Chapter 23: Flowers and Closure

Third POV

Taehyung woke up feeling a weight on his chest. He opened his eyes and was greeted by a beautiful sight.

His gorgeous mate was asleep in his arms. His lips were parted and his cheeks were puffed out as the light from the window hit his face softly. He wanted to wake up to this every day.

It was then he noticed he had a massive headache and he didn't know how he got into his bed anyways. He felt his mate stir in his arms so he loosened up his grip slightly.

"Good morning Angel," Taehyung greeted with a smile as Jungkook opened his eyes.

"It's too early for this," Jungkook groaned trying to get out from his arms which were impossible since Taehyung tightened his hold.

"I was wondering," Taehyung whispered into his ear, "Why am I in your bed and have a massive headache?"

Jungkook giggled, "You were drunk last night and stumbled into my room acting cute and stuff. Then you told me about Bogum."

Taehyung tensed, "I told you about Bogum?"

Jungkook turned to look at him, "Did you not want to tell me?"

"Not it's not like that baby. I just hoped to tell you while I was sober," Taehyung admitted.

"I'm glad you told me but that doesn't mean I forgive you or anybody just yet," Jungkook said before closing his eyes. There was a knock at the door and he groaned.

Taehyung immediately knew who it was since he helped plan this. Before he got drunk he got together with Jungkook's group and talked about a surprise for the boy. When he approached them he knew they all hated him because of what he did in the past. Even his brother who was supposed to be leaving the day after tomorrow. But the couple decided to stay another week to make sure Jungkook was okay.

"Come in," Taehyung yelled at the door.

They all entered with a variety of items in their hands. Jin held banana milk, Namjoon had flowers as well as Hoseok. Yoongi held a box while Jimin held one of many stuffed animals Jungkook's parents got the boy. The younger couple both held picnic baskets.

"What do you guys want?" Jungkook asked with a small glare.

"I know we upset you," Namjoon started as Yoongi looked down at his feet, "So we want to make it up to you."

"With what?" Jungkook asked sitting up.

"We were thinking a picnic at the cemetery?" Jin asked. Jungkook went silent for what seemed like hours before he nodded.

"Okay," Jungkook sighed as he climbed out of bed. He headed towards his bathroom and Jin set the milk down on the table. They all hurried out of the room including Taehyung.

Jungkook hasn't forgiven anyone yet but he was going to get closure with his parents.

The boys stepped out of the car and headed towards the hill where they were buried along with Taehyung's parents. Jungkook's heart sunk as they got closer after everything settled in. His parents were really gone and would never see them again. His eyes were watering and grabbed the closest person to him.

He held onto Taehyung's arm tightly as they approached the hill. Jin set the blanket down and everyone helped him set up the food. Meanwhile, Taehyung led Jungkook to the grave with Yoongi following behind him. Jungkook cried and fell down onto his knees in front of the stone. Taehyung got down and comforted his mate.

"Hi mom and dad," Yoongi whispered getting down as well. Jungkook looked up at his brother as he talked and saw his eyes watering as well. His brother was known to be cold-hearted but Jungkook knew this was never true.

Jungkook launched himself at his brother. He accepted the hug and they cried together.

The alpha and beta's graves were next to each other so Taehyung sat next to his parent's stones.

"Hey," Taehyung laughed. "Mom if you were here with me right now I know you would slap me for not accepting my mate right away. And Dad you would be scolding me about everything that has happened."

"I think that's very true," Bambam chuckled sitting next to his brother. "Mom and Dad would totally do that but I think they would be proud of you as well. You kind of fixed your mistakes and actually have a heart."

"Shut up," Taehyung laughed pushing his brother.

During this time Jungkook and Yoongi dried their tears and looked at the graves.

"Hello," Jungkook croaked. Hoseok and Namjoon handed them the flowers and sat down with Jin on the blanket.

Jungkook took the flowers and carefully placed them in between them. "I miss you."

"If I wasn't special and was normal I would have stayed home with you and would get to see you these past few years," Jungkook cried.

"Don't say that Bun," Yoongi scolded as he hugged his crying brother. "They are still proud of how much you have accomplished being away."

"Thank you," he whispered sitting up straight.

"I have a mate now," Jungkook giggled half-heartedly, "He's stupid but its okay."

"Hey," Taehyung fake whined as he sat down next to him.

"It's true," Jungkook shrugged.

"Come over here and eat Kookie," Jin said from the blanket. They all stood up and walked over the food except for Taehyung.

"I hope it's okay that I'm falling in love with your son very hard," Taehyung whispered before getting up and joining everyone. They sat down together and chatted quietly as they admired the clear sunny day.

"Do you think they heard me?" Jungkook asked Taehyung while everyone was talking.

"I'm sure they did," he smiled.

"You need to eat up little one," Jin said pointing at Jungkook, "You haven't eaten for a while."

"Okay Hyungie," Jungkook said reaching over for the sandwiches.

"The new years' party is tonight," Bambam stated.

"Are we going?" Yugyeom asked.

"I think we are all required to," Hoseok laughed.

"Are you okay to party Kookie?" Namjoon asked the boy as he was eating.

"I think so," he answered truthfully with a mouth full of food.

"No talking while eating," Jin scolded playfully as he picked up a sandwich as well. Jungkook giggled and chew overdramatically.

"So Yoongi did this thing where we were walking right and then a rouge came and Yoongi smacked the shit out of it," Jimin began. "And then I looked him straight in the eyes and said I would suck his dick out of respect."

Jungkook choked on his sandwich and Taehyung patted his back.

"And then he said to do it no balls and then I said bet," Jimin continued as Jungkook covered his ears, "And then I went down on his balls."

"Jimin we are eating!" Jin yelled, "I could have lived not knowing that."

"I thought it was funny," he shrugged as Yoongi rolled his eyes. Jungkook uncovered his ears and let out a huge breath he didn't know he was holding.

Jungkook began talking about what he wanted to next year and telling stories about things that happened when he was at a different pack. His eyes were shimmering again and his smile had a slight realness to it. But Yoongi noticed something else.

Taehyung was staring at his brother like everything he was saying was the most important thing you would ever hear. And at that moment he knew that they would be okay.

So this is a filler chapter the next one will be a lot more interesting

This was kind of a mess because I had to rewrite it

I'm planning on finishing this around 30 chapters

And then I'm staring a new werewolf book set in high school with Top tae ;)
