I used to hide under the covers so that the "monster under the bed" wouldn't get me.

I used to make sure no arms or legs would be hanging from the side of the bed. Because as soon as I'm under the warm blankets, I'm safe n' sound.

But how do the covers protect me??? It's not like the "monster" is going to stop from attacking me in my sleep and say instead "Oh no, she's under the covers, can't attack her" or something like that, right?!!!
