    I was pushing my hair back when the door opened, the same blonde that had treated me days ago entered and quickly rushed to my side. "Listen, my father is out - so I'm going to help you escape here." She says, and I look at her with a confused gaze. 

"Why are you helping me?" I question, my voice harsh and rough from not having any fluids in the last couple of days, she handed me a bottle of water quickly. I nodded at her, and twisted the lid before gulping down a large amount of it. 

"Because I don't like what my uncle did, and why my dad is now doing it." She said, and I felt sympathetic towards the girl. I didn't know what she felt like, but I had known her since she was my best friends little sisters, friend. 

"Come on, let's get you out of here." she said, grabbing my arm and hauling me up - I gave her a small smile of gratitude and she nodded before she whisked us out of there - oh how I wished, she didn't get caught in the cross fire that was outside.

        "Where is she Gino?" I heard Hotch's voice ring out in the forest, and I quickly pulled Jade - who's name I had just found out, against my chest and put my finger against my lip, telling her to be quiet. 

"You'll never find her in time, I put cyanide in her water just after she got here - she'll be dying anytime soon." he says, and I felt a cough come along but I needed to be quiet. 

"Where is she you son of a bitch!" I heard Jake shouted, "No, put it down." Jake says once more, and I peeked around to see him holding a gun right at my brothers head. That's when bullets rang out, and I kept a hold of Jade as a silent sob raked against my chest. 

After all, it hurts the most to watch a parent die the most violent's of deaths. Just as she was going to pull away - I started coughing up blood, "Oh no. Kat, look at me - hey, don't close your eyes." She shouts, this probably alerts the agents and my brothers. 

"Hey, hey gorgeous. Open those eyes for me." Derek says, leaning down in front of me. 

"D-Derek, he came out of now-" I coughed up more blood, and Derek put his finger against my lips. 

"Keep your breath. Sometime get EMT's out here, now!" He shouts, and I felt myself drooping off, but Derek had other plans. "Katarina, don't you dare close those eyes on me." He says, clutching my face in between his hands. 

"Is she going to be okay?" I heard Jade ask, and a feminine voice answers.

"Depends on how much poison your dad put into her water bottle," JJ says, and I groaned as I felt more pain shoot through my body. Derek cursed before picking me up into his arms. 

"Can I come with you, I- I can't stand waiting here, just to hear that she has died." Jade asks, and I saw before my eyes close, JJ Nodding at her.

                "She's very weak," A doctor says from beside me, as I awoke with beeping noises beside me. "The concentration of poison in the water bottle she was given was a lot - if you hadn't gotten her here faster. She would've died." He says, and that's when I spotted the African American male. 

"D-Derek?" I questioned, my voice still hoarse but it was better than it was. 

"Hey, you're going to be okay. Everything is going to be alright." He says, gripping my hand and I let myself smile at him lightly as he squeezed my hand. "Thanks doctor." He says, and the male nods before leaving the room.

"Is Jade alright?" I asked and Derek let out a chuckle.

"You almost died, and you're asking if the killers daughter is alright?" He let out a laugh, before I glared at him - causing him to throw his hands up in surrender. "She's alright, shaken up - she wants to make sure you're alright." He says, and I gnaw on my bottom lip. 

"Is she outside?" I question and he nods, "Can you send her in?" I question and he nods before standing up and pressing a kiss against my forehead. He walked out and I closed my eyes before I heard heels hitting against the floor.

"Oh thank god!" Jade says, and I open my eyes to see the blonde girl - who had red puffy eyes, it was obvious she had been crying. "I thought you were going to die, I couldn't handle that." She says, and I looked at her confused. 

"We used to be friends because of Leah and Louise." She says, and that's when everything came back, and I opened my arms for her to give me a hug - knowing she desperately needed one at this moment in time. 

"This is not your fault alright?" I say, rhetorically to her. "Your father loved you, but he was more keen on revenge against my family." I say, and she nods silently as a silent tear rolled down her cheek and I sighed before pulling her closer to me. 

"We're leaving," Derek says, leaning against my door - it had been three hours, and Jade had fallen asleep beside me. I managed to untangle her from beside me and I stood up - grabbing the IV line so I could walk closer to the agent that I had helped me through a lot. 

"I'm going to miss you," I say, and he smiles lightly at me as I caress his cheek - my hands still warm from hugging Jade lightly. He holds my hand, taking it down to his lips and pressed a kiss against it. 

His hand cupped my face gently, and I looked back at Jade to make sure she was asleep. He leaned closer to me, before his lips brushed mine and I smiled, pulling him closer to me and connecting our lips. The sparks I had felt for almost a month, came swarming in my stomach, and a smile edged on my lips when we pulled away. 

"Be safe." He whispered and I let out a chuckle as I wrap my arms around his neck.

"No promises," I say, and he shakes his head before giving me a quick kiss and leaving the hospital room. 

"You like him, don't you?" Jade questioned, and I jumped up - shocked.

"Bloody hell, how long have you been awake?" I questioned her, and she smiled. 

"The whole time, now  - do you like him, or not?" She questioned me, tilting her head to the side and I looked down at the floor before silently nodding my head - and looking back as to make sure he didn't come popping out of the doorway and just say it was some silly joke but I knew he had his job to do and I understood that.
