In the 20 plus years I've been alive, I've noted that there are some pros and cons to wearing glasses. 

For example, one pro is that if you get hit in the face, the glasses take most of the force and your face will get mildly bruised rather than getting a week-long shiner from that stupid basketball!

One con however is that, if my glasses fall off my nightstand in the middle of the night, it'll take me a half hour to find them because they're so thin and as dark as my carpet that they're literally invisible to me!
