After the agreement that the US forces could dock at Menagerie as they did, Joey and his forces helped them secure the island and the sea from Grimm's threat. As they did, word got around that the white fangs had a new Allied, and they changed their ways. Instead of attacking villages, they helped the people even if they were human due to their deal with Joey. If they were going to be part of their military, they had to stop attacking humans and no longer steal. But they weren't the only ones who had a new ally, somewhere at an Atlassian research lab where they were working on someone.

Ironwood: Any updates on him?

Medic: we were able to stop the bleeding and implant the chip that you requested, but we are worried about the injuries from the fall...

Irons: do we pay you to worry about this?

Medic: No..

Irons: then make sure he is alive he may be the key to unlocking the secrets of this new group, and with him, we can bring them to their knees.

Ironwood: but first, we have to make sure he survives, and we need to make a good story about why he is here.

Irons: oh, don't worry about that. I got that taken care of.

Ironwood: you have how?

Irons: I had created a fake identity for him here. Could you take a look?

Ironwood looks at the data pad.

Irons: she volunteered to do this.

Ironwood: okay i will take this to change of command and to get their approval.

Iron: i will keep him alive and get him to be on our side so we can use him.

 Ironwood: okay Ill talk to the council as well wish me luck brother.

As ironwood walks off to talk to the council and to the higher ups about the plan that him and his brother came up with to use cross to find out more about this new group that showed up and took down a cruiser and taken an island that belonged to the white fangs.

Researcher: sir we were able to break in to the armor systems and memory logs on the data pad he has.

Irons: good let me see it.

As the researcher showed him the information about cross's ship information's, the fleet location, their past movements and what the capable of every battleships, cruisers, destroyers and subs 

Irons: this information is good get this to the general and tell him  we can use these plans to build these ships and aircraft.

Researcher: yes sir.

as he runs off to find the general to give him this information Irons was looking at cross and he smiled because he was one step closer to get what he wanted.

back at Menagerie where Cora was training with Delvagrus and Danie on sword combat.

Delvargrus: that will be all for today cora but you still need to work on your stance.

Danie: also your mind is somewhere else were... its about your father isn't.

Cora: yes i can't shake the idea that he is still alive.

Delvargus: i know how you feel but we have been looking for him but we couldn't find him yet 

Danie: that doesn't mean that we gave up looking for him Cora... we will find him Cora you have my word.

Cora: never make a promise that you can't keep.. my father told me that.

Delvargus: we know Cora but we will find him it will just take time besides you have to keep your head up okay.

Danie: how's your mother dealing with this.

Cora: she doing fine or i think she is..

Delvargus: well if you or your mother needs anything just let us know.

Cora: i will..

she walks off  as she did she saw joey  walking to her.

Cora: Uncle joey how are you doing?

Joey: im fine just tired..

Cora: i can tell.. how's the fleet doing has the locals alright for us being here? 

Joey: they are okay with us being here and they agree with the terms that we gave them so yes.

Cora: well that is good to hear and also did you find my father yet?

Joey: no we haven't yet but we are still looking

Cora: thank you also when is my ship ready to be deployed yet?

Joey: she almost ready and we got  the crew was hand picked by your father before he left for the last mission...also he was the one  that wanted  you take command of the submarine.

Cora: I didn't know that... i thought that he just wanted me be by his side.

Joey: he did all he wanted to protect his daughter but he was also waiting for the right moment to give you your own command also he wanted to give you this.

Cora took it and she looks at it and she took off her old bars and put on the new captain bars as she did she felt a little pride that she has the same rank as her father and her mother but she had tears and she hugged joey.

joey: its okay little one let it all out.

As joey hugged cora she was letting her emotions all out of the death of her father and that he was looking out for her and gave her command of own ship and crew.
