(hahaha get it??) All jokes aside, please read this, it's important.

This is a Seether fanfic named after the song Remedy. Shaun Morgan, the frontman, is the love interest. The other band members will also be in it as well as minor characters. It is set in 2007, around the time of Finding Beauty In Negative Spaces because it fits the storyline and it is my personal favorite. All actual chapters are either lyrics to a Seether song or a song title. For example, Chapter 1 is a lyric from the song Love Her and Fine Again is a song title. I will include the link to a playlist containing all the songs used and other songs that fit the theme. 

This story may be triggering to some readers as it mentions su*c*de, s*lf-h*rm, death and alcoholism. I will also be using strong language and there may (eventually) be suggestive content. Please do not read on if this content will trigger you or proceed with caution if you want to read it.

Chapters are set in the main character's point of view unless otherwise stated. This shift in perspective will be all caps and in italics before said shift. This may occur any time in the story. Time skips will also occasionally be present. These will be in between asterisks and italicized. They occur mid-chapter. Sometimes the characters will get phone calls. The contents are written out and italicized, line by line with quotation marks as needed.

One more note I wish to leave you with before we get on to introductions. The main character in this story is modeled closely after me, with a couple key differences, including the obvious "i was 8 in 2007 and i have never met Shaun Morgan". With that in mind, I tell you if you are going through any of these problems you are not alone. I'm have dealt with some of the issues discussed and I am alive today. You will be okay. It may not be tomorrow or this month or even this year (fuck 2021), but you will get through this.
