Chapter 27: Why?

Third POV

He kicked and screamed but it was no use.

"Quiet mutt," The man holding him snarled.

"Just knock him out it's easier," The other man said, "And hide our scents."

"Good idea," The man laughed. There was a sudden pain on his head before he saw black.

As he opened his eyes he groaned feeling the throbbing pain on his head. He looked around and he was locked in a cell with other cells surrounding him. There was a dim light in the corner and shackles in every cell. He crawled towards the bars and grabbed it hoping it would help him stand up. He hissed as it stung the palm of his hands.

"It's Wolfsbane," a voice laughed in the darkroom, "It hurts you and dampens your cute little powers."

"Wha-," Jungkook tried speaking but his throat was as dry as the desert.

"Oh, where are my manners. I should give you some water so you don't die before the boss gets here," The man said handing him a water bottle. Jungkook raised a brow at the man.

"It's just water," he pointed out, "Like I said the boss doesn't want you dead." Jungkook nodded slowly and even though he knew not to trust the man he drank it anyway. He gulped down the bottle and wiped his mouth and turned to look at the man who was sitting in front of his cell now.

"What do you want from me?" Jungkook asked not afraid. He knew being a white wolf would lead to future dangers so he was trained for this. The question was if he was strong enough.

"I don't want anything from you pretty boy. I'm just here to keep watch for the boss and the two assistants," The man shrugged. Jungkook sniffed around and couldn't catch any other scents.

"Who is the boss?" he asked.

The man chuckled, "You will find out soon enough."

"I'm here," a familiar voice sang. He heard footsteps approach the door. His heart started beating faster. He was seconds away from finding out who had threatened him and had done all these things to him. The door swung in and in walked the last person on his list.

"Hyuna," Jungkook screamed. She laughed and walked over to his cell.

"Hey little mutt," She greeted with a wave.

"Why are you doing this? You were the one warning me about the people trying to take me," Jungkook asked.

"Well like I said," she said with a smirk, "I want to take over the world."

"Why do you need me?" Jungkook questioned.

"You, my sweet boy, are the most powerful wolf. I am a powerful vampire and I have a witch on my side. She isn't here because she refused to help me kidnap you," she answered. Jungkook's brain was trying to process everything that was happening. Almost nothing made sense.

"I was trying to weaken your wolf with all of your injuries and it worked," she explained, "Weak wolf equal less likely for you to stop me. It just so happens your mate didn't want you so it made that easier." Jungkook let out a low growl at the mention of Tae.

"I have to get going," she said walking towards the door, "Good night!"

"Go to sleep mutt," the man said. Jungkook groaned and crawled to the corner of his cell. He curled into a ball and forced his eyes shut.

"Wake up beautiful," a voice whispered into the silence of the cell. Jungkook opened his eyes and saw someone he didn't expect to see here.

"Sehun!"

He nodded and sat on a stool in front of the cell.

"Why are you in on this too," Jungkook growled crawling to the bars. He tried to reach him but was stung by the wolfsbane.

"That's a long story but since we got time," Sehun crossed his legs.

"It all started with the battle of the century. I know it was kept secret from you but there was a large battle between a pack. Yours and Mine. We fought over the last white wolf. You probably don't remember him but he was your grandfather." Sehun said.

Jungkook was told he got his powers from his grandfather since it skips generations. He had never met him before he died due to a rogue attack.

"Your stupid grandfather killed my mate," Sehun growled. "He was killed by one of your kind. I despise your family and your so called special powers. I needed you gone so you can't reproduce your gene."

"It wasn't my fault," Jungkook snarled.

"A little baby getting brave, isn't he. He doesn't realize that was the battle his parents died at." Sehun laughed. Jungkook whimpered at the mention of his parents.

"I heard what had happened. Your mother was stabbed in front of your dad. He was holding her in his arms and was crying. He was so distracted he didn't see the man coming up behind him. The died together."

Jungkook's eyes began to water picturing the scene. He couldn't believe his parents had died in each other's arms.

"That was a good sob story," Hyuna laughed walking into the room with another female behind her. Jungkook honestly wasn't surprised at the new guest.

"That was sad," Mina said clapping.

"Since you are here why do you want me here?" Jungkook asked.

"Obvious answer," Mina rolled her eyes, "I want you gone so I can be Luna and have Taehyung to myself."

"Shouldn't have asked," he muttered.

"Don't worry pet someone is here to join you," Hyuna laughed evilly.

"Let go of me," a familiar voice screamed. In came Hoseok thrashing in two other man's arms. They threw him into the cell next to Jungkook.

"Seokie," Jungkook screamed looking at a hurt Hoseok.

"Jungkookie you are okay," He laughed rubbing his head. He turned and looked Mina in the eyes.

"When I get my hands on you," he growled.

"Would you really kill your baby?" she asked rubbing her belly with a pout. "And your mate?"

Jungkook gasped and turned to Hoseok who was burning up. Before anyone could say anything there was a loud bell.

"That's our sign to go," Hyuna said pushing the two out. All three of them walked out the door and Jungkook turned to look at Hoseok.

"Are you okay bunny?" Hoseok asked.

"That doesn't matter," Jungkook said waving it off, "Explain."

"When I found out Mina was my mate I wasn't ecstatic but at least I had one. She was going to reject me but she decided to be with me when you came into the picture. I had sex with her once and then she called me and told me I got her pregnant. She got it tested and confirmed I was the father. When she told Taehyung it was his I was furious. But I couldn't say anything because she was threatening to hurt the baby." Hoseok finished with tears in his eyes.

"I'm sorry," Jungkook whispered.

"It's fine," Hoseok said laying down, "Get some sleep."

Jungkook laid down as well and let all the information he got today sink in. He had to deal with an evil cousin, a broken man, and a power-hungry woman.

Shit.
