Candle - ( *To herself* ) What the heck?! Maine socha tha atleast kuch din Sameer ke saath akele samay bita paungi but his wife spoiled my whole plan. Par nahi I'll not let my plan get spoiled so easily.

Sameer - We'll meet in a few days, it was nice talking to you Miss D'souza.

It was raining heavily outside when Sameer finally reached the house, but he was drenched in the rainwater.

Sameer - Finally ghar pahunch gaya. Par jaldi se change kar leta hun warna khamakha tabiyat kharab ho jaegi aur Naina devi firse apna lecture shuru kar degi.

Thinking this Sameer forwarded towards their room and on entering found Naina folding some clothes. Sensing his presence, Naina stood up holding the clothes.

Naina - ( *Without looking at him* ) Aree agaye aap

But as soon as she looked up at him, she was caught off-guard. Sameer was completely drenched and on top of that he was wearing a white shirt which had turned partially transparent by now.
All of a sudden Naina was finding it extremely tough to get the words out of her mouth. Sameer noticing her changing expressions smirked and started walking towards her slowly.

Sameer - Kya hua Naina? ( *in a husky voice* )

By now both of them were mere inches away. Naina's breath grew erratic and she was being able to even smell his cologne which was making her to go weak on her knees.

Sameer slowly bending down to her height brushed away a strand of hair that was falling on her face. Naina shivered under his touch but was dazed by the effect even his single touch was having over her.

Sameer - Naina?

Naina - Ha-Ha-Haan

Naina somehow managed to get the word out of her mouth but was still not being able to look into his eyes.

Sameer - ( *Keeping his hand under her chin* ) Upar dekho

Naina did what he had said and lifting her eyes up gently, looked into his eyes. Those deep brown eyes were casting some spell on her that was making her forget about the whole world.

Sameer - Naina

Naina - Ji-ji

Sameer - Main tumse kuch kehna chahta hun

Naina - ( *breathing heavily coz of the closeness* ) Ka-kahiye

Sameer - Main yeh kehna chahta hun ki ( *husky voice* )

Naina - K-ki k-ky-kya

Naina had again shifted her gaze away from him and was now staring at the floor out of shyness.

Sameer - ki ( *husky voice* ) Mujhemerekapdededojaldinahitoh mujhesardilagjaegiaurfirmainkoi kaamnaikarpaunga.

Naina immediately whipped her head up to look at him and was hell confused.

Naina - Kya?!

Sameer - ( *chuckled seeing her expressions* ) maine kaha mujhe mere kapde dedo jaldi nahi toh mujhe sardi lag jaegi aur fir main koi kaam nai kar paunga.

Naina - Kapde?

And that's when realisation hit her yet he was teasing her again. Her cheeks heated up but brushing off her trail of thought, she turned back to grab the clothes from the wardrobe, but before she could even take a single step, Sameer caught her by her wrist.

Sameer - Kya hua Naina? Kuch aur socha tha kya tumne?

Naina - ( *To herself* ) Sh*t itihaas gawah hai yeh puchne ke baad inse aaj tak koi normal kaam hua hi nahi hai

Naina - ( *Turning around to face him* ) Na-Nahi toh main ku-kuch aur kyun sochungi?

Sameer - Nahi mujhe laga shayad tum soch rahi hogi ki main tumhe aise kheech kar ( *pulled her by waist* ) kiss kar lunga ( *Kissed her forehead* )

Naina was in complete shock after this while Sameer was just not being able to stop smirking.
But it wasn't long enough before Naina realised that it was yet another attempt of Sameer to tease her.

Naina - M-Main aisa kuch nahi soch rahi thi. ( *Coming out of his arms* )

Sameer - Acha? ( *Again taking slow steps towards her* )

Naina got even more nervous and started walking backwards. But after a few steps there was no space left behind her, at this point Sameer was almost standing right infront of her so, not being able to do anything else, she did the only thing that crossed her mind.

Naina - ( *Looking behind Sameer* ) Nanaji namaste!

Hearing this, Sameer immediately turned around and stepped away from her which gave Naina the right opportunity to escape.

Sameer - Nanu hum toh bas yuh hi ( *Realizing* ) Ek minute nanu?!

Realising that Naina had done this purposefully to distract him, he again turned around to face her but before he could do anything, Naina ran out of the room as fast as she could and it looked like she had seen some ghost that had been haunting her in her nightmares. Sameer was almost dumbstruck seeing her running so fast but brushing off his train of thoughts smirked again and grabbing his clothes went back to the washroom.

Three days later :

Samaina were busy in packing their stuff and re-checking everything incase something was left out. They had their flight for Russia the next day and were just praying for everything to go smoothly.

Sameer was in his home to look after a few important files and as usual was in the office that he had in their house when suddenly Candle called him again.

Sameer - ( *Seeing the caller ID* ) Candle D'souza?
This is her third call this week, hope it ends soon ( *sighs* )

Candle - Hey Sameer, ready for coming to Russia?

Sameer - Hi Miss D'souza n yes we are almost done with everything and will reach there by tomorrow evening.

Candle - Oh great! N I was just thinking that your wife will stay in the hotel room the whole day right?

Sameer - Yeah I guess

Candle - Perfect! Then I think we can go somewhere out after we are done with the mission like just you and me?

Sameer - ( *To himself* ) Yeh pagal hogayi hai kya?!

Sameer - Miss D'souza you do realise that I am married right?

Candle - Yeah I know but that doesn't mean we can't go out like on just a date?

Candle - Also I don't think your wife is a good match for you, you need someone better, someone who is like you, someone like me, so what do you think where should we have our first date?

Sameer - Miss D'souza, I am sure you won't like my answer to this so it would be better to just rest the conversation right here.

Candle - Bu-

But before Candle could say anything Sameer disconnected the call.

Candle - Ugh! Firse nahi! But no worries I'll just find a way to make him fall for me bas kuch din aur, then it would be just the two of us forever.

Sameer disconnecting the call rubbed his palm over his face and pretending like nothing had happened walked downstairs.

Naina was already serving dinner for him and seeing her, the things that Candle had said immediately crossed his mind.

Sameer - Naina is just so naive, and I can't just cheat her like that, atleast not after what she had to go through just because of me. Sameer promised himself to try and stay away for Candle but still the thought of what she had said kept crossing his mind again and again.
So to brush off the thoughts, he tried to start a conversation with Naina.

Sameer - Waise kal ke liye excited?

Naina - Bahut zyaada. ( *In a low voice* ) Akhir bahut purana rishta jo hai us jagah se

But unfortunately Sameer heard that and got quite confused by the statement.

Sameer - ( *Confused* ) Kaisa purana rishta?

Naina - Han? Ha-haan woh purana rishta matlab meri ek dost Russia se hi thi and both of us were really close bas usi ki hi yaad agayi thi bas yahi baat thi aur kuch bhi toh nahi. Hehe ( *Laughs nervously* )

Sameer looked at her weirdly but remembering all the crazy and confusing stuff she had done in the past, stopped overthinking and just shrugging, continued having his dinner.

After having their dinner both of them went back to their bedroom and checking everything for one last time went back to sleep to get lost in their dreamlands till the morning. Both of them were waiting eagerly for the next day but each had a different reason and a different goal and nobody knew what their lives had planned for them.
