The rabbit had already decided to leave, clearly sensing that we were fucked from the start. Suddenly I wished I was that rabbit. 

A man wearing very distinct cow print leg warmers stood on top of the giant ass sword that had been thrown at our heads only moments ago, his mouth was covered in bandages and on his head was a Kiri headband.

"So unbelievebly fucked right now." I said, shaking my head.

"Hand over the old man and I'll let you all go." Zabuza said, pulling his sword out of the tree and leaning on it.

"Like that's going to happen." I scoffed, crossing my arms. 

Zabuza immediately turned to me, Kakashi smacked his palm to his forehead.

"Shit. Was that outloud?" I asked, turning to Naruto who was beside me.

"Yes." Naruto replied, shaking his head.

Zabuza actually laughed at me, but not in a good way.

"You're all asking for it." Zabuza growled, pulling his sword out of the ground.

"Bring it!" Naruto exclaimed, getting ready to jump forward.

"No Naruto, I don't think you realise who this is." Kakashi said, putting his hand in front of Naruto.

"Zabuza Momochi, missing nin of Kirigakure, member of the seven ninja swordsmen of the mist, also S-ranked." I interupted, remembering what I had heard from the show.

"Someone's informed." Zabuza chuckled. "But did you know your sensei is the Copy nin of Konoha? Also known as Kakashi of the sharingan?"

I didn't reply, Sasuke flinched, and both Sakura and Naruto just looked confused. Kakashi didn't bother to explain and instead started barking orders at us.

"Diamond formation now! Protect the bridge builder!" Kakashi barked.

Sasuke jumped in front, Naruto went to the left, I went to the right, and Sakura protected the rear, but she still faced the rest of us so she could watch.

"I'll be needing this." Kakashi said, lifting up his headband.

Sasuke gasped as he saw his sharingan, while Sakura and Naruto continued looking confused.

"What an honor, I get to see the sharingan in person." Zabuza said, smirking under his mask of bandages.

"Sharingan? I keep hearing Sharingan! What the hell is it?!" Naruto exclaimed.

"The sharingan is a kekkei genkai exclusive to the Uchiha clan. The sharingan allows the user to copy jutsu and analyse their opponents moves, but there is much more to it." Sasuke said, explaining it briefly.

I'm pretty sure I could understand Sasuke pretty well, he was just wondering where Kakashi-sensei got his sharingan, especially because he wasn't an Uchiha. I wasn't really paying much attention to Kakashi's fight, but I tuned in again once I saw Kakashi flying through the air, right into a lake nearby.

"Shit." I mumbled.

Zabuza stood on the water, making Sakura and Naruto gasp, before quickly doing hand signs and trapping Kakashi in a bubble of water.

"Kakashi-sensei!" Naruto and Sakura screamed.

"Double shit." I mumbled, Sasuke sort of grunting in what I think is agreement.

"You guys need to run! Now! Take Tazuna and get out of here!" Kakashi yelled.

"No way!" Naruto yelled.

"We can't leave part of our team behind!" Sakura said.

"Hn." Sasuke agreed.

"I didn't have enough time to think of something better to say, so..." I mumbled. "What they said!"

"But think about the mission!" Kakashi yelled at us, urging us to run.

We all turned to Tazuna with determined expressions.

"Go save your sensei. As long as I'm here you aren't abandoning your mission." Tazuna said.

Zabuza made a water clone of himself using one hand and his clone fought in his place, also using the real Zabuza's sword. The water clone ran towards us, but Naruto jumped in front, using a kunai to try and deflect his sword. Naruto's knees buckled under the pressure and he called out for help.

"A little help would be great!" Naruto yelled.

I pulled my katana from is sheath and helped Naruto force back the sword. We couldn't over power him, but we managed to re-direct his sword, making it veer to the left.

"You little genin wear a headband and think you're a ninja?" Zabuza scoffed, kicking Naruto so hard his headband flew off. "Have you ever killed someone?"

"Killing people doesn't make you a ninja." I said, glaring at him. "Sure killing someone can prove your strength, but at the end of the day you're a ninja to protect what's important to you."

In the spur of the moment I charged at Zabuza, blocking with my katana and dodging as much as possible. I purposely lead him away from Naruto's headband, giving him a chance to grab it. Naruto made a dash for his headband and grabbed it, quickly retreating back. Once Naruto had his headband I jumped away from Zabuza and went back to my team, still holding my katana in front of my face.

"Guys if we don't come up with a plan we are going to be even more fucked then we already are." I whispered, turning to the rest of my team.

Naruto and Sakura nodded silently and Sasuke grunted.

"I'll be a distraction, you guys come up with a plan and make sure someone is guarding Tazuna." I whispered, nodding once to my team.

"Be carefull!" Naruto whispered.

I faced Zabuza and stepped forward, pointing my katana at him. I took a deep breath in and put my hood down, making it easier to see left and right. My hair which was in a ponytail spilled out of my hood and I narrowed my eyes.

"You're going to fight me girlie?" Zabuza asked, amusement laced into his voice.

"I'm not a fucking girl!" I exclaimed.

"I guess you're right. Your voice is too deep and you're flat." Zabuza said, laughing.

"If I were a girl I'd be extremely offended." I replied, rolling my eyes. "Good thing I'm not."

I dug my heels into the ground, ready to push off and dodge or attack. Then I said something I've always wanted to say.

"Come at me bro!" I taunted, swinging my katana.

"This should be fun." Zabuza chuckled.

It happened so fast that I almost didn't dodge. One second he was standing there, and the next he was coming at me. He swung his sword at me horizontally and I narrowly dodged by flipping backwards.

"You're fast kid, I'll give you that." Zabuza said.

I have Orochimaru to thank for that. He managed to merge lizard and bird DNA in with my own, making my bones hollow and lightweight, injuries heal faster and my agility is also better than average. Because I'm agile and don't weigh a lot, moving around in battle keeps my chances of surviving high.

Zabuza and I had a silent stare off until he attacked again, swinging his sword at me again, this time from above. I dodged left as quick as I could and attempted to land a roundhouse kick to his side. He blocked with his sword and I felt a wave of pain shoot up my ankle.

"Shit." I cursed, feeling the pain in my ankle.

A downside to the merged DNA, because my bones are hollow they break easy and I'm not all that strong when it comes to physical attacks. The lizard DNA makes me stronger, but not by much. My ankle stings a bit, but I think it's a minor sprain, It should heal in a day or two.

"Done already?" Zabuza asked. "That sucks, I thought you were stronger."

I reached into my ninja pouch and pulled out a smoke bomb. Once I was hidden in the smoke I quickly did the clone jutsu and made six clones.

"Shadow clone jutsu!" I called out, just to be misleading.

I could practically hear everyone's surprised gasps as they thought I was doing the shadow clone jutsu. I swapped places with one of my clones and had them act as the original. Once the smoke cleared my clones and the real me faced Zabuza.

"Attack!" My clone yelled, acting as me.

Because my clones were illusions, they couldn't inflict any damage or hold weapons, so my katana laid on the ground next to the main one. My clones rushed in and overwhelmed Zabuza, giving me the chance to sneak behind him. My clones dispersed and Zabuza realised I was behind him. His clone went to kick me, and just as his foot was about to hit my chest, I threw a kunai, destroying the clone.

"Surprise mother fucker!" I shrieked, afterwards landing on my ass.

I went to stand, but a wave of pain shot up my ankle. I crumpled to the ground.

"I'm done." I huffed. "My ankle's fucked, so I hope you have a plan."

"Ready to go!" Naruto exclaimed. "You got us more than enough time!"

"Hn." Sasuke agreed.

"Good." I replied, grabbing my katana and using it as a crutch.

I hobbled over to Sakura and stood next to Tazuna protectively.

"Time to get our sensei back." I said, giving Naruto and Sasuke an encouraging smile.

My ankle's fucking killing me.
