Monday came round alot quicker than I would've wanted. I had dreaded going to school all weekend. The nerves kicked in as soon as I walked into the building.

I saw you, laughing away with your group of friends all cheery and happy.

That really upset me.

It's as if you weren't even the slightest bit affected by it. Like you didn't even care.

And as I walked behind you, you didn't say anything. Neither did your friends. It's like I was invisible, like I wasn't even there, like nothing had ever happened.

And quite frankly, that made me feel a little content.

It made me feel as though it wouldn't be as awkward and embarrasing as I had originally thought.

It made me feel like it was all going to be ok.
