Last chapter and  the sequel!

The rest of the year went by easily. Just as Korra thought, Mako got an athletic scholarship to the same college as she did! They would both be going to Republic City University, the same college Jace and Iroh go to! There was only 2 weeks left of school and this Friday was the Prom. Mako hadn't asked Korra yet, but she knew he would sooner or later.

"Hey Kor!" Mako greeted walking up to her.

"Hey."

"How's your Tuesday going?" He asked casually.

"Eh, so . I'm just glad school's almost over!" She said.

"Yeah, but that means we have exams all next week..." Mako whined.

Korra giggled, "We both have all A's right now. I'm pretty sure we will ace these exams..."

He grinned and kissed her cheek, "Lets hope so, you know I got a scholarship for sports. Not academic."

"So? You're still really smart." She praised him.

He rolled his eyes but his smile stayed on his face. "So, what are you doing tonight?"

"I don't know, why? What did you have in mind?" She asked.

"I thought we could hang out, maybe go to the park or something." He suggested.

"Sure, meet me at my house at...?"

"I drove you to school this morning remember? I can just drive us to the park." He reminded her.

"Oh yeah! Sounds good." She kissed him on the cheek and then closed her locker. "I gotta go to class, love you and see you later."

"Love you too." Mako grinned and walked to his class. Every time she said she loved him his heart fluttered. He loved hearing her say that, it made a warmth surround him.

She felt the same way, she couldn't believe all the events of this year. Her senior year proved to be her fav. year in school.

But she couldn't help but wonder why Mako hadn't asked her to prom yet...

'I hope he asks me soon! What if he just doesn't want to go? What if he doesn't like the prom? What if he thinks I don't want to go?! Ugh, why can't he just ask me!?' Korra thought.

The end of the day came quickly and Korra met Mako by the front of the school. He was leaning against the wall looking as hot as can be. He had on a leather jacket, a red muscle shirt, jeans, and red converse.

"Hey gorgeous, ready to go?" He asked, wrapping an arm around her shoulders.

"Mhm." She said as they walked to his car.

He opened her door for her and then got in on his own side.

"Let's go!" He backed out of the school parking lot and drove to the park.
*few minutes later*

"Come on, we're here."

He parked the car and opened Korra's door for her.

"Such a gentleman."

He smiled and put his arm around her shoulder, as they walked he kissed her temple and she leaned onto his shoulder some more.

They walked through the park and went to the playground. No kids were there today so they walked over to the swings. They really didn't care if the swings were for little kids! Swinging is fun!

When they were done on the playground, they walked to a bench that faced a pond.

"I gotta take you fishing here one day." Mako said, putting an arm around her shoulder.

"You fish?" She asked.

"Yeah, me and Bo used to come out here all the time with Uncle Toza. Then once we got older we... stopped." Mako told her.

"I would love to come fishing! I love to fish anyways." She said.

Mako smiled and Korra snuggled closer to him as the sun set. It looked beautiful, the way the orange hit the blue water. They mixed together to create a beautiful color.

"Korra..." Mako started.

He seemed really nervous and Korra got worried.

"What's wrong?" She asked.

"Nothing's wrong!" He said quickly.

"Mako, I can tell you are nervous. What's the matter?"

"Well you know I love you more than anything in the world and that you're the only one I want to be with..." He said, she blushed a little.

"Yeah I know, and I fell the same way." She said.

Mako turned to her on the bench and pulled out a little black box, he got down on one knee and Korra gasped.

"I know we are too young to be engaged to be married, so I thought I'd do the next best thing. Korra, will you except this promise ring?" He asked.

She smiled and tears came to her eyes,

"Of course I will!" She smiled and jumped into his arms, he laughed and swung her around before placing the ring on her finger.

"Oh yeah and one more thing to ask you!" He pulled out a rose and handed it to her. "Would you do me the honor of being my date to the prom?"

She laughed and took the flower from his hands.  "Of course I would you city boy ?"

He laughed and pulled her in for another warm embrace.

"I love you Korra, I've never felt this way for anyone else." He whispered in her ear.

She smiled warmly and whispered back, "I love you too City boy, and I feel the same way. When I'm with you, I feel like I'm in heaven. I've never been happy like this !"

He smiled a smile so big that he thought his cheeks would explode. He kissed her cheek and   took her home.

Today was the day! It was Saturday, otherwise known as the day of the prom! Asami had taken Korra dress shopping the day before so she was all set. Korra had no clue what Mako had planned, all she thought he was going to do was take her to the prom. She heard a knock on the door and opened it to see Asami.

"Hey, what are you doing here? Isn't Bolin picking you up?" Korra asked, letting Asami in.

She shrugged, "I just got a text saying he would pick me up over here." Her eyes widened when she looked at Korra's dress.

"What?" Korra groaned when Asami didn't say anything., "I know, it looks terrible."

"No... Korra! You look... FABULOUS! OMG YOU LOOK GORGEOUS! Mako is going to drool all over you!" She squealed.

Korra rolled her eyes, "You look beautiful too Asami."

She smiled and twirled around, "Don't I?" There was a knock on the door.

Korra laughed and went to open the door. When she opened it she saw Mako and Bolin waiting at the door, Mako holding a corsage for Korra. He looked hot, he was wearing a simple tux but he looked REALLY hot in it. It was tight, but not too tight, and it showed that he was fit.

When he looked at her, he was speechless and his jaw dropped. Her dress took his breathe away(korra's dress)👇👇

. She was wearing little make-up and had her hair down and wavy. She looked like a goddess. He was fully aware that he was staring but he didn't care, she was just so... gorgeous!

"Mako stop staring! I know it's not the best dress..." She said, looking at the floor.

Mako seemed to come to his senses and walked up to her. "Are you kidding me? Korra you look amazing, you're gorgeous, beautiful, stunning,-" He would have gone on and on but Korra stopped him.

"Thanks Mako." She said, looking down to try to hide her blush. "You don't look  bad yourself."

He blushed and pulled her in for a kiss, she smiled and then they broke apart when they heard Bolin and Asami awkwardly cough.

"Look I know you two are in love and you are really sweet together but please get a room." Asami said with a sweet smile.

Mako and Korra smiled sheepishly and nodded. "Sorry..." Mako muttered.

They heard the doorbell ring and they all looked at each other in question. They weren't expecting anyone else. Jace ran down the stairs, buttoning up his suit.

"I'll get it!" He yelled. He smoothed out his tuxedo and then opened the door for Ikola.

"Wow, you look amazing." He breathed.

"You look great too!" She smiled . They had gotten together shortly after the trial and had confessed their love for each other shortly after that.

"Ooooo! Picture time!" Korra's mom ran downstairs with her camera.

"Ugh! Mom!" Korra yelled embarrassed.

"What?" She asked.

"I don't think they want to take pictures..." Korra stated.

"No, I'm fine with that!" Asami smiled.

"Yeah, me too." Mako said with a smile.

"Me three!" Bolin cheered.

"Same here." Ikola said.

Korra looked at them and gave them a 'wtf' look.

Mako laughed and kissed her temple, and she sent a glare at him.

After her mom took pictures, they walked outside. Korra and Asami gasped. Mako and Bolin had rented a limousine!

"Oh my god!" Asami squealed.

"Wow, Mako this is amazing!" Korra breathed.

He laughed and helped her into the limousine, they sat down across from Bolin and Asami and Mako wrapped an arm around Korra's shoulders.

"I'm glad you like it." He grinned and kissed her forehead.

She smiled and snuggled closer to him. He rubbed her arm and Bolin and Asami did the same.

When they arrived at the prom, they walked in and danced. Mako and Korra danced  many slow dances they couldn't keep counting .

"And now to announce the king and queen!"

Everyone stopped dancing and walked up to the stage.

"Your prom queen is... no surprise here! Korra Valencourt!" Everyone cheered and Korra walked up to the stage.

"And your king is... Mako Anderson!" The crowd cheered again and Mako walked up onto the stage.

"And now for their special dance!"

Mako and Korra danced yet another slow dance. But they didn't care, they loved to dance with each other. Mako had his arms around her waist and she had hers on his shoulders.

"I love you." Korra said against his lips.

"And I love you." He replied, kissing her.

Today was graduation and Korra couldn't wait! All of her friends were graduating with her today! And her boyfriend, best friends, and good friends  were all going to the same college! That's right! Bolin, Asami, Korra, Mako, and Ikola were all going to the same college. It was the same one her brother goes to.

"Mako Anderson, going to Republic City University for a Football scholarship!" The principle said into the mic.

He walked up onto the stage and smiled, he shook everyone's hand and then walked up to the podium, he wasn't valedictorian but he was the school's president so he had to speak.

"I am so proud to be graduating, and I'm even more happy to know that I'm going to the same college as my beautiful girlfriend. I couldn't have gotten through this year without her, she helped me in so many ways. I want to also thank everyone else who supported me along the way! I enjoyed being your president and can't wait to see who our next school president is!" Mako ended and then walked off the stage, winking at Korra as he walked to his seat.

"And now for your valedictorian! Korra Valencourt! Who will be going to Republic City University because of an academic scholarship.

She walked onto the stage, looking at Mako along the way. He looked up at her with so much love and pride. He was proud of her.

"I want to thank all of my teachers and my parents. Without them I wouldn't of gotten through this year. And, of course, I'd also like to thank my boyfriend, Mako Anderson. He has done so much for me and I love him more than you could ever imagine. In my past years of high school at my old school, I never would have dreamed on being valedictorian! And now I am! I do believe it's because of Mako. He made me have a different perspective on things. Hell, before I came here I hated half the people at my school. But he let me see more than the 'popular' side of people. He made me see beyond that. With the whole Tahno problem, he was the one that kept me going. He was the one that helped me with my school work and he helped me with my emotions. And for that I love and thank him. And remember! Once a Fire Ferret, always a Fire Ferret!" She finished .

Everyone threw their hats in the air and celebrated.

Korra ran to Mako and he picked her up in the air and twirled her around. When he sat her back down, they kissed and cheered.

"So, you ready for college?" He asked her with a smirk.

"Bring it on."

Ohhhh I can't believe it they  graduate my babies 😞😞💔
