Chapter 25: Poison

Third POV

Fear.

It was all Taehyung felt when he saw his angel fall to the ground as soon as the clock struck twelve. The crowd cleared as they saw him fall and Taehyung rushed over with a scream.

"Jungkook," he yelled gaining the attention from the others. Jin gasped as he ran over to the unconscious boy.

"We have to get him to the hospital wing," Jin stated lifting up the boy in his arms. Taehyung nodded and followed Jin into the house. They ran as fast as they could with the others following. Taehyung threw the door open and Jin walked in putting Jungkook onto the bed.

"What happened?" Yoongi asked panting from the run.

"He passed out all of the sudden and I have no idea what caused it," Taehyung answered truthfully.

"I'm going to run tests on him. I'll call you when I'm done," Jin said trying to get everyone out of the room.

"I need to stay," Taehyung stated with a stern face.

"The presence of him mate might help him," Hoseok added.

Jin sighed, "Okay fine."

The others walked out of the room and Jin shut the door.

"Jungkook's been in the hospital way too often this year," Jimin sighed resting his head on Yoongi's shoulder.

"I agree," Yoongi said giving him a peck on the forehead.

"What a great start to a new year," Yugyeom laughed sarcastically leaning back against the wall.

Jungkook heard voices but all he could see was darkness. His throat felt like he swallowed pounds of sand. He felt sore in all the muscles in his body.

"Open your eyes baby," Taehyung muttered softly. Jungkook's body relaxed at the sound of his mate and he soon felt someone holding his hand. He slowly opened his eyes and was blinded by the light in the room. He squinted and turned to see Taehyung smiling softly at him.

"You are okay," Taehyung said cheerfully pulling Jungkook into a tight hug. After they let go Jungkook pointed at his throat.

"I know your throat hurts," Jin said from the corner of the room. "I had to take out all the poison from your system with a tube." Jungkook's eyes widened at the word poison.

Taehyung clenched his fist, "I'll kill whoever did this to you."

"Calm down strong man," Jin laughed, "Get the boy water while I talk to him." Taehyung nodded and ran out of the room.

"Your wolf is getting really weak. Nova has been taking all your hits and that's bound to do some damage on him. I mean you go hurt a lot bum," Jin said sitting next to him.

"We just need to find out who did this and their motives," he continued.

"I'm back," Taehyung announced with a cup of water. Behind him was all the boys with concerned faces.

"Here's some pain medication and water," Jin said handing him the pills while his mate gave him the water. Jungkook put the pills in his mouth and took it with the whole cup of water.

Sehun walked into the medical room with flowers in his hand. Taehyung growled seeing the male he despised.

"What are you doing here?" he sneered.

"I'm making Jungkook is okay," he answered walking over to hand Jungkook the flowers. But before he could Taehyung tore the flowers away and held onto for him.

"Anyways," Yoongi said rolling his eyes, "What happened to Jungkookie?"

Jin took a deep breath knowing how the boys would react, "He was poisoned."

Jimin let a loud gasp as everyone else remained deadly silent.

"He was what?" Yoongi said eyes turning yellow.

"Hyungie," Jungkook croaked hoping his brother would calm down. Yoongi ignored his cry and turned to face Taehyung dead in the eye.

"I saw him take a water from your cooler and drink it," Yoongi said stalking towards the younger, "What did you do to him!"

"You think I would purposely hurt my mate," Taehyung growled getting closer.

"It's not like you haven't before," Yoongi laughed sarcastically.

"Calm down both of you," Yugyeom said in an Alpha voice knowing Yoongi would submit and he did.

"We don't know how did it," Bambam added crossing his arms.

"It could be anyone," Jimin said sighing.

"It sure as hell wasn't me," Taehyung stated, "I would never hurt my baby again."

"Who hates Jungkook?" Namjoon asked.

"No one, everyone loves him," Hoseok answered with a smile.

"One person doesn't like him," Bambam added.

"Who?" Taehyung asked cracking his knuckles along with Yoongi.

"You guys are dumb Mina hates him," Bambam said rolling his eyes. "I feel like I'm the only one that is actually paying attention to the drama that happens around here."

"Why does she hate him?" Hoseok asked confused about why someone would dislike his bunny.

"He stole her man," Bambam said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

There was silence in the room for a couple of seconds before Taehyung growled and began stomping out of the room.

"What are you doing Alpha?" Namjoon asked grabbing his arm.

"I'm gonna kill a bitch," Taehyung said his eyes turning yellow meaning his wolf was taking over.

"Luca calm down," Jungkook whispered. Taehyung turned to see his mate pouting. His demeanor softened but he was still angry.

"You aren't going," Yoongi said and Jungkook nodded quickly. "Without me." Jungkook let out a sigh. The men in his life were impossible.

"You guys are going to go all apeshit crazy if you two go by yourselves so I'm coming too," Bambam said putting his hands on his hips.

"Okay," Taehyung nodded, "Let's go." He turned around and ran out of the room before someone could stop his again. The other two were trailing behind him as he made his way to Mina's room.

He pushed to door open violently and saw Mina doing her makeup in front of a mirror.

"Hey baby," she purred, "Are you here for a quickie?"

Taehyung growled and pushed her up against the wall with his hand wrapped around her throat, "Why did you hurt my mate?"

"Taehyung let her go," Bambam panted, "She's still pregnant with your baby." Taehyung let her go with a glare.

"I didn't hurt him," Mina laughed crossing her arms brushing her dress down.

"You are the only one who hates him," Yoongi added stalking towards her.

"Oh please, you think he some sort of angel or something," she scoffed, "He's bound to have more enemies."

"Do you know who would? You better tell me if you don't want to be locked up tonight," Yoongi threatened.

"What so special about him anyways," she rolled his eyes. Taehyung and Yoongi both stood still as their eyes widened.

Whoever poisoned Jungkook was after his powers. But who knew about them? They were kept hidden.

I'm sorry I've been super busy. Also sorry if this wasn't good I wrote this when I was tired after doing pre-calc

My birthday was yesterday and Alex wrote a fanfiction for me. That will be the next chapter. Keep in mind he's super weird and it has nothing to do with my story.
