// a heads up, this story is sort of a rewrite of my other story, Relive your memories ( haha get it, Relive it again, lol ) , but like, not a rewrite, this of this an alternate universe but like the writing and everything is better. But this will still follow all of the events of that story accordingly.

It's been a few days since Izuku has been studying to UA. This have been... progressing okay. It's not super spectacular but still very overwhelming, being surrounded by people who actually like you and are willing to talk to you... it feels very nice, even Shinso who stated that he wasn't there to make friends quickly warmed up to the class and if he ever gets overwhelmed, they don't mind if he takes a step away and have thoughts alone for himself. Maybe static will help every now and then.

When his friend, Katsuki ( Ugh the name and his face- even his quirk reminds him too much of Kacchan ) decided to hug him one day, only then did Izuku realize how touch-starved he was. The only bit of touchiness he ever gets was hugs from his mother and kisses on the forehead ( which are also from her ). Thankfully, his ever so kind classmates don't mind being hugged.

Even Yamikumo, the shy and cautious raven haired teen don't mind hugs every now and then even though they did fluster him a lot. He still hasn't hugged Shinso yet, Static keeps telling him to be cautious of him, the purplenet seemed to be guarded out of most of them, he needs more friendship levels to unlock the hug option. It's fine though.

Ocha, Ji and Katsuki gave out hugs like candy, Katsuki himself seemed to be particularly fixated on hugging him and Yamikumo, often pointing out how similar they look to each other, Izuku really doesn't see it. The ravenhead doesn't have freckles like he does and has scary red eyes, contrast to him, who has freckles and bright green eyes. Although they both have curly and scraggly hair, their difference can be seen even in the darkest of nights.

Izuku doesn't know what Katsuki sees in them. Honestly. The weirdest thing is that everyone actually agreed on it, much to him and Yamikumo's chagrin. Even their teachers sometimes mistook them from each other and Izuku honestly still doesn't know why.

Today was a bit different though, when he arrived at UA there were reporters swarming around the entrance. He was walking with Yamikumo when it happened. Although Static already did warn him about this already he kinda wished that he was with Katsuki or with Ji, Katsuki, despite his very kind and sweet nature would get angry that they're getting uncomfortable by the reporters although he'll come off as passive aggressive while Ji will straight up scream at them to make way.

Him and Yamikumo are pretty much the least confident in class and still be considered as kind of shy although they do have bursts of confidence every now and then. They practically froze to stone the moment one of the reporters got close.

"It is rude to stop students on their way to school! You're getting in the way of our education!" They squeak when a larg voice said that from behind them before they are gently pushed forward through the crowd with the person telling them to back off. Izuku appreciates it very much, Yamikumo too.

"Are you two okay? I felt the need to intervene when I saw you two freeze up like a statue."

"O-Oh um... t-thank you..." Yamikumo says, Iida nods.

"My name is Iida Tenya, I hope to see you more in school rather than out in school hours, if you ever need help you're free to come to me in Class 1-A."

"Thank you sir!" Izuku says, Iida seemed flustered.

"T-There's no need for that!" Iida coughs. "W-Well I think it's about time we partways, good luck in class my fellow schoolmates."

"Good luck in class too!"

They sighed in relief, finally able to walk to class and sat in their respective seats, Shinso rose a brow at him.

"Heh, you got caught up too?" He asks, Izuku sighs and nods.

"Hm, you still haven't told me about yesterday, who were you talking to?" Shinso asks again, Izuku doesn't answer his question, rather he just rummages his bag for something.

"Here's a question, do you like lollipops?"

"...Uh... sure?"

"Do you like strawberry?"

"What are you-" Shinso was cut of when a lollipop was forced into his mouth.

"There you go, don't pry into other people's businesses from now on, okay? It won't do you good to stick your nose in things you shouldn't be concerned with, even though it's a wonderful trait to have if you're a hero." Izuku says, petting his head.

Nice, not sure how he'll take that one but nice.

Today they're having lunch. Well in every other day they're also having lunch but today they're having lunch. Izuku eats from his bento, Yamikumo and Ocha as well. Katsuki and Shinso bought their own foods. They're not talking about particularly anything, just talking about random things until it turns into a conversation.

"Deku, what the fuck are you doing here?!" Izuku jolted from his seat, his classmates eye turn to the source of the unwanted noise.

"Oh! Haha you look like me!" Katsuki says, waving at him. "I'm not sure you know but my friends name is Izuku, not Deku, my friend is not useless." Katsuki said with a smile that for others may seem normal but his classmates know better, he's getting somewhat irritated.

"Tch you think I care about what you think? That quirkless piece of shit is Deku and he's fucking useless! Oi Deku, get out of your seat and let's have a fucking talk! I already told you not to come to UA but here you fucking are, do I have to drill it to your head this time?"

"..." Izuku sighed, making his way to move but Yamikumo, the person beside him held him still, glaring at Bakugou.

"I don't know what sort of relationship you two had way back then, nor do I care, my friend is feeling uncomfortable around you right now so leave. It's not that hard to see that you're clearly unwanted here." He says, venom in his voice his red eyes gleaming dangerously.

They're rooting for you Izuku.

...I don't know.... what to say.

"Hey, you blonde porcupine who doesn't know how to read the atmosphere."

"What the fuck did you-!" Bakugou stilled at Shinso's word, the purplenet smirked.

"Sit in the corner for 5 minutes." Is what he says and Bakugou wordlessly followed.

...Hm.

Static? What's wrong?

I... never mind I'm just... feeling... nostalgic yet I know things are different. Just ignore me for now, okay?

Okay.

"Are you okay, Izuku?" Katsuki asks, his tone gentle and cautious, Izuku nods.

"Now I kinda know why you're so flinchy around me, it's because of that guy, isn't it?"

"A-Ah Katsuki-kun! I-It's not polite to say it outright like that!" Yamikumo says, flustered for his friend, Katsuki only smiled

"I-It's fine! I... I know I shouldn't let if affect me too much, y-yeah... you two look a lot alike except your eyes are green. It's... hard to look pass through, sorry."

"No no, it's fine, don't worry about it!" Katsuki says, "but I am kind of curious was sort of relationship you two had with each other, he seems genuinely angry to see you around here, you know?"

"We're childhood friends but..."

I don't think you should tell them right now.

What?

As much as I want to see Bakugou kicked out of UA for all the shit he gave you.. he's... he's going to be better in the future. Just tell them you're childhood friends for now, they're quick to jump to conclusions in this stage and might act according to how they feel and not how you feel. That might let their imaginations foster but trust me, it's better.

"Yeah we're... Childhood friends."

"Hm, you two don't seem too friendly with each other though, is he really just a childhood friend to you?" Katsuki asks, prodding.

He's trying to get you to say that he's a bully so he can confront Bakugou by himself. Not a wise thing to let him do.

"Um... s-sorry I don't... want to talk about it."

"Oh that's fine, but if you ever need an ear to talk to, I'm always here!"

Be cautious around him, even though he seems to be a nice person, his intuition is just as sharp as Bakugou's, don't let his smile fool you.

And Izuku?

Yes?

Warn them not to move on their seats.

Why?

Just tell them.

"Hey guys? Um I need you to stay still in your seats!" He says.

Suddenly the alarm bleared through and everyone is rushing to leave the vicinity.

Except for them, who looked at Izuku for an explanation.

There's only reporters outside, they managed to break through UA. It's really nothing to worry about.

"I-If you look outside... there's only the reporters, they managed to break through UA. It's really nothing to worry about." He says nervously.

"Izuku-kun... you... you've never looked up once ever since Katsuki-kun's look alike came though..." Yamikumo says, a bit confused, Shinso looked at him with interest.

"Um... call it... intuition...?" Izuku laughed too loud to be genuine before he returns to eat his lunch.

They're unto us, is that a good thing Static?

No.

What?! Why are you so calm then?!

What good is life if you don't stumble and get hit every once in a while. A world where everything goes as planned is boring, you know.

I guess that's true... but still! Why are you so calm?! Did you know that this would happen?

No but it's a pleasant surprise, I'm pleased with your choice of friends, Izuku.
