Music is something I love. Always have been more willing to do something if I have earbuds in. Having my own apartment, was like true freedom because I could play my favorite kind of music, whenever I wanted. It was usually music from Calvin Harris.

I had been able to meet the DJ a year earlier and we had actually stayed in touch, and he was due back in town for a visit before long, seeing as he had a gap in his schedule. I was excited to see it was him calling, when I walked inside from my balcony.

"Emily! I'll be coming into town on Friday, and am planning on spending two weeks. Got a room for me?"

"Of course I do! Are you kidding, you're the reason I have a guest room."

I could hear him laughing and it made me smile quite a bit.

"Well then, it sounds like we should have a wonderful two weeks. I'll arrive around four that afternoon."

"Sounds good. I'll be there at the airport to come pick you up."

"Thanks Emily. You're the best."

We hung up and I went back out on the balcony with a big smile on my face. One of my favorite guys was coming for two weeks, and it was going to be quite a grand time.

Friday afternoon rolled around, and I got into my jeep and drove to the airport. I had the music up as I drove, and it was a really good feeling to be off for the rest of the day. I pulled up at the baggage area, and it wasn't long before Calvin came out with his suitcase, and loaded up in the jeep. As soon as he was in the car he gave me a big hug.

"Em! How are you?"

"I'm wonderful, now that you are here."

He laughed as we pulled back out onto the road.

"I'm very glad to hear that. I have missed you so much. When are you going to take me up on my offer to come tour with me?"

"I don't know... When you offer to pay for my plane ticket?" I said jokingly and he just smiled.

"Consider it done! Why don't you fly back to Scotland with me after my visit?"

I was a little taken back at first by the offer, but soon nodded.

"Yes, I'll go. Sounds wonderful... I've been dying to get out of here for a while."

"Then it's settled, you'll go back with me at the end of my holiday."
The next two weeks were wonderful and soon I was packing my bags to head off with Calvin. I would get to see a live show, and be on stage with him. I was so thrilled to be going on a trip with my best friend and attend his shows and see how everything was first hand. I couldn't wait to see what happened next.
