers in Levi's ears. She lays her side index finger on her thin lips, then places it on Levi's lips. His eyes gradually close to reunite with the gore and battle of the titan war.
Will the spirit be condemned?
