Sometime Later...

The seven of them were in Jungkook' home, all his staff dismissed for the day. Seven folders littered the table before them. "열어볼까요?" (Should we open them ?), Hoseok asked as his eyes landed on the pile of folders. Namjoon sighed. "We should. Secretary Oh seemed very worried about whatever is in these folders. It would also be safe to assume the folders all hold the same information."

Jin picked up on of the folders. It would be a lie if you say none of them were a bit terrified of what could be in these folders. "Well ?" Taehyung took the folder from Jin, "I'll open it..."

Silence overtook the room as Taehyung swiftly opened the folder. The sight before the seven of them was nothing lighthearted. There were tons of photos & documents that were no doubt confidential, all signed by none other than Cha Min-Seo. Yoongi groaned, "저는 사실이 되기에는 상황이 너무 좋다는 것을 알았습니다! 이것이 증명합니다!" (I knew things were too good to be true ! This proves it !)

Jungkook cleared his throat as he looked over everything once more. He probably was about to suggest something entirely dangerous, but he'd be the only option given his... inheritance. "Then there is one option left..."

"What would that be ?", Jimin asked as his eyes scanned the photos once more. The photos showing their time with the "research" program that NewLife Industries endorsed. Jungkook smirked as he sat the folder down once more. "Me. Cha Min-Seo would open up to me given I am now an investor at N.L.I."

Hoseok was completely opposed to this idea. Jungkook would be essentially putting himself in danger. Namjoon spoke up, "절대 안 돼요! 차민서는 믿을 수 없어요. 이 사진들은 그녀를 감옥에 넣기에 충분합니다." (Absolutely not ! Cha Min-Seo can't be trusted. These photos are enough to put her behind bars.)

Jungkook dismissed their concerned looks as his attention turned to Yoongi. The only person who probably hated Cha Min-Seo more than he did. "What do you think ?" Yoongi smirked as he poured himself some whiskey into a glass from the bar that was on Jungkook' left. "Go for it. The old witch needs to be knocked down a peg."

The conversation ran cold. Jungkook made up his mind. Cha Min-Seo was going to pay.

Cha Min-Seo' Office-- Afternoon

Secretary Oh walked Jungkook to Min-Seo' office. She didn't ask questions. Which he was very appreciative for. It wasn't long before he was let into Min-Seo' office. "Jungkook ah ? What do I owe the pleasure of this visit ?"

Jungkook smiled as he took a seat opposite of Min-Seo' desk. She was scared no doubt that he suddenly came to see her. "우리 의논할 게 좀 있죠?" (We have some things to discuss, don't we ?) Min-Seo decided to indulge him, wanting to find out what exactly was it that he wanted from her.

"Sure. Let's talk," Min-Seo agreed reluctantly with a smile on her face. "I am now your biggest investor, Min-Seo. Don't you think you should be a bit honest with what actually happened during the research period ?", Jungkook asked as he knew she was a bit on edge at the moment. Surprise visits wasn't something she enjoyed at all.

"Why would you want to know that ? That research is confidential for a reason. Even from investors." Min-Seo thought she'd be able to deter him from asking any further questions. "의식적인 진정제요 극저온실은 연구에 필요한 것들을 가두곤 했어요 계속 할까요?" (Conscious sedations. Cryogenic chambers used to trap those you needed for your research. Shall I go on ?) Jungkook wanted her to admit. They'd never get closure if she was super committed to brush him off.

"How ? H-How do you know about any of that ? W-Who told you ?", Min-Seo said as her confident facade began to falter. Her mind was racing. Who was going against her ? Who was breaking the legal obligations of their non-disclosure agreements ? Jungkook sighed dramatically, "I had my suspicions. Things just felt too off when we all woke up, Min-Seo. What had you done ?"

She caved. Cha Min-Seo had completely caved out of terror. She didn't want this getting out to the public. "Those chambers did their jobs... You died within the six reincarnation cycles out of the nine... You woke up when the seventh cycle started... You never completed the last two cycles..."

Little did she know, Jungkook had been recording all of this. Her confession. Her admittance of what she had done & what was the truth behind the research program for NewLife Industries. "그래서 당신은 우리를 돈 때문에 죽게 한 것을 인정합니다, 그렇죠? 당신은 그것에 대해 어떤 양심의 가책을 느끼나요?" (So you admit to letting us die for money, yes ? Do you feel any remorse for that ?), this was the last thing Jungkook wanted to ask. The very last of questions he had for the breaking woman before him.

Min-Seo' eyes were deceivingly tearful as she answered him. "Of course not. You died so that all of us could learn more about the dormant ability of reincarnation. I don't feel bad whatsoever..."

Jungkook soon left after Min-Seo' final confession. He played the recording for everyone before they discussed what they were to do with the recording. However, decisions were made rashly.

Yoongi released the recording to the press with no remorse. There was no turning back now...

What lied ahead for the seven who seemingly can't go past their seventh life cycles ?
