Amaris's POV,

It was too dark for me as I heard a squeak from Jackie. "I lied!!! Lucas HIT HIS HEAD! He's BLEEDING!"

I mentally freaked out.

"CHECK HIS PULSE!" I said.

A moment later Jackie yelled out.

"HE'S...."

Jackie's POV,

I didn't want to mess up so I checked his pulse again.

"HE'S ALIVE!" I yelled out as I sighed in relief.

I heard Amaris drop to the ground as she pokes her head so I can see her a little.

"That's good!" Amaris said. "Is he unconscious?!"

"Yeah!" I said.

"That's NOT GOOD!" Amaris yelled out.

I looked around as I let my eyes adjust to the dark cave.

"Hang on tight! I'm gonna go find something to help you up!" I heard Amaris shout as I hear her Footsteps run off.

I continually checked Lucas's pulse to see if it was still there or not.

I sighed in relief as his pulse was still there. Then I checked his head. It was bleeding but it didn't look deep where it had The brain Cerebral fluid coming out which I also sighed in relief. I didn't want to move him because I don't know what other injuries he gotten. I was able to get by with cuts and scraps on my legs and arms. I couldn't move his head and you shouldn't move someone if they got some sort of head injury.

I waited for Amaris to get back.

Did she go to the Roost to get rope or is she making some with vines???

I kept waiting as a couple minutes later went by as I heard feet crunching in the leaves I thought it was Amaris until I felt my heart drop when I heard a walker growling.

The walker walked straight into the hole falling down on its stomach as it crawls over to us.

I didn't have a choice but used my foot to punch it's head trying not to let it get at Lucas.

I looked up to see a rope come down as I see Amaris going down and most likely getting rope burned while she was at it.

Amaris quickly killed the walker as Leyla and Dak along with Winger and Summer brought down a stretcher to lay Lucas on. I didn't know how we were gonna do that but Amaris used her powers to lift him up and make his head in somewhat of the same position that was on the ground before.

Amaris laid him down as Burple came down and I got on him as Amaris grabs the rope tugging on it a little and sits on Burple before he flies back up. We head to the Roost and we get our healer to help Lucas out first. Amaris was the one who helped me out with my wounds as she was currently wrapping the bandages up after she put some sort of healing liquid on the wounds. After she was done she got up and looked at me.

"I'm going out by myself, keep an eye on Lucas." She said. I tried to protest but she made a point when she explained to me that I should take a rest, I fell silent as I saw Amaris walking out the door.
