S I X | Jasmine & Aladdin

Speak beautiful things

*****

Something had shifted between Elliot and I since our hug last night. Elliot and I didn't say much but manged to express a lot.  I was grateful for that hug, it had calmed me down letting me to sleep like a baby the whole night. Since it was a Saturday I slept in until Elle ran into my room shaking me awake.

I yawned when I entered the kitchen. Elle was sitting at the counter eating a bite pancakes whilst doing some homework.  She smiled at me when she saw me enter.

"Elliot made pancakes for you too before he left" she said pointing at the second plate on the table. I took the seat in front of her eyeing the plate.

"Where did he go?" I questioned digging into the pancakes. She shrugged mumbling something about practice, going back to her homework. I quickly finished eating before washing the dishes dragging Elle to the living room.

"You can do your homework later, right now it's me and you time" I threw myself onto the couch with Elle in tow.

"What do you want to do?" I asked Elle as she jumped in excitement. She sat there thinking for a while before finally speaking up.

"I want to know more about you" She finally said. She crossed her legs getting comfortable on the sofa.

"Hmm, well, what do you want to know?" I asked copying the way she was sat.

"What's it like being famous" I laughed at Elle's expression as she looked at me with so much adoration.

"I'm not famous, Elle" I shook my head at her slightly. Her eyebrows furrowed slightly as she stared at me.

"You have nearly 4 million combined followers. That means nearly 4 million people know who you are. I'd say you're pretty famous" She laughed shuffling closer to me.

"Shall we watch some of your videos?"

"If you want" Elle jumped off the couch grabbing her tablet syncing it to the TV playing some of my covers. We eventually let go of my covers as we started searching YouTube watching different compilations.

"So, what now?" I asked turning the TV off.

"Well, I know you said no homework but I have to recreate a Disney scene for my drama class. We could do that? I need actors" she looked up at me in question.

"So what do I have to do?" Elle grinned at my reply running out of the room dialling a number on the landline. I heard a distant conversation before Elle ran back in.

"We need to re-create a scene from Aladdin but as if it was set in the modern century" she said sitting on the couch next to me.

"What's my role?" I asked looking at her. She didn't reply but instead continued to look towards the door. She squealed when the front door opened and Elliot stepped into the living room.

"Finally" she groaned pulling at Elliot's hand planting him next to me.

"Can't have a Jasmine without her Aladdin" she grinned cheekily at me. I looked at Elliot for a second before looking back at Elle. I hadn't seen him since yesterday and honestly I didn't know how to react.

"What's the plan?" I got up to stand next to Elle wrapping my arm around her shoulders.

"First, you need to get changed to look like Jasmine and Aladdin. Have you go anything blue?" Elle asked looking up at me. I nodded leaving to throw on my blue jumpsuit. When I came back down Elle was busy setting up Elliot's phone to capture the recording..

"You look really pretty" Elle said looking up at me. A minute later Elliot walked in wearing a white suit.

"Why's Aladdin in a suit?" I asked a laughing Elle. I looked at Elliot, the suit jacket hugging his bulging arms. He looked so good

"My Aladdin wears a suit" is all Elle said and I didn't bother questioning it.

"You're going to re-create Aladdin and Jasmine's first date" Elliot and I followed Elle's instructions without a fight. It had taken us an hour to make everything right for Elle.

"Finally my favourite part" Elle squealed clapping her hands.

"Which is?" I laughed at how happy she was about how this was turning out.

"The kiss, duh" my smile fell when she looked back at her phone. Elliot stiffened next to me and I didn't dare look at him.

"I'm sure we can skip that part, can't we?" I asked Elle kneeling in-front of her. She looked into my eyes a saddened expression falling on her face.

"You don't want to do it?" she whispered as she stepped back. I instantly regretted it moving forward to hold her hands in mine.

"I can do a small peck" I paused for a second "is that okay?" she looked behind me and I'm assuming Elliot said yes when a smile lit up her face. Elle stood in-front of the camera and explained the scene to us. 'Aladdin' finally dropped 'Jasmine' home, before saying goodbye he gets a little push from his carpet pushing him to plant a kiss on 'Jasmine'.

"Until tomorrow princess" Elliot whispered standing across the makeshift balcony staring at me intensely. We didn't move after that. Elliot continued to stare at me intently before I heard Elle groan from behind the camera before she tip-toed behind Elliot giving him a small nudge pushing him closer towards me. My eyes flickered down towards his lips before back up to his eyes. His eyes hadn't shifted from my lips. He stepped a little closer his arm wrapping around my waist. I saw Elle quickly cover her eyes turning the other way. Seeing him so up close I panicked leaning forward pecking him on the lips quickly pulling away. He frowned looking at me leaning forward again. Elliot made my head spin. Very literally. I blinked my eyes trying to ease the blurriness.

"Are you done?" Elle asked her face behind her hands.

"Yeah" my voice was shaking as Elliot looked away his face masked with disappointment. I ignored the banging in my head from the intense emotions and looked at Elle instead.

"Perfect" Elle ran coming to hug me in thanks before running out of the room. The tension in the room was so thick that I had to leave, running to hide in the comfort of my bedroom. It wasn't even five minutes until there a knock on the door. Elliot stood there his arms crossed over his chest - the sleeves of his jacket hugging his every muscle - smirking down at me.

"You see, princess. If I ever kiss someone, it's never like that" he said addressing the sorry excuse of the kiss I gave him downstairs. He pushed himself off the wall walking towards me instinctually making me step back.

"Like you've ever kissed anyone" I scoffed turning around so I didn't meet his heated gaze. I rubbed my temples as if it would help ease my beating heart.

"Is that what you think?" he scoffed back at me. I heard some shuffling before I felt his presence right behind me. He grabbed onto my shoulders turning me around to face him.

"I think it's only right if I proved myself, isn't it?" I took a step back as he took one forward. We  continued to move back step in step until my back hit the glass balcony wall making him smirk even wider. My breathing hitched when he stood only a mere centimetres away from me.

"You're making my head spin" I whispered looking down at his lips. He smiled lightly at my comment.

"Can I?" he asked his eyes flickering to my lips, hesitation flashing through his eyes. Should I let him cross that line and blur everything? Do I let him make the whirlwind of emotions inside me so much worse. But in this moment the logical side of my brain decided to take a leave of absence and let my heart do the deciding. I didn't stop my head from nodding a small yes. That was all Elliot needed to wrap his hands around the back of my neck locking his lips with mine. I stood frozen for a second before I felt him bite my bottom lip, taking it in-between his teeth. Letting out a small gasp, I rested my hand on his jaw pulling him closer. He continued kissing me pulling me as close as he could until my lungs burned for air. He pulled away from me resting his forehead against mine, our heavy breathing filling the air.

"Enough proven?"  he breathed out staring deep into my soul. I had known Elliot for nearly two weeks now but my body was already getting accustomed to his touch, craving his presence. I felt a cold air rush through me when his hands left my face as he stepped away from me.

"I'm going to go now before I do something that you're not ready for" and with that being said he turned on his heel and walked straight out of the door but I didn't miss the grin that lit up on his face.

Nothing significant had happened between Elliot that could have made me feel the way that I'm feeling right now. But two weeks, two weeks was all it took for me to fall for Elliot Black.

What was happening to me.
