10 Years Earlier.......

        Cody and Frankie were playing in the front yard of the fire station, when the call came over the radio. "Come in Burns family, COME IN" the mayor yelled over the radio. Cody ran over to a bunch and grabbed his mobile comminucator and answered the call.

        "Griffin Rock Rescue Squad how can we assist you mayor?" cody answered with his childlike melody to his voice. "Oh hello Cody I was watching my soaps and all my power has gone out and now I cant watch my shows and I can't go outside because my doors wont open HEEEEELP" The mayor exclaimed. Cody face-palmed as he hit the mute button "Some days I wonder about this town" Cody said sighing after unmuting cody continued "I'll Dispatch the whole rescue team" "Thanks Cody" The mayor replying happily.

        Cody then pressed the intercom button to alert the bots. "Urgent message from the mayor, his power's out and he is trapped in his house" Heatwave and Chief looked a each other then Chief said "Lets go get em then" Heatwave responds in kind by saying "Rescue bots roll to the rescue" blade pipped up for the first time all day with "Don't you mean Copter to.."  Heatwaves stopped him dead in his tracks and says "If you finish that statement I will revoke your GET OUT OF THE NEXT SPACE MISSION coupon I gave you" Blades cringed and transformed in preparation for Dani.

        Once all together they made their way to the Mayors home. When they got their they noticed the whole block was out of power and that part of the Mayors house had been completely demolished. Graham suddenly explained "It looks like a bomb went off" Dani flew in closer and said "Not a bomb....but something it even knocked out the power." Chief said sounding worried "I guess this wasn't an accident then......It's good the emergency phone in the Mayors office held out." Then Frankie came over the radio "My dad designed it to survive a nuclear bomb so I guess it did its job" The team answered in unison "Agreed" Then Kade grabbed his axe and said "come on Heatwave lets get the doors open" heatwave transformed and helped Kade pry open the doors. After which the Mayor came flying out hugging Kade "Oh Thank you I thought I was a goner" The Mayor explained. Kade just stood there looking at his father with this look of help me on his face. After a few moments of enjoying Kade's torture Chief Burns moved closer to help Kade "Come on Mayor lets get you somewhere safe while we investigate" Chief said as he ushered him off of Kade's waist an into Chase. As Chief Closed the Chase's Door he looked at Kade and said "Its Getting Dark lets get back to the command center we can come back tomorrow and investigate more." Kade Noded and went to pick up his axe and rope off the area before getting his gear back into Heatwave

        As the team finished up they started heading back to the command center. Little did they know though this mission was going to change them forever.
