They were walking down the beach, listening to the waves hit one another, Chris wasn't able to have many moments like this one, moments of silence and simpleness, the only two things he had truly missed.

"why do the waves always come back at the sand Mr. Evans?" the 8 year old red haired girl asked and Chris looked down at her..mister..there was only one person he liked hearing that word from and it was not this little girl

"Well for starters...you can call me Chris! We're friends remember?" he smiled and the girl nodded

"And for that matter a great person had once told me that even something as big as the ocean needs someone to rely on..like we all do..."

"So the sand...is like..the ocean's boyfriend?" the girl wondered

It took him a moment but Chris nodded, smiling "or girlfriend...I mean scientist haven't really figure out if the sand is a male or female" he joked

"I say!"

the girl stopped walking and looked up at the blue eyed man, crossing her arms

"that the blue strong, big and beautiful ocean is a girl because girls are always stronger and prettier and bigger..." she started explaining and Chris tried to hold back his laugh.
"..and the sand is the boy...the prince that no matter how many times he sees his girl leave he always welcomes her back..." she smiled widely while Chris was looking at her surprised, in a good way, she was as clever as her mother.

"Have you ever been in love...Chris?" her tiny voice brought him back to reality and her question caught him defiantly off guard, he took a moment before kneeling down at her, and looked in her green eyes.
"have you?" he asked trying to avoid the question

"Yes! I'm in love with Bucky Barnes!" the girl admitted "he's a good boy taken by HYDRA but captain America saved him and now he's back with the good ones but we still can't date because I think he's in love with black widow!" she spoke, Chris was nodding his head as she was saying her story, laughing from time to time

"I told you my story...now you gotta tell me yours!" the girl complained
Chris tilted his hand to the side and smiled

"There's this woman...and she's beautiful...And smart and caring...but we can't be together"

"But you're captain America! You can have any girl you want!"

Chris looked at her confused, until know he thought that she thought that captain America and Bucky Barnes were actually real.

"Oh please I'm 10 and in love but not stupid! I know you're an actor!" she explained and Chris laughed again.

"Well as you said I'm an actor...and for her I'm not really captain America...I'm just Chris Evans.."

"That still counts, doesn't it?" the girl asked

"Let's keep walking!" Chris suggested and took her hand in his as he got back up at his feet, continued walking next to the beach.

1 MONTH BEFORE

"Don't you dare make another step mister!" the red haired woman demanded, raising her finger at him and his manager to stop them.

"Here we go again.." the manager, Alec, sighed in disbelief, this girl was driving him crazy every time he would see her.

"Anastasia please, we really have to go--" Chris tried convincing her but she shook her head in negativity

"No sir! I did not spent an hour cleaning this floor so you could walk right through It"

"Anastasia I assure you are shoes are clean-- " Chris continued

"I wasn't talking about your shoes sir! Alec is a good enough dirt by himself!" Anastasia replied smirking widely.

Evans was defiantly not surprised, this wasn't the first time Alec and Anastasia would get in a fight, they would never get along.

"You know what you little--" Chris cut him off before Alec could finish his insulting sentence and gave a smile to both of them

"I just remembered we can go out from the back door..." The blonde haired man suggested so the fight between Anastasia and his manger wouldn't continue "I don't suppose you bother Ani?" he asked ironically

"Go before I change my mind!" Anastasia replied to him playfully, Alec rolled his eyes as Chris dragged him from the hand to go on the backdoor.

"Mum..." a voice sounded from inside the halls and steps started becoming louder and Louder as the little girl ran towards her mum

"Bella no don't!" her mother shouted, trying to warn her but by the time the little red haired girl had stopped she had already stepped with her dirty shoes on the just cleaned floor.

"Oops.." Bella spoke silently with her sweet voice, looking down

"That's my girl!" Alec shouted happily from behind as he had just seen what had happen and Ani turned to look at the dislikable guy behind her

"I thought you left!" she spoke coldly at him

"Forgot my car keys..." Alec smiled brightly, enjoying every second of this moment.

"I suppose you don't mind me walking though your precious floor now..." I mean it doesn't look so precious anymore

He walked past Anastasia and highfived with the little girl that had turned the white floor to brown

"See ya!" he smiled walking out of the house and closing the door behind him

"How did you get her to let you walk through the front door?" Chris asked, smiling when he saw his friend coming

"Floor wasn't as clean anymore"

"What do you mean?"

"I mean that your house smells like poop Right now"

Chris looked at his house with his eyes turning sad "oh come on..." he whispered to himself before getting in the car

"I still don't realize why you keep them around..." Alec admitted starting the car

"Come on Alec don't be cruel, she's good at her job and all she asked was a room for her and her daughter" Chris explained himself.

Anastasia had been living with her daughter in Chris' house for a while now. She had never asked for more than a room in the house, not even money but of course Chris would make sure to give her some every month

"I do hope it's just that and not her green eyes!"

"She has green eyes?Never even noticed!„ he replied jokingly.

Of course he had noticed, he was noticing it every single day that went by, every time he laid eyes on her, all he could see was a beautiful river in her eyes but it was just her eyes nothing more.
