Katie Pov
I tried so hard not to ask my brother what had happened today at school that he couldn't tell me but I just waited to her it from him. Maybe it's something about a surprise maybe he was saying he got a scholarship for football maybe he had a girlfriend that he doesn't want me to know about. Well I guess I should talk to him about his day and maybe he'll tell me. I guess maybe he's buying me a car or food I love food I am a candy fanatic except almond joys I hate them I hate coconut gross.

Alec POV
It's not that I don't want to tell Katie it's just that I don't know what she's gonna say I don't want her to judge me I want her to accept me for who I am I don't want her to not be able to come to me just because of this situation. This is the problem I'm having at school I can't just be myself because I get judged everywhere u go it's so annoying and heartbreaking. It's so cruel that just because of one thing. Well it's awkward not being able to tell or talk to anyone because you don't want them to judge me. Well maybe I should ask Katie how her day was that should get my mind off this subject.
Simultaneously we both said so how's your day laughing it off Katie said you go first Alec trying to figure out if he'll tell her what's going on. Alec said Football practice was hard we did conditioning and drills because we have states next week which I meant to ask you do u want to come you can bring some friend it could be a road trip because it's all the way in California. Katie said if I don't have any meets you have a deal I would love to have a road trip with my big bro. Katie said anything else going on that you want to tell me I mean share with me trying not to sound so alarming. Alec said no but we need to go grocery shopping because we don't have any food we can go after practice tomorrow. Katie said okay well in need to clean the kitchen and catch up on my show do u want to watch Ghost adventures later. Alec said yeah that's my show we can eat popcorn with M&Ms and drink Caprisuns.

The Next Day
Katie's POV
  Thank God It's Friday, I don't have practice  because me and my brother are going on a road trip and we're leaving today at noon. I'm so excited because we need some bonding and so I can figure out what he's not telling me. Maybe he will tell me maybe he won't as I'm talking to myself I walked into this cute guy and dropped all my books and papers. OMG he's so cute his name is Ashton Riley Lajoie. He is the most popular kid in the school and he's on the same football team as my brother.
Hi Katie, I'm so sorry I was in a rush to get to practice meeting. Are you Alec sister he's an amazing Quarterback said Ashton. Ye..ah I'm Alec sisters. I'm so sorry for running into you I should have watched were u was going. Do u know what time practice ends because me and Alec are suppose to be going to California for states and we really need to pack said Katie. Ashton was no its my fault I shouldn't have been in such a hurry for practice. Your going to states with Alec me too. Alec said it was alright to ride with you guys hope that's okay hope I'm not intruding or anything. No it's okay she said in a flirtatious way. Ashton said I think practice ends at 3:45. Thank you so much she said.

Katie's POV
OMG he's so freakin attractive I can't believe I'm going on a long road trip with him. This is my chance to get to know him and maybe be more than just Alec sister. I hope that we have so much fun and take pictures and just be kids not worry about adults and school. 3 weeks of relaxation with my brother and the kid I've had a crush on since the 5th grade. He's in 11th grade with me but in the varsity team with my brother. He may be a jock but he's also into a lot of things interested in such as music, reading, sports, and photography. We are in photography class together and we take amazing pictures together of the school and even of nature and beaches. We are some what friends I wish he notice me more, but a girl can only dream.

Katie seen her best friend Claire in the hall before they were heading gym Katie stopped her and said hi. Hey, Claire how are you said Katie. Claire said I'm good on my way to gym was just about  to go and find you were playing. Volleyball. We have so many preps in my class that it makes me want to punch somebody in the face. I have a question for you Claire would you think your mom would let you go on vacation with me, my brother, and Ashton said Katie. Claire was like well I'll have to ask and omg Ashton is your crush that you've had since the 5th grade mhmm. I know right I'm so excited maybe he'll notice me. Well we're leaving tonight some after gym we can go to your house and ask hope u can go said Katie.

As they started walking back to Katie's car they saw Ashton and they started talking about the road trip asking how long we were staying hoping that we have fun. Ashton can u drive me to Claire's house to see if she can come with us I don't want to be the only girl.  Ashton was like Oh you don't want to hang with me with his big beautiful eyes and smile. Lol I'm just kidding y'all I'll take y'all just let me shower really quickly. Okay we'll be down stairs said Katie.
2 hours later
Finally your done did you go to Narnia gosh. We leave in 2 hours we still need to ask her parents Katie said. I was cleaning myself because we have a long road trip ahead of us in sorry Ashton said. We arrived at Claire's house her parents said yes so we went to her room and started packing. So Katie are you and Ashton trying to get in each other's pants because y'all argue like a married couple said Claire. Katie's face blushing No I'm just want to be his friend somebody that he notices. Claire said mhmm whatever you say winking and laughing.

Ashton's POV
Omg I can't believe that I'm going on a road trip with Alec's sisters she's really pretty. She has a great personality and she's so funny but her smile brightens up the room like I'm the only one in it. I hope this isn't awkward that I'm going because I just want to have fun and really get to know her and win states. I also want to having some bonding time with my friend because he's like my brother I would die for him. I can't believe I'm talking to myself about my best friends sister. It's so hard not to because she just so phenomenal. I can't believe that her brother won't tell her the secret it's not even that bad. Katie came back and All I could do was smile and glare at her with my greenish hazel eyes.
