Cross was at the bridge looking at the data on where they were and saw the updates about the Nimitz and her growing fleet.

Cross: Matthew, what is the crew status and fuel?

Matthew: No, sir, but are we close to the Nimitz location that USS Nathan James gave us?

Cross: Good. Tell Nathan James to form with them and follow the admiral's orders.

Matthew: Yes, sir

Cross: And have all fighters and ships to be ready.

Mathew: Can I ask why, sir?

Cross: I have a feeling that something is going to happen...

Then they saw a weird airship start to attack the fleet.

Cross: Battle Station!! Launch all fighters!!

As Cross's fleet was under attack by an unknown enemy. Back to Joey and Anastasia, we're on the bridge talking about the event.

Joey: I can't believe that Cross is here.

Anastasia: What if he was brought here for a reason?

Then Sam rushed into the room.

Joey: What is it?

Sam: Sir, we got word from the Nimitz that an unknown enemy attacks the independence and her fleet.

Joey: Do you have the location?!

Sam: The captain told me that he is sending all his fighters to support the independence, and our carriers are well.

Joey: Order all ships to get in to battle station now!! i will not lose my  brother!!

Sam: Yes, sir 

Back to Cross fleet.

Cross: What the hell is that thing?!

Mathew: I have no idea it got to be the ugly thing  I have  seen.

Cross: Have you contacted  the Nimitz!!

Mathew: yes sir they are 3 hours away.

Cross: This battle may be over in 2..  launch all fighters protect for supply ships  tell all destroyer to focus  fire on the close airship.

Mathew: Aye, sir

Cross: it can't  get worse  than this.

Cora: Sir, we lost the port engine!!

Cross: Great. Anything  else?

Jack: they call reinforcement!!

Cross: Joey, I swear to go if you don't  get your metal ass over  here, I swear I will hunt you for the rest of your life!!!

Then something  shot at the airship with one shot, and it came down.

Cross: What the hell?!? Who took that shot??!

Cora: unknown, sir.. wait, uss john paul jones report a..

Cross; what?

Cora:a small ship.. it's an ironclad

Cross: You're joking.

Cora: No, sir.

Cross: Delvagrus...

Cora: Who?

Cross: later tell all fighters. To form up  and  give cover  for that ship!!

Cora: Sir, are you sure  that is wise? we don't know who it is..

Cross: That is the US monitor part of the union during  the Civil War.. is she alone?

James: Sir, how do Delvagrus we are on his side?

Cross: Trust  me, he knows all he is like what  you kids call it... a jedi

James: joking, right?

Cross:No.. also, is she alone?

Cora: another  ironclad just. Join the party. And battle. Group  11 has arrived.

Cross: Good.

On bord the Atlas airship

Captain: Why haven't  we destroyed  that little ship!!!

Crew 1: We can't find it; it's small, and the other ship shoots our missile down.

Captain: What about  the platform  ship?!?

Crew member 2: it looks  like their  having trouble  with their engine..

Captain: Then focus  fire  on that!! I will. Not go  back and tell general that I don't  sink one ship!!

Crew member 3: Sir, they are dead  in the water. we can't  it's wrong..

Captain: Do what you are told!!!

Crew member 3: Aye, sir.

Then, all the airship  was aiming  at the independence.

Cora: Sir, they  have a lock on us. Sir, what should  we do?! Sir!!

Cross: All hands brace..

Cross and the crew  were waiting for the impact but heard an explosion to see the airship in flames  going  down.

Cora: we are being  contacted by..

Cross: Who?

Cora: admiral Jordan.

Cross: put him through.

Cora: Yes, sir.

Then cross hears his brother.

Joey: it looks  like I had to save  your ass again.

Cross: it good  to hear you.. but I need  to see  you in person and bring Delvagrus, Anastasia, with you.

Joey: Okay, see you soon, little  brother.

Then the call ended.

Cross: james have a boat  go the monitor to get Delvagrus and brought  back here and tell the crew to show respect  to them when they come aboard they earn our respect.

James: Aye, sir..

Cross: Cora, how many  did we lose?

Cora: we lost only  three fighters, but  we found  them, and our ships  suffered  heavy  damage

Cross: You should  get some rest.

Cora: I am fine, dad.

Cross: I promise  your mother  I keep  you safe, so go get some rest that is an order first  lieutenant.

Cora: Can I at least meet  Uncle  Joey. I heard  stories  about  him..

Cross: Okay, you can stay.. everyone  else clears the bridge.

Everyone  leaves, and Joey, Anastasia, and Delvagrus came in

Joey: So you became  captain. A fleet  under your  command... you will  make a fine admiral one day.

Cross: I learned  from the best bro.

Anastasia: Who is this cross?

Cross: This is my daughter Cora.

Cora: Hello.. I can't  believe  I  am meeting  you. I'll have a feeling better and you heard  so  much  about  you all.

Delvagrus: All good, I hope.

Cora: Yes sir.

Anastasia: I am glad we are here in the same room in all but do anyone know  where we are?

Cross: I had my fighters recon this place  and we found  out we aren't  on our world it's something else. Cora pull up the data  we gather

Cora went to the computer and showed everyone  in the room the map of remnant.

Delvagrus: now it makes sense  now. But why different era of warships?

Anastasia: I believe something or someone has put us here.

Cross: to do what?? I almost  lost my ship to an unknown enemy and men.

Joey:Well first  thing we have to find  a port so we can repair  the ships and to find out if we are the only  ones that came here.

Cross: maverick  and goose reported in they said  they may have a good  location for our ships to go.

Joey: where?

Cross: about southwest  of our location.

Delvagrus: Can your  ship make it there?

Cross: I have my men working  on the repair right now. But my deck is intact. I can send fighters.

Joey: I am not leaving  you  alone.

Cross: my ship can defend  itself

Joey: I understand  that Cross  but want you  and your crew safe.

Cross: your going  to need all the fire power  so take my fleet  with battle group  11.

Joey: I am taking  the other  battleship along  wit the ironclad and Anastasia fleet. I want  you and the others  damage  ships  to stay here with battle group  11.

Cross: fine..

Cross walks out the room.

Anastasia: he hasn't  changed.

Joey: it can't  be helped.i understand  he wants to help but it's his ships is heavily  damaged and his fleet I want to leave  my fleet with him just  for protection

Delvagrus:plus  we don't  know when our new friends  want to come back for another  round.

Anastasia: you both know cross is just trying  to get your respect.

Joey:He has my respect right now I ju want him safe.

Anastasia: Is it because of what that captain  told  you about  your fate?

Joey: yes but its more  than that. It's true  I do want Cross's help but what happened  if I send  them into battle we can't  protect  them.

Delvagrus: Joey is right. He wants  cross  to be safe and his fleet  to be full strength. Also I noticed  how cross   has changed  the last time I saw him. He is afraid  to lose one of us.

Joey: that is not going  to happen this time I will make sure of it. I Will meet  you at the location

They all went back to their ships and sailed to they location  of this base. As they did cross was back on the bridge looking  at the map.

Cross:I didn't need to get their approval he is that scared to lose me? I guess. I never  thought  of it in Joey prospective.
