Chapter 26: Magic

Third POV

"I found out who did it!" Jimin yelled running into the kitchen where Jin was preparing breakfast.

"Really?" Jin asked as his eyes widened putting down his knife, "Who?"

"It was Hoseok," Jimin said exasperatedly.

"Why?" Jin questioned picking his knife back up and then putting it back down. He told himself to stop being dramatic.

"Let's ask him," Jimin huffed turning around and stomping out the door. Jin followed him to Jungkook's room where Hoseok was. Jimin swung the door open and pointed at Hoseok accusingly.

"Why did you do it?" Jin asked putting his hands on his hip.

"He made me do it," Hoseok said with wide eyes.

"Who?"

"Jungkook!" He said pointing at the boy.

"Jungkook made you steal the cookies," Jimin rolled his eyes.

"Yes," Hoseok sighed. "He told me he wanted cookies and he wasn't feeling well so I stole them from the kitchen."

"Tattle tell," Jungkook pouted from his bed.

"Bun, no cookies before bedtime," Jin scolded as Jungkook's pout increased.

"Kookie's big now he doesn't need a bedtime," Jungkook huffed.

"Oh he is now," Jimin said teasingly. Jungkook nodded and he rolled his eyes and joined the other in bed.

"What's going on in here?" Yoongi laughed as he walked into the room.

"We found out Hoseok stole the cookies and Jungkook told him too. He said he's a big boy now." Jin concluded.

"He's still my baby," Yoongi chuckled before jumping on top of the two boys laying in the bed. Jungkook let out a squeal as his brother landed on top of him.

"Get off," Jungkook grunted pushing his body but it was just dead weight now. Yoongi rolled and slid to the left of Jungkook and Jimin was on the right.

"Anyways I came here to tell ya something," Yoongi said looking at Jungkook.

"What is it?" he asked.

"A witch is coming to talk to you and help your wolf get stronger so you can shift again," Yoongi stated. Nova has been too weak to shift since he's been taking all of Jungkook's pain and the rejection.

"It's a male witch actually," Jin laughed.

"Who cares," Yoongi rolled his eyes.

"I haven't shifted since I came back," Jungkook said eyes widening.

"You haven't and that's good for your safety," Hoseok added.

"But I have to tell Taehyung eventually," Jungkook sighed, "He has to know about my powers."

"Let's give it a week," Jimin voiced.

Jungkook nodded and looked at Yoongi, "When is he coming?"

"In an hour," he answered, "So get some sleep." With that said the two got off the bed and they made their way out saying their goodbyes. The others followed suit. Jungkook hummed quietly and drifted off into sleep.

"Bun," someone whispered. He opened his eyes and was greeted by Yoongi smiling softly. Next to him was an unfamiliar man.

"Hello," he waved, "My name is Felix."

"You seem a lot younger than me," Jungkook muttered.

"I am," Felix laughed, "But I have an old brain and soul." Jungkook laughed as well.

"I was wondering if we could go for a walk if you don't mind?" Felix asked. Jungkook nodded and looked at Yoongi.

"Go ahead," Yoongi said, "I'm going to go patrol the borders." Jungkook climbed out of bed and Yoongi walked out the door.

"Lead the way," Felix smiled gesturing towards the door. Jungkook walked out first and led them outside to the garden.

"So how many time have you been hurt physically or emotionally?" Felix asked as they were walking through the garden.

"Way to many times than a person should in four months," Jungkook halfheartedly chuckled.

"Can you list some?" 

"I've been poisoned, pushed off a cliff, found out my parents are dead, found out my family lied to me, was rejected, and my mate had sex with someone else," Jungkook listed.

"Okay wow," Felix was perplexed. "So how much pain have you felt throughout this?"

"A minimal amount," he answered truthfully. "Nova has been taking all of it."

"Your wolf may be rare and strong but he has a limit," Felix stated, "And you are coming close." Felix reached into his pocket and pulled out a bottle.

"Drink this twice a day to nurse your wolf back to a healthy state," Felix handed him the bottle. "And I know this might sound bad but try preventing Nova from taking the pain and take it yourself to get him better for now."

"I will," Jungkook said firmly.

"I also want you to mate," Felix said causing Jungkook to start coughing, "Do whatever you can to get him to mate with you or else you are both dead. And we can't have a white wolf die this early."

"I thought I couldn't die from that?" Jungkook asked confused.

"Love is a very powerful emotion," Felix said plainly as they neared where the wolves were training. Jungkook looked around and locked eyes with his mate.

Taehyung turned and saw an unknown male standing next to Jungkook. He walked over to the two with a sharp glare on the other.

"Hey Tae Tae," Jungkook greeted with a smile.

"What are you doing out of bed?" he asked, "And who's this?"

"I was going for a walk with my new friend Felix," Jungkook answered gesturing to the younger next to him.

"Hello," Felix greeted putting his hand out. Taehyung ignored him and grabbed Jungkook's waist to pull him closer.

"Don't worry," Felix laughed, "I won't steal your man even though he is pretty cute," Taehyung growled and placed a chaste kiss on Jungkook's lips. Felix laughed even more.

"Calm down wolfy I have a mate," Felix said, "Speaking of he's probably waiting for me so I should get going."

"Have a safe trip back," Jungkook said as Felix began walking away.

"Goodbye," Felix waved.

Hours later Jungkook was back in his bed after taking a shot of his new medication. Taehyung was working in his office. His wolf began stirring and he had no idea what was wrong.

Mate. Luca whimpered.

What happened.

Something's off.

Before Taehyung could question further his door was swung open by Namjoon.

"We have a problem," Namjoon panted.

"What happened?" Taehyung asked standing up.

"Someone got onto our grounds," Namjoon answered trying to catch his breath.

"What else?" Taehyung urged him to continue.

"Jungkook is gone."
