Their breaths intermixed and their eyes closed as their lips touched and all the worries and tensions seemed to vanish into thin air as their hearts started beating loudly and their desires started growing dangerously wanting more and more of each other.

Naina - ( *called Sameer* ) Sameer main bahar ja rahi hun kuch kaam se, I'll back by night.

Sameer - Uh...theek hai. Mere paas bhi bahut kaam hai aaj toh late ho jaunga main, but kuch problem aye toh call karna mujhe theek hai?

Naina - Theek hai. Aap chinta mat kijiye. Bye. ( *disconnected the call* )

After getting ready, Naina took the car keys and revising all the things needed, drove off towards her destination.
Time flew by like mere seconds and by the time her shopping was over, the clock was already ticking around 8:30 pm.

Naina - Laga nahi tha itna late ho jaega. Sameer aa chuke honge kya wapas? Maybe nahi unhone toh bola tha already ki aaj late ho jaega bahut.

Starting the car, Naina started her journey back home. But for some reason, her regular route was closed down. Getting off the car, Naina asked the people on the road, if something was wrong.

Naina - Kya hua hai yaha? Yeh raasta band kyun hai?

Person - Aree mam aage accident hogaya hai, isliye police investigation kar rahi hai, isliye road band hai abhi ke liye. Agar yaha se jana hai toh intezaar karna padega.

Naina - Approx. kitna time lagega?

Person - Do-teen ghante toh lagenge hi.

Naina - ( *Looked worried* ) Acha?

Person - Uhm...agar koi jaldi hai apko toh dusre raaste se ja sakti hain aap

Naina - Kaunse raaste se?

Person - ( *confused* ) Nahi pata apko?

Naina - Nahi? Main hamesha isi taraf se jaati hun isliye nahi pata

Person - Acha? Wo raasta thoda sunsaan hai par zyaada bhi nahi. Yaha se bas 300 m ki doori par hai. Aur short-cut hai apke ghar ke liye.

Naina - Sach mein?

Person - Main jhoot kyun bolunga?

Naina - Thank you so much. Main pareshan ho gayi thi ki itna late ho jaega but aapne bacha liya. Aap us short-cut ke baare mein nahi bolte toh bahut problem ho jaati

Person - ( *smiled* ) Aree isme thank you ki kya baat hai?

Naina - ( *smiled* ) Acha theek hai fir chalti hun main.

Person - Ji.

Starting her car again, Naina took a long breath and turned back to take the short-cut.

Naina - ( *chuckled* ) Sir, apko kaise pata chala ki main ghar hi ja rahi thi?

A few minutes after she started driving down the deserted road, she saw a truck going down the same path, but the things started getting wierd, when the truck appeared to be following her. So to clear her assumption, she took a few random turns circling the area twice and it became clear that the truck was actually following her.
She accerated her car, and tried to escape, but the truck kept following her and soon enough her fear came true, the truck started hitting her car, making her lose balance. And in a matter of minutes, her car, completely lost control and fell down a shallow cliff. And within a few seconds, it blasted due to the impact of the fall.

Truck driver - ( *called someone* ) Mam kaam hogaya

" Achi baat hai. Confirm kiya na ki wo Naina Maheshwari ki hi laash hai? "

Driver - Nahi mam but jaise accident hua hai chance nahi hai uske zinda hone ka.

" I don't want excuses. Khud jaakar check karo. I want to be confirm ki mera plan theek se ja raha hai agar tumhari wajah se yeh kharab hua then you very well know, main kya kar sakti hun. Aur agar kaam successfully ho gaya ho toh mujhe contact mat karna, just go hide somewhere till my next orders"

Driver - Ji mam.

" Good "

Sameer - Naina ab tak ayi kyun nahi?

Sameer was waiting in the room, wandering when she would return. And soon putting an end to his wait, Naina walked into the room, beaming at him.

Sameer - Bahut khush dikh rahi ho aaj. Kuch hau hai kya?

Naina - Nahi bas itne dino baad bahar ghumne gayi thi isliye.

Sameer - Acha? Aur jis kaam ke liye gayi thi wo hua?

Naina - Kaunsa kaam?

Sameer - Tumne subhe kaha tha na khud kharidna hai tumhe?

Naina - O-oh h-haa ho gaya kaam.

Sameer - Toh fir kaha hai wo cheeze?

Naina - Wo-wo actually kuch mila hi nahi aaj toh maine socha kyun na bas ghum kar wapas aa jau?

Sameer - ( *eyeing her suspiciously* ) Hmm.

Naina - Aise kya dekh rahe ho?

Sameer - Kuch bhi toh nahi.

Naina - ( *Walked closer to him* ) Sach mein?

Sameer - Haan.

Smiling, Naina sat beside Sameer and gently keeping her hand on his cheek, tried to make him face her but surprisingly, he resisted, making her feel dejected but she successfully concealed her expression of irritation.

Sameer - Naina mujhe kaam hai kuch.

Naina - Kitna kaam karte ho tum. Thakan ho rahi hogi na? Coffee le aau?

Sameer - Nahi koi zaroorat nahi hai

Naina - Yeh kya baat hui? Main nahi sun ne wali tumhari baat. Late tak jage rehne wale ho toh better hoga. Energize feel karoge. Theek hai?

Naina smiled, and walked out of the room even before Sameer could reject the offer again.

A few minutes later, she returned back and placing the two mugs on the table, started stirring her coffee while eyeing Sameer.

Naina - Piyo na.

Sameer - Huh? Haan.

Sameer cautiously picked up the cup of coffee but kept it back down.

Naina - Kya hua? Piyoge nahi?

Sameer - Hmm.

Sameer took a whiff of the coffee and smirked slightly on taking the first sip.

Sameer - ( *To himself* ) As expected

After emptying the mug, Sameer's head started throbbing and he started feeling an irritating sensation in the back of his throat. Clenching his chest, he started struggling to breathe.
He extended his trembling hand towards Naina in hope for help but instead she just smiled slyly as she walked out of the room.

Sameer fell down the bed and rolled on the floor because of the extreme pain but as soon as Naina was completely out of the room, he got up as if nothing had happened.

Sameer - ( *mumbled* ) Are you really Naina's twin?

He indeed was faking everything, knowing very well that there was poison in the coffee.

Sameer - Ha! I would have died for real if I wasn't resistant to poison.

Sameer - But atleast usmein itna dimaag toh tha to use a poison which can easily go undetected.

Sameer's chain of thoughts was soon broken by the ringing of his phone. As soon as he saw the caller ID, a frown took over his facial expressions.

Sameer - Hello Kai, kya hua?

Kai - ( *out of breath* ) Sir, wo bhaag gaya. Driver-driver bhaag gaya. Maine use pakadne ki bahut koshish ki but bhaag gaya wo.

Just then Sameer heard a high pitched "what?" from the hall and immediately got the idea that their plan must have been revealed.

According to their plan, Naina had jumped of the car the second before it fell down the cliff and as soon as the driver informed Sunaina about everything, Sameer's hired people kidnapped him while Sameer ensured that Naina was not injured and escorted her to a safe place.

Sameer ran out of the room on hearing the voice and saw Sunaina who was standing near the doorway, looking towards him in anger and disbelief.

Sameer - Dammit! dammit! dammit!

He ran down to catch her but unfortunately she ran out of the mansion, and got lost somewhere in the darkness of the night.

Sameer - Shit! Mujhe Naina ko inform karna hoga.

Sameer - ( *calling her* ) Hello?

Naina - Sameer? Kya hua?

Sameer - Naina bahut badi gadbad hogayi hai. Sunaina ko shayad, shayad nahi I guess pata chal hi gaya hai ki tum zinda ho.

Naina - Kya?! But kaise? Aur ab kya kare fir?

Sameer - Ma-main milke tumhe sab batata hun. Abhi tum next hiding location par pahuncho.

Naina - Theek hai

Sameer - Aur tumne sabko Sunaina ke baare mein inform kar diya hai na?

Naina - Haan saare family members ko bata diya hai

Sameer - Good. Main wait kar raha hun, jaldi aao.

Finally an update after a long break, really sorry for not updating all this time but yaar exams chal rahe the mere n then new school n all toh bilkul time nahi hua n main bhi bht aalsi hun isliye itne time tak koi update nahi aya but ab se I swear regular updates aenge ❤️
