Some songs just have a lot of emotion for me and touch me personally:

My favorite MJ song is Earth Song, because when I first heard it I heard so much emotion in this song that I just sat and cried for a very long time. It was the first time I realized just how much emotion one puts into their music, and how that emotion can be preserved through the song. I wish everybody in the entire world could hear this song, because it is the most emotional song I have ever heard in my whole life. It's extremely inspiring. But also excruciatingly painful at the same time. This probably makes no sense, but when I hear his songs like this, I can actually physically feel the pain and sadness. (And also the happiness if it's a happy song.)

As much as I love Morphine, I cannot listen to it. I just can't. The one time I did listen to it (and it was very good) I just felt so bad afterwords and cried. I couldn't stop crying. I don't know why but that song is so painful for me and I can't bring myself to listen to it. It's excruciating for me. (It probably doesn't help that I'm deathly afraid of needles.) But I can really feel his pain in this song. :(

Smile is my second favorite song because, well, first off because Charlie Chaplin composed it, and secondly because Michael just sang it so beautifully. Whenever I'm feeling down, I listen to this and I feel better. A lot of people in my family are dying or are going to die soon, and I'm just in a tough spot right now. This song means so much to me personally because it helps me through these times. I can definately see why this was Michael's favorite song. It's one of the best songs ever! :)
