Adin POV

“So I have made plans for us.” My sexy mate said when he walked into the house with no shirt on and sweating, all of us looked at Caleb with lust in our eyes.

“Do those plans include us being just as sweaty as you?” I asked and he smirked at me.

“No, well maybe if you play your cards right. I got all the kids to go to the packhouse to be taken care of and we, just us six, are going away for the weekend. It has been a long time since we went and did something alone together. We need it with everything that’s going on, I feel we need to reconnect and what better way than to just go away for the weekend?” He said and kissed each of us and I have to agree, the last time we went anywhere was for Altan so this is a great idea.

“So go pack and be ready to go in an hour. I’m going to take the kids to the packhouse.” Caleb said and went to get the kiddos and they were all ready to go within minutes.

“Have fun kids and please be good and watch after the babies when you are able, I know the pack ladies have no problem watching them but it would ease our minds if you boys looked in on them once in a while. We will be back Sunday evening. We love you boys.” I said and hugged my babies and kissed them. Altan is at that age where he doesn’t really want to hug and kiss his parents but I don’t care, I took him in my arms and kissed his cheek and Holt was doing a little better and he actually asked for a hug so of course we gave him one and they all left.

My mates and I went to pack our things for the weekend with no idea on what we are doing though so we packed casual clothes as well as dress clothes and swim trunks and things we will need or not, I have no idea.

“Where do you think we’re going?” Seth asked and we all shrugged with no clue. Caleb can be very sneaky when he wants to be and this is out of the blue, for us. He may have planned every detail and we wouldn’t know it. I packed a bag for him as well because he’s not here to do it himself. 

I opened his chest of clothes and picked up a few shirts and when I picked them up a bag fell on top of the shirts under the ones I picked up and I froze looking at a bag from this expensive jewelry store in the city that was hidden under them. I bit my lip and looked back at my other mates who were finishing their packing so I put one shirt back on top of the bag after I put it where it was and went about my packing Caleb’s things like I didn’t see a bag and finished quickly before Caleb got back and we went downstairs and he came into the house and we loaded up the truck.

“Thanks for packing my stuff, love.” He said to me and kissed me sweetly.

“No problem. Where are we going anyways?” I asked and he smiled and cupped my cheek.

“We’re going to Savannah Georgia.” He said and I gasped softly. I have always wanted to go there.

“I know, it’s one of the many places we will go to but this weekend, it’s your dream place.” He said and I hugged him tightly.

“Thank you.” I said looking up into his eyes.

“You’re welcome love.” Caleb kissed me again and he helped me into the truck and he got in the drivers side and after everyone was in, we left. 

“We’re flying so no need to worry if we’re going to drive a full day. We’ll be there this evening though so I figured after we get settled into the hotel we can go out to dinner on the waterfront and go do some exploring.” Caleb said as he drove to the airport.

“That sounds like a plan. It shouldn’t be too hot though right since it’s fall?” Eric asked and Caleb chuckled.

“Oh honey, the humidity no matter what season is hell. I have been there plenty of times playing soccer so no matter what season it is, it’s hot. Even in the winter it’s hot. They don’t get snow and the temperature never drops below sixty it seems.” He said and that sounds like it will suck since we still have pregnant mates.

“Don’t worry, there are beaches and lakes and lot’s of shade with all the trees. Also I won’t let my mates get dehydrated and keep you all out in the weather all day long.” Caleb said and chuckled again when we just gave him looks of disbelief but nonetheless, we know he will take care of us like the sweet mate he is.

Six hours later after we checked in and plus the flight time we were in Savannah GA and yes can definitely tell it’s humid and we’re not even outside yet. You can smell it in the air along with the smell of fish and the ocean. We went to baggage claim and got our bags and walked outside to see an SUV waiting.

“I may or may not have had this planned for a couple of weeks now.” Caleb said and went to open the back of the SUV and was handed the keys by the young man who was waiting next to it for us. We smiled and put our stuff in the back and we got into the SUV.

“Ok so the hotel room overlooks the river and you can also see some of the ocean when you look to the left. We are on the top floor also and it has a balcony and we have access to the roof.” Caleb said when we pulled in front of the Hilton Hotel. 

“It seems you did plan everything.” Nathan said and Caleb nodded.

“I did, I want this weekend to be perfect for you all.” He said and he got out to go check in while Nathan got into the driver's seat and parked. We got the bags out and went inside and once Caleb had checked in we went to the elevator and went up to the top floor and the door opened to the room, well suite I should say.

“The whole floor is this suite?” I asked and he smiled.

“Yea, it’s all ours.” Caleb said and he showed us where the bedroom was and it was huge. The bed alone could fit ten grown men his size with extra room. That will come in handy for sure. We put our stuff away and checked out the whole suite, it had at least five bedrooms, three bathrooms, a dining room, a full kitchen, living room and a hot tub in the master bathroom and one on the balcony. 

“This is amazing.” Eric said and we all agreed. 

“Now, let’s go have some dinner on the waterfront. It isn’t too bad out so you all should be comfortable.” Caleb said so we all changed into semi casual clothes and got freshened up to go have dinner.

“Welcome to Savannah Smokehouse BBQ & Brew, my name is Stacy and I’ll be your waitress this evening.” A pretty girl about twenty two said when she came to our table.

“Hi Stacy, thank you. We would like sweet tea and I would like a draft of Hot Dang Diggity, a neat name.” Caleb said and she smiled and nodded and wrote down our drinks after I said I wanted one as well. 

“Damn all this looks great.” Seth said and I was drooling a little looking at the pictures of the food.

“It really does. We can all order something different and share it if you want.” Eric said so when Stacy came back with our drinks we all ordered. I ordered the pulled chicken, Caleb ordered a rack of ribs, Eric ordered pulled pork, Seth ordered beef brisket and Vince ordered the smoked sausage and we ordered a side each, fried okra, baked beans, coleslaw and corn on the cob. 

“So Mr. Blackstone, where are we going exactly when we go explore?” Vince asked and Caleb smiled.

“I figured we could go to River St. It’s the main downtown spot with music, bands, drinking, dancing, all things fun. We need to have some fun.”

“Ok, that sounds great.” I said and when our food came, we all dug in after we split some with one another.

“Oh my gosh, this has to be the best bbq I have ever had.” I moaned as I finished the last of the food.

“I agree. It was amazing.” Vince said and we all finished our drinks and Caleb paid the bill but we five left Stacy a nice tip and we left. 

We walked outside and Caleb grabbed us as a few people on bikes went past us.

“Sorry!” One of the guys said and we chuckled. 

“This place is pretty cool.” Eric said as we were walking down River St looking at all the bars, listening to different types of music from almost off of them and seeing so many people dressed in so many different ways, it was awesome.

“It really is.” I agreed and Caleb was looking at a neon sign that had many colors and he looked over the crowd into the open door.

“I’ll be right back.” He said and dashed into the place so we stood around just looking at everything and a few minutes later he came back out with slushies in his hands and arms.

“Here you go, Seth and Nathan yours in nonalcoholic. I figured something cool to drink would be nice since it is a little humid with so many bodies.” Caleb handed us a slushie and we took a drink.

“This is delicious.” I said and looked at the cup, it was blue but it tasted like bubblegum. 

“Here try mine.” Caleb said and I took a sip of it and it tasted like bananas.

“Mmm that is even better.” I said and he smiled and kissed me. We all went on with our walk and ended up at the Savannah river and just sat down watching the boats and people in the water, people fishing and dancing, just having fun with no cares at the moment. 

“So there is a reason why I wanted us to come here this weekend.” Caleb said and we all looked at him and he pulled out that bag from his pocket of his jacket.

“I may have set something special up for all of you.” He said and opened the bag and got on both of his knees in front of all five of us.

“Now that we are complete and have kids, more on the way and are happy, in a wonderful place with our relationship, I was wondering if my loves, my lights of my life, my other halves would do me the honor of becoming my husbands, would you all marry me?” He asked, shocking us. I had an idea of what was in the bag but I could have been wrong. He opened each box and showed us the beautiful gold engagement rings with diamonds in them all around the bands, the diamonds are the colors of our eyes.

“Yes!” We all said and he put the rings on our fingers and after each one, we kissed him and we all had tears in our eyes.

“And tomorrow, we are getting married. I knew you all would say yes. Don’t worry about a thing.” Caleb said and he is so much like his daddy Liam with taking charge but I can’t lie and say I don’t find that to be sexy. 

“Tomorrow?! We didn’t even know this was going to happen so we have nothing to wear! Are you sure you have it all taken care of?” Vince asked, eyeing him and Caleb smiled.

“Of course cottontail, trust me.” Caleb said so we left it be knowing he very well has it all taken care of.

“I can’t believe we’re going to be married tomorrow.” I said and we all sighed happily as we all cuddled on the soft grass after we found a park and just watched the stars and people.

“Come on, let’s go back to the room and get showered and some sleep, we have a long day tomorrow.” Caleb said when he noticed Nathan and Seth were close to passing out. So we got up and Caleb picked up Seth and Eric picked up Nathan and we went back to the hotel.

After we got showered and ready for bed, we all laid down and cuddled up close with one another and as I closed my eyes, I couldn’t help the smile that found itself on my lips thinking about tomorrow and how the day will go.
