[EPISODE ONE]

The town of Riverdale had been hit with a great tragedy the death of Fred Andrews me and my brother Jughead decided to pay a tribute to him by writing an article me and Jughead had always had a passion for writing and over the years we found out that we had a talent for it. The next day after the bell rang me and Jughead had been summoned to the new head of Riverdale highs office Mr Honey as we entered the room I saw an unfamiliar face sat across from him.

As we walked further Jughead spoke "are we in trouble again" he said as we walked over to him "no in fact you have a visitor" Mr Honey said which made me look at the stranger in question more thoroughly he had shining brown eyes that caught my attention.

As he stood up I stared at him further "I'm Mr Chipping Nice to meet you Jughead and of course River" he said as both of our eyes met and I smiled at him "It's nice to meet you" he said before placing his hand out for us to stake Jughead being him accepted the hand shake however I stared at him and then his hand before declining it which clearly Intrigued him.

"Nice to meet you too" Jughead said as he looked at me "over the summer both of you submitted a short story to writing contest" he said looking at both of us "yeah but clearly it was fixed because we didn't get first and second place" I said which made him laugh "yeah I know I was one of the judges, and I was very impressed with your voice and while I couldn't sway my fellow judges, I can offer you an opportunity to come study writing with me" he said which shocked me a little.

"I am a teacher at Stonewall Prep" he said which made me realise of course but then I felt a little weird I swear I had heard that name before somewhere "you want us to Transfer to Stonewall Prep" he said questionably I glared at Mr Chipping before speaking "sorry not going to happen" I said sarcastically "it's a tremendous offer Mrs Jones you should really consider it" Mr Honey said but I liked it here at Riverdale high and all of my friends were here. "I'm good" Jughead said which made me look at him and smile I was glad which now sounds a little selfish because I have always been by my brothers side every since we had been born and I didn't know if I could cope if he moved away.

"But Thankyou for the visit and for liking my story" he said as he began to walk away I stop however just looking at Mr Chipping I didn't want to leave but I still wanted to find out about this mysterious stranger has he had definitely caught my attention unlike any other. At the end of the school day me and brother headed home I was hoping it was going to be a quiet evening however fate had other ideas as we stepped through the door and headed into the rather dark living room I heard my father speak "Jug, River. You know Mr Chipping" he said looking at us and they both stood up and began to walk towards us I began to feel my heart beating faster in my chest as my dad looked at Jughead I stared at Mr Chipping once more.

"He was just telling me about an offer he had made the both of you" he said looking at us both sternly so I knew something was wrong clearly Mr Chipping had told my father about what we had said and he wasn't happy about it "yeah and we still haven't changed our minds have we jug" I said as turned to face my brother giving him a stern look "I'm sorry Mr Chipping, but I can't go to your school."

He said which made my dad walk closer to us and look at us this time without a stern look "if this is about money I got a few bucks socked away" he said but it wasn't about money o knew we wouldn't be accepted there "no dad it's not about the money" I said sounding shocked. "You look me in the eye and tell you don't wanna go to a school that wants to recognise you for you amazing talent for writing" he said.

"How about this the both of you come take a tour with me at Stonewall Prep and see the place and make the decision properly" he said which annoyed me he was trying to push us to go to Stonewall Prep but why was he so interested in toe kids from the wrong side of the tracks "I no but I just don't wanna waste" but before he could continue my father interrupted him "your taking the damn tour" he said "no I'm not, I'm not going to a school for a bush of posh kids alright" I said before beginning to walk away from him "don't you walk away from me kid" he said sounding angry "oh look I'm doing it" I said as I began to walk up the stairs towards my room.

But as I was about to open my door I stopped and headed back to the direction I had came from and sat on the corridor and listened in until Mr Chipping was about to leave he turned round and looked me directly in the eyes and smiled before heading out the door.
