Chapter 21: Birthday Part 2

Third POV

He adjusted his suit as he locked eyes with himself in the mirror. His hair was parted down the center exposing his forehead. His lips were tinted pink and his brown eyes shimmered with the light.

Tonight's ball was going to be very extravagant. There were said to be hundreds of people filling the ballroom. Every female in the room hoped they would be the Alpha's mate but no one knew he already found him.

"Hey, Kookie are you done?" Jimin asked as he barged into his room.

"Does he know how to knock," Jungkook thought.

"I do but I refuse to follow the rules," Jimin huffed.

"Stop invading my mind," Jungkook whined.

"Anyways we gotta head downstairs the party already started," Jimin said pulling on Jungkook's sleeve.

"Okay," Jungkook sighed letting himself get dragged by Jimin.

They walked to the ballroom hand in hand. As soon as they entered they were greeted by the sight of many dancing and talking. They saw their group near the food table looking like they were in an intense conversation. They made their way over to them.

"Hey," Jungkook greeted.

"Aww you look so cute," Jin cooed at the younger.

"Thank you," Jungkook grinned.

"What were you guys talking about?" Jimin asked.

"The fact Yoongi has an Oppa kink," Namjoon laughed.

"I don't," Yoongi argued.

"Sure," Jimin giggled walking over to his mate. Yoongi groaned and pulled him to his chest.

"So where is the birthday boy?" Jin asked as he looked at Jungkook.

"Haven't seen him since he was drooling over Kook," Bambam laughed.

"Wait what happened?" Jimin asked genuinely confused.

"Jungkook was walking all sexy and wet from the pool and Taehyung's mouth was wide open," Bambam laughed as he told the story. "Then Taehyung followed him all day like a little puppy.

"You went swimming!" Yoongi exclaimed.

"Yes but I'm alive aren't I?" Jungkook countered.

"Not for long," Yoongi threatened.

"Oh look it's Tae I'm gonna go," Jungkook laughed gesturing to the man standing across the room. He quickly walked over there trying to escape his brother.

As he made his way over he took in the handsome man that was his mate.

His hair was perfectly tousled and there was a smile tugging on his lips when he saw Jungkook approaching him. As he got closer the person Taehyung was talking to walked away and Taehyung pulled him closer and hovered his mouth next to his ear.

"You look delicious baby boy," Taehyung whispered. Jungkook's face immediately turned red and he pulled away.

"Thank you," Jungkook muttered embarrassed, "You look good too."

"Aww," Taehyung pouted, "I was going for sexy." Jungkook's already red face got even darker as he buried his face in his hands.

"Would you like to dance with me, pup?" Taehyung asked holding his hand out.

"Right now in front of everyone," Jungkook asked while he was frozen.

"Yes," Taehyung chuckled his deep velvety laugh. Jungkook slowly nodded and put his hand out to lock hands with the other. Taehyung dragged him onto the dance floor with a grin. He pulled the boy closer so that he had his arms around his small waist and Jungkook's arms were wrapped around his neck.

The song began slowly as the couples made their way to the dance floor. Jungkook carefully rested the side of his face on Taehyung's shoulder as he began humming with the song. They swayed softly with the beats in peace. Sparks coursed through their bodies as they held each other closer.

"You honestly look beautiful tonight," Taehyung whispered.

A grin spread on his face, "Thank you."

As the song came to an end Taehyung gave a small kiss to the boy's head.

"Would you like to accompany me for a walk in the garden?" Taehyung asked bowing.

"Of course," he giggled as Taehyung wrapped his arm around his waist and led them outside the ballroom.

They chatted quietly in the moonlight. They approached a bench in the middle of the garden and sat down.

"This is where you rejected me," Jungkook muttered as Taehyung winced.

"I'm sorry," he apologized.

"You left me out here in the rain where I passed out," Jungkook continued.

"And I will apologize for that as long as we live," Taehyung said genuinely.

Dumbass. Luca growled.

Jeez, Luca do you ever shut up. Nova groaned. They are having a moment.

I'm sorry. Luca whined. Come back.

"Did our wolves just have a conversation?" Jungkook asked confused.

"You heard that too?" Taehyung chuckled. Jungkook smiled gently at the sound of his mate's laugh.

"Shouldn't we get back to your party birthday boy?" Jungkook giggled.

"I have everything I want right next to me," Taehyung winked causing him to roll his eyes. "Actually I really want one more thing?"

"What is it?" Jungkook questioned.

"Kiss?" Taehyung asked puckering his lips. Jungkook giggled and leaned over to give him a peck on the cheek.

"That's not what I meant," Taehyung pouted. Jungkook sighed and leaned over once again and gave him a quick peck on his lips. He pulled away fast but not fast enough because Taehyung pulled him onto this lap and pulled him into another kiss. This time it was deeper and more passionate. Jungkook groaned as Taehyung's tongue swiped against Jungkook's bottom lip. Jungkook finally complied and opened his mouth letting the older explore.

"Sorry to interrupt," someone coughed. They both turned and looked to see Yoongi standing there.

"What do you want?" Taehyung growled.

"There is a package for Jungkook at the front door," Yoongi growled back.

"Is it important?" Taehyung asked annoyed.

"Not really I just didn't want you touching my brother," Yoongi shrugged his shoulders.

They both stood up and followed Yoongi into the house to the entrance. There was a box on the floor perfectly wrapped. Jungkook leaned over and grabbed the box.

"What if it's a bomb," Jimin gasped as he walked into the room with the others. They always seemed to travel in a group.

"If it is chuck it and run," Namjoon laughed.

"Just open it," Jin groaned, "I'm dying here."

Jungkook sighed at his hyung's behavior and opened the box. Inside the box was a smaller box and a note. He put the larger box on the floor and handed the note to Yoongi to read. He opened the second box and gasped.

Hi Jungkook,

                            Haven't talked in a while. Or have we? I know your secret little wolfie. You are strong and smart. But most importantly powerful. A little too powerful if I might add. Oh, what I would do to obtain your abilities. I've been trying to get you but your weak parents tried to stop me. Obviously, I got rid of them with the snap of my finger.

                            I got you something so you would remember your cowardly parents. I'll see you soon my prince. I'm closer than you think.

Inside the box was his parent's rings.

"They're dead," Jungkook cried looking at his hyungs who stared back not knowing what to do.

"I wanted to tell you but Yoongi stopped me," Taehyung rushed out.

"You knew," Jungkook exclaimed pointing at his brother.

"I'm so sorry bun," Yoongi said looking deep into his eyes.

"Everyone knew?" Jungkook asked tears rolling down his face. They nodded slowly looking down at the floor.

"I hate you guys," Jungkook screamed before running out of the room with tears pouring out.

Jungkook was broken.
