A Week Later

Min-Seo had all of the boys sitting in a room. Min-Seo herself never entered the room, but she watched & heard them from a secure control room. Yoongi groaned, "도착한 지 일주일째 진정제를 맞고 있어요. 이게 그럴만한 가치가 있나요?" (We've been sedated for a week since we arrived. Is this even fucking worth it ?) Namjoon spoke up given how Yoongi was responding. "Ms. Cha hadn't hurt us with the sedation. I assume it was to keep our bodies relaxed while she conducted her initial tests."

Jin spoke up next, "I agree with Namjoon. Reincarnation has been a tricky ability. Many of Seoul' citizens have the ability dormant for many cycles..." Hoseok, Jimin, & Taehyung remained quiet. The conversation was intense.

"Oh, so we're supposed to act like fools then ? CEO Cha isn't as pristine as you all think," Yoongi responded in retaliation. Jungkook chuckled. For Jungkook was privileged. Jungkook was certified money that Min-Seo couldn't afford to lose. Not with the plan she had in mind. "그럼 우리가 비관적인 멍청이여야 하는 건가요? 미안하지만, 정말 웃겨요. 우리는 차 대표님의 프로그램을 위한 기니피그입니다. 왜 그렇게 반대하세요?" (So we're supposed to be pessimistic assholes ? I'm sorry, but that is fucking hilarious. We are guinea pigs for CEO Cha' program. Why are you so against that ?)

The conversation ran cold as Secretary Oh entered the room. Min-Seo was more than pleased Jungkook knew the relative of his place, even if he was against her. "Hello boys, I am here to give you your briefing."

Everyone turned their attention to Secretary Oh. She looked a bit on edge, but she couldn't mess this up. Min-Seo wanted no delays of any kind. "What is it ? What will you have us do ?", Hoseok asked Secretary Oh gave brief smile.

"각자 기자 회견을 하게 될 겁니다. 사람들은 당신에 대해 알고 싶어할 것입니다. 특히 이 보도 자료들은 여러분 모두가 9주기 연구 프로그램의 참여자임을 발표할 것이기 때문입니다." (Each of you will have your own press conference. The people will want to know about you. Especially since these press releases will announce you all are participants of the Cycle 9 research program.)

Just as soon as Secretary Oh arrived, she had left. "Is this all necessary ? I didn't think we'd have to entertain the media while we were here," Taehyung questioned as Yoongi began angrily looking around the room.

This was way too convenient. Jin questioned Yoongi. "What are you doing ? You are even more angry than you were a few minutes ago." Yoongi ignored this as he searched the room, finally finding the camera hidden in the corner of the room.

Yoongi wanted to make a giant statement. He gave the camera his middle finger as he said his piece, "엿이나 먹어! 이 모든 것은 당신이 사람보다 돈을 중시하기 때문이에요! 내가 틀렸나요?" (Fuck you ! All of this is because you value money over people ! Am I wrong ?)

This little outburst of Yoongi' certainly got Min-Seo' attention.  Dr. Lee looked at Min-Seo questioningly. "Um, what should we do about that ?" However, Min-Seo wasn't scared of Yoongi in the slightest. If anything she was more motivated in her plans because Yoongi was the most strongly opposed to her.

Min-Seo smirked staring at the monitor that displayed the live footage from the room the boys were all in. "그들의 보도 발표 후에, 저는 우리가 2단계에 들어가기 전에 오 비서에게 그들 모두를 확인하도록 할 것입니다." (After their press releases, I'll have Secretary Oh check on with all of them before we enter phase two.)
