T H I R T Y - O N E | Cookies 'n' Cream

Soulmates aren't just lovers

*****

I ended up getting cookies 'n' cream. What can I say, it just called out my name. We were all currently squashed into a small booth in the corner of our favourite parlour.

"I swear you purposely gave me the worst seat" I commented taking in a spoonful of ice-cream. I was squeezed into the corner between a wall and Elliot whereas everyone else seemed to have all the space in the world.

"Shush" Elliot shushed me shoving a spoonful of his own ice-cream into my mouth making me scowl. I pouted looking away from him, focusing on my ice-cream instead, ignoring the conversation blooming between Jacob, Sira and Alyssa.

"Is someone upset?" Elliot kidded with me pushing his shoulder against mine.

"Piss off" I muttered ignoring him.

"Piss off" Elliot mocked my accent with a laugh. I turned around to glare at him but didn't say anything.

"You planning to ignore me?" Elliot smirked leaning in closer. I cleared my throat moving away from him.

"Let's see how long that lasts" he commented running his palm over my thigh. I swallowed the lump in my throat playing with my ice-cream as though it was the most interesting thing in this place. Yet, I swear they way Elliot was looking at me right now even made my ice-cream melt. As his hand pressed closer and closer to my forbidden areas I couldn't help but stare at the trio with us, who seemed to be far to occupied with a joke on Sira's phone. Braving myself a little, I gathered the courage to look up at Elliot who also was also looking through Sira's phone with the rest.

"Elliot" I breathed out.

"Yes?" he smiled moving to look at me. All words fell short once we made eye contact so he just laughed turning away again yet his hands didn't stop. His rough hand finally settled over my leggings in a place which made me gasp. Elliot basked in my reaction instantly morphing his hand into a fist, using his knuckles to rub small circles.

My back instantly straightened, one of my hands jumping to grip onto the table, the other resting on Elliot's hand.

"What about the next one?" Elliot murmured looking at Jacob who continued to scroll through his phone. With every second that passed, my breathing seemed to get heavier, my thighs clenching together.

"Anyway, shall we leave?" Elliot asked the group pulling his hand away so fast I nearly protested. Nearly. Everyone slowly climbed out of the booth making their way outside, Elliot following behind them, waiting for me at the end of the booth.

"I hate you so much" I scowled at him pushing him away before walking ahead of him.

"Aw, don't say that" Elliot ran up behind me resting his hand on the small of my back. I shook him off sitting in the car making him laugh.

"Good game, babe. I told you that you'd lose" He laughed taking a seat next to me.

"Who said it was over?" I smiled at him sarcastically.

"Can't wait" he winked resting his head against the back rest. Ugh he was so beautiful. The ride home was a quiet ride. Jacob dropped Elliot and I off to our door before driving Sira and Alyssa home. Elliot unlocked the front door leading me inside.

"Where's Elle?" I asked Elliot following in behind him.

"Probably in her room" Elliot shrugged turning around to grab my arm pulling me to him.

"Now, where were we?" he asked resting his face between my neck and shoulder, laying small sweet kisses.

"Nowhere" I pushed him away making my way to the kitchen filling up a glass with iced water. My body was on fire and it hadn't stopped since leaving the ice-cream parlour.

"You sure?" Elliot asked walking up behind slowly wrapping his arms around my waist settling me against him. He wants a game? I'll give him a game. My eyes quickly darted to the kitchen clock but I shuffled in his arms turning around.

"Maybe" I whispered locking my arms around his neck. Elliot's smirk instantly fell, his tongue darting out to lick his lips.

"Hi" I whispered smiling up at him.

"Hey" He whispered back. God, I loved this man. I pulled him down laying my lips on his before quickly pulling away.

"You just gonna stand there?" I laughed.

"Am I fucks" he groaned using him arms to lift me up, I laughed wrapping my legs around his waist as he walked us to the living room, throwing us down onto the couch. I laughed pulling him on top of me laying my lips on him once again. With each passing moment a little more of my soul intertwined with Elliot's and I wouldn't change it even a little.

Elliot's hands ran up my ribs over my shirt, before he tucked them under, his lips resting against my neck.

"You sure about this?" he whispered laying small butterfly kisses up my jaw.

'you sure about this' I blinked back the surprise in my eyes.

"I don't want anything more" I slowly whispered back to him for the second time. Elliot immediately pulled back staring down at me.

"Babe" he grinned down at me and I couldn't help but smile up at him.

"This isn't our first time, is it?" I questioned him cupping his face in my palms. Elliot only shook his head in return. I truly had given everything to Elliot before everything came crashing down.

"I love you" Elliot said before claiming my lips for the nth time today. I held no protest wrapping my legs tighter around him, pulling him closer than ever. I wanted to play a game but I was the one losing.

"Elliot?" A shrill voice cut out from the doorway. My eyes shot open, my legs automatically untangling themselves from Elliot, kicking him off me.

"For fucks sake" Elliot muttered as I pulled my shirt down.

"Ooops" I laughed looking at a dishevelled Elliot.

"You planned this" Elliot glared at me standing up.

"I would never" I gasped dramatically. Mr and Mrs Black always got home around the same time every evening, so it wasn't hard playing around for a while. Just enough to leave Elliot frustrated.

"I hate you" Elliot muttered sitting back on the couch.

"Love you too" I threw Elliot a flying kiss before going to Greet Elaine at the door.

"You hungry, kiddo?" David asked looking at me and then at Elliot who followed behind me.

"Starving" Elliot replied and I could feel his gaze burning the back of my head.

"Great, we bought pizza. Jess, be a sweetheart and get Elle for me" Elaine said setting out the pizza on the table. I complied turning on my heels calling out for Elle. Following Elle down the stairs and through the kitchen doors, I couldn't help but pause for a second taking in everything around me. I was happy. I was truly happy with everything and everyone in my life right now and I couldn't be more thankful for it.

"You coming, baby?" Elliot asked patting the seat next him.

I truly was where I needed to be.
