The next morning they went back to the hospital. Draco told them that Scorpius was stable but needed rest.

They waited a few hours before the doctor came for Draco and Astoria. Astoria held her hand out for Albus, "come Al, he would want to see you too."

Albus held onto her hand feeling his feet heavy as they walked toward the room Scorpius was in.

When they got there the doctor looked at them and sighed. "Scorpius doesn't remember anything. We've tried every spell but it doesn't seem to be working. We believe that he blocked his memories on the fall, try to not overwhelm him."

Albus looked at his boyfriend's dad concerned. Draco placed a gentle hand on his shoulder, "but he'll remember everything with time right?"

The doctor sighed, "yes but there's also a possibility he won't remember everything or anything at all."

Albus felt his heart break, there was a possibility that the most important person in his life wouldn't remember him? He knew his boyfriend's parents were also heartbroken to hear that but they all had to stay strong for Scorpius.

They walked into the room, there was another doctor talking with Scorpius. It didn't take long for him to notice the three people who walked into his room. "Hi?"

Astoria smiled at his son, "hello son, how do you feel?"

Scorpius nodded guessing the other adult was also his parent, "weird, I didn't even remember my own mother." he chuckled hoping that would lighten the mood. He already felt weird about everything, he didn't want to feel stressed or make anyone even more worried.

Astoria forced a laugh sitting next to her son, "Don't worry Scorp, well figure things out together and hopefully you'll remember."

Draco walked over to him as well and sat done on the other side, "We're all here for you Scorp, there's no rush."

Scorpius smiled feeling at ease with his parents by his side but the other boy caught his attention. "and who are you?"

Everyone turned to look at Albus, he swallowed back a knot that was forming in his throat. "I'm Albus Potter, I'm your friend." he forced a smile. Astoria frowned but she didn't say anything. Albus walked closer, "I just wanted to see how you were man and I'm very happy you're alright."

There was a pause, Albus felt like he needed to cry but it would only overwhelm Scorpius. He cleared his throat, "well I really must go and see if my father needs anything. Bye."

Scorpius waved goodbye at him as Albus rushed out. He luckily ran into his dad as he started to cry. Harry brought him in for a tight hug, "Al what's wrong?"

"He doesn't remember me dad." Albus said between sobs. "I had to leave, I couldn't let him see me like this. It would just overwhelm him and I don't know. I just... I don't know."

Harry held his son until he let go on his own. "Can we please go home dad?" Albus asked wiping his face.

Harry nodded, "of course Al. I'll just send a letter later to Malfoy apologizing for leaving without saying anything."

Albus had stayed in his room for the past two days. He only ate when his sister talked him into it.

"knock knock" It was James.

"come in."

James opened the door and walked over to the bed jumping in next to him. "talk to me Al. You've been here alone, come on."

Albus hugged his blanket close to him, "it's like the universe has broken us up. He's here and I should be happy he's alright but he just doesn't even know who I am."

"well," James sat up, "I found out that a certain blond is already out of the hospital and in his house. Maybe you should go visit. He won't remember you if you just stay locked up in here. You told him you're his friend so then go be his friend. If he doesn't remember anything about your relationship you can have him fall for you again. You could use your romantic lines again, they worked last time so they'll work again. "

Albus groaned, he hates when his brother was right. James laughed at him, "if you go now I'll clean your room, deal?"

"I need to get ready first." Albus stood up and stretched, "thank you James."

James stood up smiling, "no problem, don't like to see my little brother sad."

Albus was nervous but he had to try for Scorpius.
