Harry's POV

It had been a few days since the auditions, and to my surprise I had gotten more closer to Natalie, singing with her during rehearsals, made me feel free, like I did not carry the weight of the world. It felt like atleast once I could be myself when I am around her. I do not have to uphold an image or anything.she didn't care for one. She was vulnerable with me and I felt the same around her. She trusted me even with the most simple things in the world, and that is what made me like her even more. She could just make me smile, without even saying anything. Her eyes damn those eyes always felt like they were trying to loot me of my leftover self control, I had to steer clear of them at all given circumstances. Whenever she gets nervous she stutters, she thinks it's annoying but I find it quiet adorable.

I knew I was in a relationship with Taylor, but something in me said it was not quiet right. Taylor however felt the need to show everyone around her, that I was her property and we were the power couple at La Marts. With her it was always about putting someone down, it was always being popular and maintaining an image. I decided to call it quits with her, but somewhere in my heart I knew she loved me, and she would be heartbroken if I did that.

My train of thoughts continued, and I was agitated with myself, when my girlfriend happens to show up, think of the devil and it appears, and the devil is in a little black dress.

"Hey stranger!", she calls me a stranger when she's the one who keeps on disappearing.

"Hi." I reply half heartedly knowing well, I can't be sailing on two boats at a time, Nat is innocent, she does not need a complication like me in her life. Although I like her, I have to keep myself out of her life so she can maintain her focus. Whereas Taylor was concerned she was a senior and hence she would be moving out in a few months.This charade would come to an end soon.

"So we are having a party at my place tonight." She informs.

"Ok, another Haylor appearance?" I asked.

" Yep, anyway it's just a few people."

"Ok, I'll be there."

Although I had half a heart to go to Taylor's place but I still decided to go because she was still my girlfriend..... well technically.

At the Party

I arrived at Taylor's house, one of the biggest mansions in Soho, the Swift's were hereditarily rich, one after another generation of unruly rich brats, hence Taylor's behavior and antics were kind of justified. As I entered the lobby I was greeted by a group of her cheerleader friends Karlie, Kendall and Haylee.
Karlie was Liam's girlfriend, while Haylee and Drew were dating, also Niall was present at the party, which made me question what was Taylor's ulterior motive here just calling a few random people.

Taylor and Kendall were discussing about something sitting in the corner of the speakeasy, which Taylor's parents had gifted her as an early graduation present. I don't know why, but I immensely hated Kendall, she never did give me positive vibes, she had tried to hit on me, when I am actually with her best friend. I go over to Liam, Niall and Drew discussing about the forthcoming musical.

"Hey guys thank you all for coming." Taylor announces.

"So I have got a proposal, for all of you here." She continued. While all the boys and girls attentively listened to her. Then in the large home theatre of Taylor's house pops Natalie's picture. "So Miss India here, is trying to become popular, by getting hold of my boyfriend and my step brother." She says.

"Tay— " Niall is cut off by Taylor, " Anyway the proposition is to make her fall in love with anyone of you and break her heart." She continues "And it's open to the girls as well."

"But what is in it for us " cried Kendall.

"Well a load of cash, for starters, and immense popularity." Taylor finishes.

"She hasn't done anything wrong." Liam says.

"That's the point Liam, she is like little Miss Perfect, way to perfect with grades, talent everything which is coming in my way of becoming student body president, hence I need her to be distracted."

That is when it hit me Taylor is trying to spoil Natalie's reputation, maybe that is the reason Niall became friends with Naomi, maybe he is involved in this too. The room was perfectly silent as no one had yet responded to her proposition ,

"I'll do it" .
