𝕬ll Carolina Winslet ever wanted was peace, rest, more than the limited amount of rest that she got after training tireless amounts of hours, she wanted a break from her life. That was why when her father told her of him placing her into the 10th annual hunger games as the female tribute, she did little to object, knowing that once they separated her from the wolves and threw her to others, every minute before she got thrown her into the arena would be her time for tranquility before the storm. And if in that storm, if something were to happen, then her time of tranquility would last a life time.

The tributes were seen as entertainment, with their survival being the last thing thought of by the capital, all they wanted from them was a good performance and that was all, there being a victor was something not as important as there being a good show. And the games were loosing its viewers, and with no viewers there would be no game, and the capital couldn't have that.

It was at the 10th annual hunger games that the Capital academy decided to place up 24 of their finest prodigy students to be mentors for the tributes. The Plinth prize was originally for the student with the best grades, it was instead that they made it for the best mentor. 

Coriolanus snow had his mind set firm on winning. It was only until he saw Carolina Winslet on the screen that his plans were altered. It was expected by everyone for her to win, with the knowledge of the girl being the only trained tribute, the expectations were high for her. And so Coriolanus Snow set his eyes on a better prize. And as they say, snow lands on top.
