Scorpius was excitedly for today. He was going to get to spend a whole day with Albus but he had to tell him. He ate breakfast and went to get ready before Albus got there.

He finished just in time because Albus was outside waiting for someone to open the door. He watched from his window as his mother opened the door for his friend. He ran down stairs.

"I'll go see if Scorpius is ready." his mother said as he rushed down the stairs, "it seems like he's ready, I better go and finish getting ready myself."

Albus waved at Scorpius, "hey, sorry I couldn't make it yesterday."

Scorpius smiled walking over to him and grabbing his bag, "no worries, at least we have today for ourselves. Let's put your bag in my room."

Albus followed Scorpius up to his bedroom where he gently placed the bag on the bed. Albus couldn't help but notice that Scorpius was wearing his sweater again, goodness he looked adorable. Scorpius blushed when he noticed Albus was looking at him, "what?"

"oh umm nothing. Just thinking." Albus looked down at his feet, "so what's today's plan?"

Scorpius shrugged, "we could talk outside under the tree. Could be a good change in scenery."

Albus nodded, "yeah, that sounds good."

Scorpius was tired of hearing stories of them just being friends. Specially when he looked so cute, it made his heart race. He scooted closer to Albus, "Hey Al, can I ask you something important?"

Albus turned to him giving him a charming smile, "of course you can."

Scorpius bit his lip, it was now or never. He placed a gentle hand on the other's cheek and kissed him softly. Albus immediately melted into him putting a hand on Scorpius' waist to pull him closer. Scorpius felt happy getting new flashes of memories. Albus pushed him away lightly, he knew his boyfriend still didn't remember things making everything feel wrong. Scorpius frowned, "what's wrong?"

Albus felt torn, he wanted to kiss him again and just hold him but he also felt guilty even if he didn't make the first move. Scorpius gave him another quick kiss, "Al I saw some pictures and you don't know how incredibly happy I am that I am in fact your boyfriend. I know it's weird because I don't remember things but please know that I want this. I want you. I know you tried to protect me but please let me know more about us and not as just friends. I want to know about our relationship and I want to be able to hold you while you tell me about us. It might be the only thing I need to be able to remember everything. Please. "

Albus bit his lip, "you promise this isn't because you feel pressured to be with me?"

Scorpius nodded scooting even closer to Albus, "I really do want this."

Albus wrapped one arm around him. Scorpius placed his head in Al's shoulder and smiled, this felt familiar, this felt safe. Albus continued talking about some stories before they got bored and decided to lay down on the grass.

Scorpius had his head on the other's chest, "you know, when we kissed I got a few flashes of memories. My favorite one is remembering that his is your sweater. No wonder why I was drawn to it so much."

Albus smiled, "Scorp I really am sorry for keeping this from you."

Scorpius shook his head, "I understand why you did it Al. I would have done the same." He threw and arm around Albus, "I like this."

Albus chuckled, Scorpius was the best boyfriend he could ever ask for,he really missed this. Just having his boyfriend back in his arms made his heart happy. "I like this too."

Scorpius giggled, "I think this is the thing I need. I don't feel so empty, I still need to regain memories to feel whole but this makes it better."

Albus kissed his forehead, "Scorp you might not be able to remember everything and that's alright but you do need to keep that in mind." Scorpius frowned, he wanted to remember everything. Albus gave him a tight hug, "not even I remembered everything Scorp. Besides you have me and your parents."

They stayed intertwined until Astoria called them over for lunch. Still Scorpius seemed very determined to have some sort of physical contact with Albus. Albus didn't mind at all, he knew Scorpius always did that when he was nervous, scared or worried and he also knew he couldn't ask him about it directly until they were alone again.

Draco tried hiding his smile when he noticed Scorpius being so close to Albus again. It was a familiar sight, he was sure his son had already talked to him about what he felt. "How are you boys doing?"

Astoria smirked at her husband, he was acting so oblivious. Scorpius grinned, "we're great! It's a beautiful day isn't it?"

Draco chuckled, "it really is. Your mother and I were actually going to go shopping, do you two want to come or do you want to stay here?"

Albus turned to Scorpius waiting for him to answer. Scorpius didn't feel like being around many people just yet, he wanted to stay in the mannor for a bit longer. He looked over at Albus to see if he wanted to go, if he did then he would go but he saw Albus was waiting for him to decide. "I still think it's best for me to stay here for a bit more."

Draco gave him a gentle fatherly smile, "that's not a problem Scorp."

They finished eating and his parents got ready to leave. Scorpius was sitting in the couch as he waited for Albus to put a movie on. Albus walked back to the couch and started playing the movie.

Scorpius immediately cuddled next to Albus smiling sweetly at him. Albus kissed his forehead, "is there anything worrying you Scorp? Don't get me wrong, I've been dying to have you back in my arms but usually you're this touchy when something is bothering you."

"it's just that I feel like I just got you back and it feel like a beautiful dream but I'm scared that if I let go I will lose you and my memories of you again. I don't want to lose you Al." Scorpius felt embarrassed by the truth. Sure he was happy and so in love with Albus and he enjoyed this but he was also afraid. What if when he let's go this time he just loses his memory again but this time he won't remember Albus? He did cause his own memory loss so who could guarantee it wouldn't happen again?

Albus leaned in to give him a gentle kiss in the lips snapping him out of his thoughts. "I promise that I'm always going to be here for you Scorp."

Scorpius leaned in for another kiss, "thank you and thank you for putting my favorite movie on."

Albus grinned, "you remember this movie?"

Scorpius nodded, "we always watch it together so maybe that's why. I like watching things with you, gives me a great excuse to cuddle with you." Albus rolled his eyes playfully at him, Scorpius knew he didn't need an excuse to cuddle with him, he was just saying it.

They finished watching the movie when Scorpius' parents returned with some bags. Scorpius and Albus helped them put some things away in the kitchen, the Malfoy family had grown to like doing some simple things the muggle way. Scorpius began talking about more things he remembered as they put things away. Albus felt bubbly inside, maybe his boyfriend was right about needing the truth about them to remember things. Here he was remembering very specific moments with Albus and his parents.

The rest of the day they spent it all together playing muggle games Albus and Hermione had taught them until dinner time. Then after dinner the boys went to get ready for bed.

Scorpius laid awake on Albus's chest as his boyfriend played with his hair. He was still nervous but having Al there on him.

"Scorp, do you want to see something cool?" Albus whispered to him.

Scorpius sat up and nodded excitedly. Albus grinned, "you have to trust me alright?" Scorpius smiled, he would happily trust him with anything. Albus stood up and took Scorp's broom out. Scorpius looked at him frightened, the last time he had been on that he lost his whole memory. Albus have him and encouraging smile, "I'll protect you, I promise."

Scorpius took his hand and got on the broom, Albus got behind him and made sure his boyfriend was secured and flew out.

Scorpius opened his eyes once they were in the air and smiled, everything looked beautiful. Albus continued the steady flight seeing that his boyfriend was enjoying it but soon he stopped on top of the roof and helped Scorpius off.

They sat down togetherad admiring the stars above them. "We came up here when you asked me to be your boyfriend, right?" Scorpius asked.

Albus nodded, "we did. I asked you right here. It's nice and calm up here."
Scorpius hummed in agreement and kissed his cheek happily. Albus turned to him and kissed his forehead, "I hope you know that even if you don't remember everything I'm still here with you," he leaned in, "I'm never going to give you up, never going to let you down, never gonna run around and desert you."

Scorpius giggled, "you're a dork."

Albus shrugged, "I'm your dork, now kiss me."
