When does revenge turn into vengeance? When it's justified? When a certain number of people agree on it? Revenge is a double-edged sword. The longer you hold it the deeper you cut yourself, but is this true? Or is it just a saying they tell children to form them into obedient servants for a just cause? To put them into a drawer of predictability?

Elektra Valorum was made from revenge. Her entire existence stood on the pillars of a spiteful act. Or so her grandmother, Aellone Deucalion, drummed into her. While her father told her she was the product of love, Aellone was persistent that she was the outcome of youthful defiance against a cause far older than she could ever imagine. A cause so old it meets the evens of when the Hapes Consortium decided to keep themselves away from the bothers of the Republic. Defiance, revenge, and rebellion were the blood in Elektra's veins - as well as failure.

Anakin Skywalker was made for a cause. It was, after all, what the Jedi taught him. The Chosen One, the one to bring balance to the Force. A knight for justice and peace. He was made for great things, as was the Will of the Force. He was made of sunlight and stars. A fire that could enlighten the galaxy was burning inside him, and it shone with every step he took whenever he struck the earth as if a god was hidden behind his mortal body.

Following her father's footsteps, Elektra became a politician of Coruscant. A voice among thousands, and yet hers was stronger, louder, and more drilling than the others. Fearful rumors spread among senators and representatives of her eerie abilities. That, in truth, she was the apprentice of her grandmother, and Aellone Deucalion was shrouded in mystery. Some say, she was a teacher in the hidden arts of the Force. Those rumors, however, seemed as ridiculous as any gossip the elites of Coruscant whispered behind their rival's back just to gain a tiny seed of favor. House Valorum and those associated with them had become the target of taunt and mockery ever since her father had fallen from grace in the Senate. Whoever thought politics would end at the border of the Senate building has never stepped foot in it.

Among the many rumors surrounding House Valorum, no one has ever fully grasped the entire truth. She was a Nemesis, a goddess of revenge, for that of her house and the hidden people of Hapes against the Jedi. As the Force wanted it, her grandmother foretold her.

Where Elektra Valorum stood for retribution and retaliation, Anakin Skywalker stood for forgiveness and peace. There was only one thing they weren't made for: love, and yet it was the very aspect of life they would fall for. The ingredient of their destruction, the anchor of the doom of the galaxy ⸺ and the spark of rebellion housing in both their souls.

🌌*blink blink* sooooo, never thought we'd come to this? 😅😅 Nevertheless, welcome everyone, and in all honesty, are you sure you want to read just ANOTHER Anakin fic on this force-forsaken app? 😂😂 alrighty. Leaving the jokes aside now, I never thought I would EVER write an Anakin fanfiction... ever. Anakin was a character I stayed FAR away from, and not only for certain past reasons *cough* but mostly because Anakin is one of the most complex canon characters to write for me 😂😂 I never dared to actually dare to write (for) him, as I have known only a few people who are able to write him in an accurate way, but I will try my best.

🌌 this story is all tragic lovers (of course, it's an Anakin fic😂) however, I will put a little twist on it. Elektra and Anakin are two sides of the same coin. i love my morally grey characters, and Elektra will just fit right into it. girl is dangerous, just as anakin, but while he solves many situations with his lightsaber, Elektra can do so with her voice and it isn't always for peace. girl is made a weapon, just as anakin, just another kind than him. I would like to mention that Elektra is highly inspired by Lady Jessica from Dune, Electra (daughter of Agamemnon and Clytemnestra), Megara (wife of Hercules) and Nemesis from Greek Mythology. The Hapan people (a species of near-humans first featured [i think?] in The Courtship of Princess Leia from the Legends books) will also have a role here, and will go deeply into their isolation from the galaxy AS WELL as their hatred for the Jedi. The anti-sentiment for the Jedi will be very obvious in the first arcs of this story and will bring a lot of tension (and not really the good kind) between Elektra and Anakin.

🌌A spoiler I want to share, as I believe it will rather "hook" you all. Elektra WON'T die in childbirth. End of the story. This story is really about all the beautiful and incredibly ugly sides of being in love to a point where lines of love and attachment (not the same thing by the way) are not so clear. Elektra and Anakin were both never taught how to handle emotions in the right way. The Jedi basically taught Anakin to not "feel" at all and just let the Force handle it all (this is a main topic in my Poe Dameron fic Ascension as well) and Elektra was taught by her grandmother to use her strong emotions only if it will bring her forward to her goal (revenge), and this involved seducing certain men. Love, however, was not something they both learned beyond that of parental love. (And this was always just one aspect, as Anakin had his mother's love and Elektra her father's but it was constantly dimmed by the ones to later on raise them). It's a complicated mess, especially bc Elektra is even a bit of an outsider in her family. Her stepmother is not a big fan of her, but tolerates her, her half-siblings certainly love her, but also find the presence of Elektra's grandmother a bit... strange, but you will learn more about it later. (Also, no Elektra's grandma is no Sith 😂😂)
