Taehyung smiled as he spotted her standing near the post box as she had told him she would be. She was standing there scratching the ground with her white converse low. She looked cute in her outfit, although it didn't match his aesthetics, and her hair was down. The sun was shining on top of her head which made her skin look golden and her hair sparkled like a halo over her.

He let down Yeontan who tilted it's head and looked up at him confused.

"There is your mommy. Run to her" he edged the small puppy on who took the cue and ran towards the girl standing a few meters away. The girl it had smelled on his shirt not too long ago and not just once. She heard its excited yelps and turned around.

"Yeontan!" She squeaked excitedly and got down to pat it's head. She took it in her hands and kissed top of it's head. After she was done showering Yeontan with all of her love, her eyes rose up to meet him. He had walked nearer and was standing there with his arms folded, looking down at them.

"Sorry I got carried away" she simpered, getting up with Yeontan in her arms.

"How are you" he asked.

"So much more alive I mean look at this little ball of joy!! God bless I'm a blessed soul I've no worries now that I have him here! My aches are gone, my life has increased, my bills have been payed, my bank account is ..."

"Alright alright, I get it...Yeontan seems to like you a lot as well." he smiled" So what do u have planned for us?"

She looked at him and then quickly averted her eyes.

"Uh, we're going hiking"she reached for a backpack that looked quite heavy and pointed at the hiking track ahead. She had quite a time getting up once she had the bag on her back and he watched her with an amused expression on his face.

"Let's go!" She started on her way forward but couldn't as he had grabbed the backpack from behind. She tried a bit before realising and looking back at him.

"Give it here" he asked, removing the straps from her shoulders and throwing it over his own.

"No!! That's.."

"Aren't you supposed to carry the baby?" He asked arching an eyebrow.

She looked down at Yeontan and slapped her forehead .

"I almost forgot my own child" she took the excited Yeontan in her arms "So this track is kind of difficult , that's why people dont prefer it. Which means you don't have to be worried about people spotting you. It's difficult and unkempt though, like I told you. And a lot of animals take dumps along the way so try not to step into any of that. But other than that it's quite cool you know and I would prefer it any day I mean..." she walked in front of him while he followed, hands in pockets, listening to her chatter and smiling continuously. Once in a while she would turn around waving her hands to emphasise her point and her hair would swirl around magically, at which he bit his lower lip every time.

She had so much of positive energy he didn't feel tired at all even after they walked something like 2 miles.

"Tada!" She stopped at a point, spreading out her arms as she turned around suddenly and he nearly bumped into her.

He gave her an inquisitive look.

"Here is where we'll have our picnic!"

"Were we supposed to..?"

"Absolutely!" She pulled down the bag from his shoulder and put it down which was attacked immediately by Yeontan.

"But before that..." she held his arms from behind and pushed him forward until they reached the edge of the mountain they had just conquered.

He looked down at the valley and smiled. He had seen prettier places but never felt so mesmerised because she was here, looking expectedly at him, with her sparkly eyes that he loved so much.

"Beautiful" he said

"I know" she gave a triumphant smile. "Hey Yeontan! That's our food in there!" She ran towards a busy Yeontan and scratched its head playfully.

"Okay hold him while I get the food out."

"I didn't know we were having a picnic or I would have brought..."

"So you thought I was going to starve you?"

"I mean I could've brought some food..."

"So" she cut him off, giving him the corners of a matt " I made most of it, and bought some from Gwangjang market. And you're going to fall in love with me when you are done with what I've made."

I think I already am, he thought.

She got out all the food she had packed into small boxes, and neatly arranged them(boxes) on the matt. She prepared a plate for him, with all kinds of food ranging from a sandwich to kimchi, dry noodles and everything in between.

"I hope it hasn't gotten all soggy and cold" she pouted.

He took a bit and was surprised to find out that it actually tasted great.

"And what is my baby going to eat?" she bent down, scratching Yeontan's ear and he nearly choked on his sandwich at how seductive she looked like that with her backside up although she wasn't even trying.

He had a great time just at a simple picnic lunch as she tossed everything in her mouth and chomped on it happily. She seemed to love eating just as much as talking.

After done with the food she cleared the matt and sprawled down on the fresh grass.

"Nice" she looked at the blue sky with fluffy bits of clouds.

"Hmmm" he said sitting down beside her holding Yeontan who jumped down and settled itself near her.

"He already loves you more than me" he pouted.

"Because I'm his mom" she said proudly.

He lowered down a bit, looking down in her eyes at which she almost froze.
He pushed her hair back, while his nose almost touched hers.

"Uh... tannie is watching so um..."

"So what?" he asked, staring at her lips, wanting to capture them in his already.

"I don't... like making out in front of our kids..."

He smiled and lied down beside her.

"I mean we aren't supposed to.." she said, getting up.

He pulled her towards him so her upper body landed on his and he wrapped his arms around her waist.

"Let's just rest" he said, enjoying how her breath had become faster and her heartbeat so loud he could hear it.

"O..okay.." she said, closing her eyes and bitting her lip.

This felt good, way better than anything he had ever done with other girls . He brushed her hair with his fingers and loved how silky and soft they felt.

"I can get used to this..." he closed his eyes, savouring the feeling of every little thing that was making him feel alive. They stayed there just like that for some time until...

"I have prepared something else too!" she suddenly jumped up.

"Uh...?" he got up too.

She reached for her bag and searched around in its depth until she found something that looked like...

"What is this supposed to be?" he asked, utterly amused.

"Why... this is a saxophone!" she exclaimed as if he had asked the dumbest question.

"This... isn't this a toy? For kids?"

"Well," she cleared her throat, shoving it at him " It's all I can afford. Now show me what you got"

"How did you... find out that i...?"

"Oh... um, it was the internet. Come on now! I need to listen you play!"

"You are joking right?"

"Do I look like I'm joking?"

"I... this... this is " he laughed.

"Give it here!" she grabbed the toy and blew through the mouth piece. An unholy sound erupted through it and Taehyung fell to the grass, holding his tummy and laughing like a maniac.

"What? Think you can do better?" she pouted.

He took the toy in his hands, examining it with an unsure look on his face.

"It's really awkward, I can't..."

"Okay, let's have a deal. You can play the music and I'll dance!"

"That's even more awkward! What if someone saw us?"

"Nobody's here. Come on!"

Taehyung pressed his lips to the mouth piece but again a fit of laughter overtook him. After trying really hard not to laugh he managed a few ugly notes.

"Here, let me do the sexy tiger dance!" she started crawling towards him on all fours and it was way too funny for him to handle, so he was back on the grass laughing his sides off. She crawled towards him and tilted her head at him, smiling cutely.

"Did anyone ever tell you how cute you look when you laugh?" she asked on her knees, looking down at him.

"I haven't laughed this much in years, so I guess nobody really got the chance" he said, still smiling.

"We have to start back though, mister smiley pants, because it'll start getting dark soon, the days have gotten shorter"

"Already?"

"Yesh" she nodded. "And um.... let me say something before we leave. Uh, I know this date wasn't really extravagant and the food I bought will probably give you diarrhoea but...

"Hey," he got up into a sitting position and held her shoulders gently.

"Hmmm?

"That was the best date I ever had" he said sincerely, kissing her forehead. "And I hope we can do this many many more times!"

"I... I hope that too..." she smiled, and he just placed a small, quick peck on her lips.

"Hey I told you not to do it in front of Yeontan!"

"What? This?" Another quick peck "Sorry, my bad" he smirked.

She scrunched up her nose and stood up, taking Yeontan in her arms again.

"You're going to be such a bad influence on our kids!"

"As long as they're 'our', " He got up too.

She gasped and started walking away with quick steps but he didn't miss how flustered she was. Soon enough, he caught up with her and threw his hand around her shoulder, smiling down at her.

"Let's walk together"
