Searcher was awakened by the sound of crying. He groaned, and he climbed out of the bed, gently making sure that the sleeping Shades was comfortable.

An exhausted murmur escaped Shades, but he was too tired to wake up.

Searcher rubbed the area around his right eyesocket as he walked towards the source of the crying.

"Wheh.. wheh... wheh..."

One of the babies was crying, but which one was it? He wasn't wearing his glasses, and the room was dark...

The baby hiccuped, they were upset.

He grumbled as he used the built in gloves in the incubator, to gently hold the crying baby.

Little sniffles and hiccups came from the tiny baby bones.

"Shh... Shh... Papa's here."

"Wheh.... hic wheh."

He gently rubbed their head. "Papa's got you baby... Papa's got you."

"Sniffllle.. snif.. hic..."

"Ser..." Came Shades exhausted voice, clearly he was not awake.

"Go back to sleep Love, I've got this." He told Shades, as he gently wrapped his Magic around the Baby Bones.

"Ser... unless you're going to grow a pair of breasts, or get a bottle, that's not going happen for Mira." Shades yawned.

"I know... I know. I just wanted to give you a few more minutes of sleep."

"Call a doctor love, we'll have her fed, and back to sleep, in no time. The concentrated magic that I'll feed her will help her" Shades said, yawning, turning on the hospital bed sidelamp.

Searcher looked at the baby that he was holding.

"They have to officially take her out of the device, she's too fragile to stay out for too long. One day you'll be the carrier, and you'll be able to feed them too." Shades said, he looked around for the call button, but he was too sleepy to realize it was closer to his husband.

"I know... I know... But the fact that she's crying is a good sign."

"I worry though, her brothers are already growing their tiny bits of magic but hers isn't growing. She might have to stay feeding on my magic longer." Shades said, worriedly.

Searcher nodded his head, and he gasped when Mira opened her eyes, and when he saw her silver eyelights, that was it. Her father was wrapped around her tiny fingers.

"Muuuuuuuu," Mira yawned sleepily, her face said that she was still grumpy and she wanted food.

"Everything alright Ser?" Shades asked worriedly.

"..... I'm think that she has me wrapped around her tiny fingers..."

"Little girls are like that with their Papa's, especially for skeleton monsters since them having a confirmed gender is rare." Shades giggled, making a aha sound as he finally found the Doctor call button.

"... She's not allowed to have a boyfriend until she's 200 years old..."

Shades cracked up laughing, and at that moment, a nurse entered and she looked started.

"You called?" She asked them.

"Our baby girl is hungry, is it safe for me to feed her?" Shades asked, hopefully, after all, so far he'd only been able to touch his babies through the gloves.

"Of course, Doctor Sans said that she could stay out of the incubator for a short amount of time since we don't want the babies to be touch starved. We think the two other babies might be safe to take out, full time, in a few days." She said, smiling as she headed to the incubator that was holding Mira.

Searcher was looking at their baby girl with stars in his eyelight.

"Ser... the nurse can't get her out, you're in the way..." Shades teased him.

Searched whimpered, and he got out of the way of the nurse.

Carefully, the nurse pulled the device open, and she carefully picked up the smallest of the triplets, placing her in her mother's arms. "I'll be back in half an hour, and remember to be careful when you cuddle her." She said, and she vanished from the room.

"She's so light." Shades said, using a hand to adjust his hospital robes so that he could gain access to his breasts.

"Yeah..." Searcher walked over to them.

"There we go." Shades said softly, as Mira's mouth gripped onto his right ecto nipple and she began to have her first ever meal. The dark guardian smiled, running a hand through the tiny tuff of hair.

"She's hungry." Searcher whispered, as he started to gently climb onto the bed. "Look at her go..."

"Well, she's hungry, the incubator system magic helps, but the babies still prefer real food. Ser, Mira and I will likely be here in the hospital for quite a while, do you think you are capable of looking after Solas, and our newest boys, alone?" Shades asked, concerned, turning to look at the other babies who were still asleep.

"I'll be okay... And I can always ask our other kids to help us... They'll enjoying having a chance to bond with their new younger siblings."

"I'm hoping that I'm not being a worry wart." Shades said, gently kissing Mira's skull as she finally released his breast. Carefully, he burped her, and he was relived there was no messes for him to clean up since he still hurt from the surgery.

"Yeah." Searcher smiled at them, as Mira yawned, and she wriggled around.

"Do you want to hold her, we only have a little time till she has to go back into the incubator." Shades said, with a smile on his face.

Searcher nodded his head.

Carefully, Shades placed his youngest into his Soulmate's arms, and two sleepy silver eye lights blinked up at a singular matching one.

"Hi Baby Girl... It's me... Your Papa..." It was clear, to Shades, that Mira had found a special place in her Papa's heart.

"Mu....." Mira yawned, she was so wiggly.

Searcher chucked, and he adjusted the blankets that had been wrapped around Mira.

"Oh... her markings cover both of her arms, they're so pretty," Shades said happily.

"Yeah..."

"I kind of wish that some of the children could inherit things from my side of the family, Solas and I are the only guardians." Shades said. wistfully, but mind you, he seriously doubted that Fate would allow another Guardian since she had her Light and Darkness Guardians.

Searcher hummed, and he nodded his head. "I didn't see any other Guardians at the Temples, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Fates hired our kids to act as the caretakers of the Temples."

"Ser... You do realize, that the Guardians and temples that we fought as children, Fate had me build. Only Solas and I are true guardians." Shades said dryly. "It's kind of hard to guard them when the light temple is phased out of reality, at this moment in time, and I never officially changed the void core into one, because technically, the void core would be part of one."

"I know... But if you consider that my Fire Temple was in ruins, when I got to it, but what remained of the cravings, and runes, in the Temple, were clean enough for me to read... I didn't need to wipe away any ash or dust from them, and that AU was covered in active volcanos, which should have covered the ruins in ash and dust... So, how do you explain why that Temple was so clean?"

Shades innocently looked away from him.

"Apart from you occasionally going to clean the ruins, or Magic preventing ash and dust from burying the ruins?"

"Um.... The fates got drunk before they designed them, and had all kinds of weird ideas. The way that we found the temples, that's was how they were supposed to be." He said, blushing.

"Ahh... Okay." Searcher nodded his head. "But I wouldn't put it pass them to ask the Kids to occasionally check on the Temples if you're busy doing some of your duties for them."

"Ser..." Shades said, looking pained, for a moment.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing wrong, it's just... if you want to look for the elemental guardian temples. You won't be able to find them, only our future child selves, and maybe Fear, can find them. The fates phased them out, calling them Spoilers." Shades said dryly, all that work and then, they hid them away.

Rude.

"Spoilers?" Searcher had a confused look on his face.

"Just because we changed the timeline due to.. well, you know, doesn't mean everything is going to stay the same. You really haven't noticed it?" He asked him, with a surprised look on his face.

"They kept me busy with building Reapertale, both of them."

"Searcher..." Shades said, seriously. "The fates sealed, or blocked, a lot of our memories away, so we cannot interfere with set events."

"I'm already aware of that... They told me that they would have to play around with my memories to keep those set events in the correct places..."

"Searcher... I.. don't think you understand how many they sealed away." Shades face went pensive. "Due to my duty, I can see the original timeline, and a lot of this new one... I think that you might want to check your memories." Stupid fates, Ser probably didn't realize just how much was missing.

Searcher tilted his head, and then, he froze...

"Ser... it will be okay, I.. hadn't realized until now that you wouldn't have figured their games." Shades said, leaning against his husband.

"I... I can barely remember what Mom, Dad, Raven, Shino and Sorrel look like..."

"At least you can remember what they look like, the Fates took all of that from me." Shades said, bitterly "There will be no interference with our future past selves."

"And huge parts of my time as Error have been blocked..."

"I know..."

Searcher shook his head. "I think that I can understand why they told me to build the Reapertales... I was an unexpected glitch in their games... They had to find a way to keep an eye on me."

"They told me that the memories will start to return after set events, it's just that... a lot of them are going to happen when time catches up to us" Shades said, bitterly.

"We'll be waiting a long time..."

"And then, we'll be mostly free from the Fates plans, after all, there is no reversing you becoming the God of gods, and myself becoming Fate's guardian. Do you think Truth and Seeker will like these versions of ourselves?" Shades asked him, curiously.

"I don't know... I'm hoping that they will like them... And we can't forget about Mom... We'll have to round up all of the kids, and take them to him."

"It's a good thing that we plan to marry them in our birth forms when that time comes, they're going to be upset at missing the original one." Shades said, with a giggle.

Searcher smiled.
