Jackie's POV,

I looked at Amaris.

"We are going to go back to the snowy part of the island. During the beast breathing I got a scent of her aura there." Amaris said.

I nodded as we went back to the snowy tip of the island. It was better as we kinda walked around on foot.

"Angel fly up and look for things like Caves, igloos. Or something that can hold in warmth." Amaris said as Angel nods and flies up and I see her fly off.

"Come on Let's go." I said quickly as we searched on foot. We continued to search as I looked around.

I saw Angel coming back. "I found a cave!" Angel said.

"Where?" I asked.

"It's near here. A mountain. It has tons of caves." She said.

"Let's go then." Amaris said.

We made our way to the caves, with a new found spirit to keep going I made my way over to the caves. It would've been faster if we flew there but I think Amaris got stubborn and wanted to walk to the cave. Angel was flying ahead of us making sure no danger was heading towards us.

We kept going until we got to the cave Angel spotted we went in and looked around as we looked inside the snow on the ground turned green from the grass. Inside this cave had green pants growing inside. The hit of warmth in the cave went through my body as I felt nice and toasty. But sometimes the cool draft would come in and make me feel cold again.

We looked around inside as I found runes of some sort of portal. It seemed to have been abandoned over time.

I looked at Amaris who just sighed and looked at the abandoned rune.

"What is it?" I asked.

"It's nothing..." Amaris said as she looked at the old writing on the rune.

I don't recognize the language so I just ignored it. Amaris just looked at us. "She was here."

Was....

"Yes." She said.

After about an hour of searching here we hadn't found Ghost. It was difficult.

We kept looking around until we went back then I found tracks leading back to the village. It's Ghost's foot prints.

"Ghost..."

We met up with the others as we went back to the village.

Third Person's View,

Rin and Yukio were talking to the rescue riders.

"So wait.... say it again you guys are twins but you guys are opposites?" Leyla asked.

"It's the same with you and Dak right?" Yukio said.

"Well yea... you can say that." Dak said.

"We are opposites because we aren't identical." Rin said before getting interrupted by someone who looks like Amaris.

"Hey can anyone point me where the Roost is?" They asked.

"Amaris you know where the Roost is." Dak said.

"It's the lighthouse." Leyla said.

"Oh yea.... sorry about that...." They said. "Thanks tho. Come on Stryke." She said as they all see a dragon that doesn't look like Angel.

"Hey wait.... you aren't Amaris are you." Leyla said.

The girl chuckled.

"No. I'm not Amaris. Good job. But when she returns tell her that someone is here to see her at the lighthouse." The girl said before getting onto the dragon and flying up to the Roost.

Next thing they knew they all see a white haired girl shivering walking into the village as the Okumura twins looked at her as Leyla and Dak looked at the girl.

"Is that...."

"Wait.... That Ghost?" Dak asked.

"Is she?.... Shivering?" Yukio said.

Rin seemed to panic and ran up to the girl and hugged her trying to get her warmed up.

"Y-You're Freezing Ghost...." He said before Dak, Leyla and Yukio came up to Ghost.

"I-I know.... I know..." She said before rubbing her arms. They're arms were covered in goosebumps.

Yukio looked at her before kneeling down touching her arms.

"Ghost.... You're freezing.... Like badly... how long were you in cold weather for?" Yukio asked.

The two twins seemed to know Ghost. When they see Amaris, Judith, Jackie, Cutter and Angel come Yukio looked at them.

"OKAY WHAT IS GOING ON HERE!?! WHY IS GHOST ICE COLD!?!" Rin yelled.

"R-Rin calm down...." Ghost said.

"You're freezing Ghost, I can't calm down."

Jackie sighed in relief when she heard Ghost was here but panicked at the words of Ghost was freezing cold.

"What happened?" Jackie asked.

"OH YOU DONT KNOW!?!" Rin yelled.

"Rin...." Ghost said in protest trying to calm him down.

"GHOST IS A DEMON SHE CAN'T BE IN COLD TEMPERATURES FOR VERY LONG!!" Rin shouted not listening to him.

"Rin!" Amaris said. "Impulses. Control yourself we don't want you bursting."

"How long was she not here for?" Yukio said. "Was she always been here?"

Amaris just looked at them before breathing out. "She was here since the virus happened..... earlier before you came she was bitten by a Walker and Jackie and Lucas Amputated her wing, This made the Rescue Riders panic and tried to be protective over her. She went somewhere a day ago and never came back which made Jackie worried and told me about it. Today we searched for her and when you two came." She said.

The Rescue Riders looked Shocked. How did Amaris Know that Ghost got bit. Jackie didn't tell them that Amaris knew from when they told them to keep it from her. So she looked worried and unfazed.

Lucas wasn't here as he was still in the hut recovering from the Concussion.

Rin looked at Dak and Leyla before Yukio glared at them.

"SHE WAS GONE OUT IN THE COLD FOR A DAY!" Rin said.

"More than a day... like a day and a half. On the northern part of the mountain." Ghost managed to say before he looked at Rin.

"You know that certain species of demons can't be in cold temperatures for very long. What were you thinking being in cold weather for over a day." Yukio said to Ghost.

"I wasn't..... I didn't mean to...." Ghost said.

Amaris spoke up. "It wasn't her fault. Ghost ran into something. They ran from it and took refuge in a snowy cold cave and stayed there when the thing leaves him alone."

Everyone expected for Rin, Yukio, Ghost and Angel looked at her confused. Did Amaris use 'him' in Ghost's pronouns? Amaris used 'They' too.

Judith looked at Amaris confused.

"Why did you use 'him' for Ghost?" Judith asked.

"Ghost uses She/They/He pronouns. She doesn't really mind it. He also doesn't mind he/Him or he/they pronouns sometimes. As long as we alternate between their pronouns she will be good with it." Amaris said.

"That still doesn't change the subject, why she was out there for over a day!" Rin said, he slightly calmed down as Amaris explained what happened.

"What was this thing?" Yukio asked.

"It was a dragon.... Well not really but still...... it was dead.... Or undead. Like a Walker..... W-Walker.... It had this fire." Ghost said.

The village looked at Ghost in shocked.

"We ran into it...." Amaris said.

"It chased us." Judith said.

"Indeed it did...." Jackie said as Cutter and Angel nods in agreement.

"So let me get this straight. The virus adapted and can infect dragons now?" Daryl asked.

"Yes. It seems like it took that dragons live here and adapted.... It evolved to spread faster." Amaris said.

"You need to do something! Now!" The butthead Magnus said complaining again. He looked at Rin hugging Ghost trying to warm her up.  "Ew why are there more people that we have no idea who they are. Why is the one that is hugging the elf girl look weird? What's with the hair?! Blue boy!!"

"Oi! Was that an insult!?" Rin said.

"Don't insult My brother." Yukio said. "Don't insult Ghost either! Who are you by the way!"

"You don't need to know!" Magnus said before looking at Amaris. "Human Flying Lizard Brat! Fix your mess! Bring everything back to normal right now!!"

"Hey! Don't call Amaris a brat!" Yukio said.

"Yea don't call her that!" Judith said stepping into the argument with Butthead.

"Shut it Magnus!" Amaris yelled out. "Everyone shut UP!"

Everyone went quiet as the black haired girl voice boomed all through the village.

The butthead decided to speak again.

"Why should I shut up?"

Before he can say anything else Amaris was holding his collar lifting him up in the air a bit.

"Trust me you'll want to shut up before I snap your neck in half." Amaris said as the villagers just panicked but didn't want to interfere. Amaris was in a not so great mood as she is currently threatening Magnus's life. The fear in the male's eyes were showing before he whimpered. Amaris let go dropping him as he fell on his butt. Amaris looked at Rin and Yukio and motioned them to follow her. The twins quickly nodded as Rin held onto Ghost.

Rin quickly picked him up bridal style as Ghost just looks at him holding him slightly. The girl was in shock from the cold and honestly didn't know what was happening. They all made their way up to the Roost.

"Oh yeah. Amaris someone who looked like you said to meet them at the Roost." Yukio said.

Amaris looked at him. "Let's go then." She said making her way there quickly.
