Reincarnation. The power of infinite lives was in the hands of humanity. However, the ability can be dormant in many. Typically everything ran on a cycle of nine. Nine different people all bearing the same name, living & dying constantly. This brought on consistent struggles with hello & goodbye. A means of life & death completely useful. but utterly incontrollable. Isn't that just beautiful ?

The cycles have never been broken. Nine was the perfect number. People trusted in the cycle. NewLife Industries was an up & coming company that had seen immense potential in the reincarnation abilities people now had. 

Not much was known about this company besides that its CEO was a woman named Cha Min-Seo... The woman coined as "Seoul' Life Force" in the media, given her company. She was the woman of the century. 

Cha Min-Seo currently was holding a press conference. She was completely calm & knew that everyone had questions about her company. After all, her company was heavily influential due to the remarkable reincarnation abilities all citizens possess. 

"Ms. Cha how is NewLife going to benefit the citizens of Seoul ?" The question was simple, but Min-Seo was prepared for these questions. This woman doesn't scare easy. "N.L.I는 우리 국민이 가지고 있는 환생 능력을 연구하고 유지하기 위해 노력하고 있습니다. 우리는 사람들의 회사입니다." (N.L.I strives to research and maintain the reincarnation abilities the citizens of our country possesses. We are a company of the people.)

Camera continuously flash as this conference was being shown everywhere. The public watched in anticipation. "What kind of research will you be overseeing ? We all are aware of the reincarnation ability & how it is to be used." Min-Seo gave a smile as cameras were still heavily trained on her from all angles. "What if the reincarnation cycles break ? We have nothing that can prepare us for that. Shouldn't we be counterproductive & put some measures in place ?"

This was very much true. The reincarnation operated in cycles. Nine, to be exact. Never any more, & never any less. It was always nine. It seemed to draw from the myth that cats have nine lives. However, Cha Min-Seo wasn't telling the public everything. However, this is when she decided to announce her latest project at the company. Not that this was entirely the truth, or what the true intentions were for her company. "You said you had an announcement, Ms. Cha... What did you wish to share with us ?"

Min-Seo stood up gracefully as she offered an excited smile. She sure did know how to work the crowd. "N.L.I는 Cycle 9라는 우리의 환생 연구 프로그램을 자랑스럽게 소개합니다." (N.L.I proudly presents our reincarnation research program called Cycle 9.)

This got the crowd to erupt in cheers as soon as a promotional video began playing on the screen behind Min-Seo. The video briefly showed the quote on quote "research facility" that NewLife Industries would be running their tests. People looked impressed & immediately began taking out their checkbooks. 

Min-Seo charmed the crowd before she was soon lead off stage to her car. Her secretary met her in the car. "We have seven candidate families listed, Ms. Cha. Do you want to meet with the families ?", her secretary asked as she handed the iPad over to her boss. Min-Seo looked over the briefs of the candidate families. "Schedule them on different days this upcoming week. I don't want any delays."

Her secretary simply nodded before sending out this email to the families in question:
