It was dark, almost so dark the eyes cannot see, the only light came from a workbench deep within the halls of burns manor. The last of the burns thinks back over what has happened the past years. Time had not been kind. Due to past events each member of the burns family had gone their separate ways. Much has changed in the time since Morocco took over Griffin Rock. All because of that fateful day. So much changed...to much.

Doc Green lost all faith in inventing and moved back to the mainland. In time without the new tech he produced for Griffon Rock as well as the tech he gave the bots, progress on Griffon Rock began to slow and even die. Much of the tech broke or just became old and started to rust. As the tech began to die so did the governments interest in Griffin Rock.

Soon after the loss of interest in the island funding was cut and Doc was forced to move back to the mainland. With Griffin Rock in disarray Morocco saw a chance to take control. With new tech and a firm hold over the citizens and the mayor failing to do anything about it, Morocco decided to end things once and for all. Morocco detonated an enormous EMP Burst that destroyed all technology. The bots however not being 100% Tech eventually rebooted and mounted an offensive but in a turn of events Marocco revealed the bots to the world.

Following the battle in chicago the mercenary Lockdown began hunting the Autobots so at this time Optimus made a hard decision, he went into hiding to preserve what was left of the Autobots. Unfortunatly this means as the search for Optimus died down the government turned to hunting the rescuebots. The government decided to fund Marocco's campaign allowing him to mass produce his EMP tech. No one is sure where the new tech came from, not many had the chance to ask him. In exchange for the ability to hunt down an destroy the Alien presence. Morocco took over the island one piece at a time.

He spent his time creating drones from the fallen tech to run more and more people out of town and even conquer new lands. He had conquered Griffin Rock within week. In time he conquered the mainlands and eventually weaseled his way into almost every home. In mere months Morocco was a brand that was seen across the world in 95% of all homes. TV's, blenders, even weapons were M-Tech (Morocco Tech). No one would stand in his way with his army of drones wielding his tech destroying weapons.

The burns family eventually had to go into hiding with the rescuebots or face the loss of everything and everyone they held dear. Even Optimus went into hiding and had not been heard from since. The world had changed turned on its protectors. Hiding was the only option. So Dani went into hiding with blades working with search and rescue, and in honor of his idol Blades received a new paint job he was now carried Racing Camaro Stipes and a Brand New Black and White paint job. Kade and Heatwave retired somewhat to an island. Using Heatwaves second form as a yacht much to heatwaves dismay. Graham and Boulder retired to a farm somewhere just north of the island Dani and Kade settled on. Boulder loved plants so it was only natural, and with Grahams knowledge they had a fairly profitable farm. Chief went into hiding with chase and Cody who had become distant due to the events leading up to the mass tech exodus.

A sigh was heard in the distance. the last member of the burns family banged away at an invention. A communicator beeps in the distance. "What! I'm busy working" a man said putting the communicator in his ear. "I'm not having this conversation!" he yelled through the device. "Good Bye, Thank you for everthing Doc, I always considered you a friend but you can't help me with where im going" he said finally putting down the device onto his desk. "It's finally done. After all this time" He stood up his soft shoulder length blonde hair drenched in sweat. He smiled as he cradled the baseball sized orb in his hands "This time things will be different" with the last word trailing off he pressed the button on his device and smirked as he was engulfed in light......
