Caleb POV

"What are we going to do about Holt in this state? He can't go to the trial in this state." Vince whispered. 

"I'm going to call Connor, maybe he can go to New Moon and spend a week or so. Being here isn't going to help him at all. I'll talk to Darrold about Kase going with him since this affects them both." I said and my mates all looked at me unsure if it'll work. 

After we decided on what to do next we decided to cook together. 

"Has anyone talked to Eric? I still don't trust that woman." Adin said. 

"He's fine, his mother pulled a gun, and luckily one of the warriors tackled and rolled with him to avoid getting shot." I said. 

"He's getting checked out at the emergency room when the warrior tackled him he hit his head and got whiplash causing him to temporarily blackout." I added. 

"I hope she rots in hell." Nathan said. 

We all gasped. Nathan hardly ever curses. 

"I'm sure she will." Seth said. 

When we finished cooking we all watched movies. 

"Daddy's home!" We didn't even realize we fell asleep until Eric busted through the front door scaring us all out of our sleep.

"What the crap!" Vince said, holding his chest.  

"Sorry, sorry, I didn't know you all would be passed out considering I was almost murdered." He said being all dramatic and we laughed. 

"Well, we're all glad you're home safe and sound." We all hugged him but Holt was still quiet. 

"What exactly happened?" Vince asked. 

"Well from the moment I got there it all went to shit, I tried my best to be civil and try to talk to her like a normal person but that didn't happen and when I was getting up I heard someone yelled 'gun' and one of the warriors tackled me and we rolled out of the path of the bullet causing me to get whiplash and blackout." He sighed. 

"We're sorry babe, you don't deserve that." Adin said. 

"It's ok but I'm more concerned about Holt." He said looking at our son who was looking everywhere but us. 

"Baby boy, what's wrong?" Eric said, trying to get Holt to say something.

We all know it'll take some time to get over the fact he may never have kids of his own. 

"What's there to talk about? I can't give my mate what he desires. The one thing we both wanted and I can't do that for either of us because I'm infertile. If you can figure out how to heal me then we'll talk." He said with tears in his eyes and I can feel his pain. The one thing he wants is a family of his own and we can't help him. 

"Holt, look at me." Kase said kneeling in front of Holt. 

"I still love you ok? I understand this is hard for you but we'll get through this." Kase said and I just stared at them hoping they can make it through this. 

"He's right Holt, I was stabbed by my mother a total of… well, I don't even know. You were stabbed fifty or so times so who knows what the future will hold. I haven't had my wolf spirit yet and I still got pregnant. Don't lose hope. It may take a while but it could happen at some point. If it doesn't then you just have to be the best parent you can be and adopt. Adopt from young and get the full experience." Eric said smiling and I can see a small smile appear on Holt's face." We all hugged him. 

"We love you, Holt, no matter what. Whatever the future holds we'll be by your side." I said and we all agreed. 

"I still want you to talk to Connor though, both you and Kase will need it." I said seriously. 

"What about the trail?" Holt asked. 

"The trial won't be for a while, you'll be able to go there for about a week and then we'll go from there." I said. 

"And what about therapy?" He asked. 

"If you prefer Connor to come here then we can do that." I chuckled. 

"That would be great." Holt smiled a genuine smile. 

I nodded. 

"I'll call him now." I said. 

I walked outside and called. 

"Hey Connor, how are you?" I said. 

"I'm good, with my mates and the kids currently." He said. 

"I can just call you back then, I don't wanna be a bother." I said. 

I heard the squeak of a couch and heard shuffling. 

"What's up Caleb? Is everything ok?" He asked, a bit concerned. 

"It's Holt, he was physically assaulted and things happened and there's a chance he won't be able to have kids." I sighed. 

"I see and you want him to see a therapist?" He asked. 

"Not just any therapist, the best. You helped with dad and he got better so I thought you could help Holt and his mate get through this." I said. 

"Why not heal him?" 

"I want to, I really do but my powers are growing and I don't want to hurt him." I said. 

"Skylar can help if you'd like. We can teleport over there and while I'm with Holt and his mate you can train with Skylar." He said. 

Do I really want them to come here and leave their family behind? 

"If you're worried about my family then don't be, we have teleportation necklaces for a reason." He chuckled. 

"Don't laugh at me…" I groaned. 

"Sorry, but on a serious note, we can be there and spend a little time there and we can help you guys out." 

"If you're sure then I guess it's fine." I said. 

"Great." I felt a tap on my shoulders and flinched. 

"Why is everything scaring me today…" I huffed. 

"Why are you so jumpy today?" Skylar laughed. 

"Asshole." I glared and we walked inside. 

"Are you guys hungry?" Vince asked as he was making a plate of food. 

"We could eat." Connor said and Skylar shook his head. 

After they ate I watched as Connor walked towards Holt and Kase. 

"You can use my home office if you need privacy, Connor." Adin said. 

"Thank you." He said and the three of them walked upstairs. 

"Now that they're with Connor, you sir have training to do." Skylar said. 

Fuck I'm so dead. 

"Don't look so terrified, you'll live." Skylar laughed. 

"Says the one with years of experience." I said. 

"You're a Tiger God, we can knock out years of experience in one go you just have to trust and believe in yourself and Raja." He said. 

"Yea, have trust in me." I laughed hysterically at Raja. 

"What powers do you have mastered?"

 "Fire manipulation, tactile healing, immortality, and spirit division. Not really sure what more I or Raja can do." I say honestly. 

"Well, the origin of your powers come from heaven and earth so that would include the elements and spiritual magic." He smiled. 

"Yea I guess so." I chuckled. 

"We'll start with what I know and then we'll figure the rest out together." He said and I nodded. 

Why do I feel as if I'm going to regret this? 

Three hours later… I knew I'd regret this. 

"Come on we've only been at it for three hours." Skylar said, smirking. 

I was glaring at him and breathing heavily. 

"Easy for you to say." I coughed. 

"It's a simple energy shield to shield yourself and others." Well, excuse me, sir. We're not all quick studies. 

I groaned. 

"Can't we take a break?" 

"Not until you've mastered all that I have." I inhaled and sighed. 

"Fine let's get this over with." I grumbled. 

For the next few hours, we practiced until my body literally felt like it was going to give out. 

"You did amazing! I knew you could do it. You got half of what I've learned in a matter of six hours. After dinner, we can come back and finish or do the rest tomorrow." Tomorrow sounds good but I want to help Holt as best as I can. 

"We'll go again after dinner." I said as we walked in. 

We stepped through the door I landed on my ass. 

"Hey, kiddo." I chuckled at Altan. 

"Hi, papa." He said giggling. 

"What have we said about running in the house?" I tried to act serious but he was too adorable to stay mad at. 

"I wanted to watch you train." He smiled.

"After dinner then you can." I chuckled and kissed his forehead. 

"Yay, ok!" He giggled running off and screaming for everyone to come eat. 

When everyone came down I couldn't help but smile at Kase carrying a blushing Holt into the dining room. 

"Are you feeling any better kiddo?" I smiled at my smiling boy. 

"I am dad. Sorry, I scared you all." 

"What matters now is you're feeling a little better." I smiled. He may be smiling now but he has a long road to recovery that's for sure. 

"Thank you Connor and Skylar for being here." 

"It's no problem." They said and I smiled as we all ate and talked about how their lives are and ours. I honestly forgot that they haven't seen Altan in forever. 

After dinner, it was time to get back to training only this time my whole family was with me. 

"You can do it, dad." I smiled as Holt and the others cheered me on. 

We were training for God knows how long but my body was screaming at me to quit but I just kept going. 

"This last power is tricky so don't worry if you can't get it." He said and I nodded. 

"We're opening the spiritual gate." He said. 

"What?" I was confused. 

"Close your eyes and just listen to my voice and the sounds of nature around you. Allow yourself to drift and find your way to the gate." I felt like I was slowly falling asleep but I wasn't. 

When I opened my eyes I saw in front of a sliver gate and behind it were several tigers. 

"We are the tigers who came before you." I kneeled on impulse. 

"It's an honor." I said. 

"Stand human." I stood as the most beautiful of the tiger Gods and Goddesses stepped closer. 

"Where am I?" I asked. 

"You dear child are in the supernatural spirit realm." I looked around and was amazed. 

"We're amazed you've made it here, it takes a great deal of concentration and power to come here." I smiled. 

"For your troubles, we bestow a piece of ourselves within you." They all touched my chest and forehead and I was knocked on my ass again. 

"Ow…" I groaned. 

"You now have our powers and memories, we bid you well on your journey whatever it may be." I began to be pulled back into reality. 

"Blessed be child." They all said and roared. 

"Caleb…" I heard someone call out to me. 

"Mmm… my head hurts like hell." I said groaning. 

"That happened to me too, overtime I was able to gain memories and powers of werewolf princes before me." Skylar said. 

"That's cool…" Altan said, taking the words right out of my mouth. 

"It is and when your time comes, you too will gain the knowledge your father has learned." Skylar said and Altan did a happy dance. 

"Let's get to bed, we've all had an eventful day." Adin said and I couldn't agree more, I'm so tired I could barely move and luckily I didn't have to as I was picked up by Connor and carried upstairs. 

If I have to go through another day of hardcore training, there better be a spell or power on how to get a new body.
