"I've made a mistake, a horrible mistake." Dr. Warren Vansciver's face is twenty-stories tall on the Jumbotron in Times Square. "It was intended to be the cure for cancer, and it worked. But three months later, patients' behavior changed. They became completely different people."

The broadcast cuts to a homeless man who'd been treated with Remedium. Filled with blood lust, setting trees aflame and creating havoc.

Vansciver's face appears again, "The disease spreads by contact; an infected person just has to touch you. Stay inside at all costs and..."

Vansciver's eyes turn blood red and he collapses into convulsions.

"Dr. Vansciver!" Shouted a news anchor. "Someone call a medic!"

"On it!" Someone shouted in the back.

The news anchor kneeled next to the convulsing Dr. Vansciver, and he pushed the doctor onto his side.

"Yes, he just collapsed into convulsions, I think he's having a seizure." The woman with 911 said into the phone. "He just started convulsing, around, um... 5:48? Yes, we've turned him onto his side."

Dr. Vansciver slowly began to stop convulsing, and once he did, he fell asleep.

"He's stopped convulsing." the lady said to 911.

"Okay, I think he's going to be okay-" The news anchor was cut off as Dr. Vansciver bolted upright and grabbed the news anchor's face with both of his hands.

"What's he doing?!" Someone shouted.

"I can't get him off!" The news anchor yelled as he tried to take Dr. Vansciver's hand off of his face.

"Help Charles get Dr. Vansciver off of his face!" Someone shouted as they rushed forward to pry the doctor off of Charles' face.

Several people pushed Dr. Vansciver to the ground as he thrashed and scratched. He wouldn't stop and people were struggling to get him to calm down. Finally, someone yelled; "Let go and back away!" The people that were holding him let go and jumped back.

 Dr. Vansciver jumped up, his eyes were still blood red and blood was streaming from his eyes, his chest heaving, and nose flaring, before passing out.
