Chapter 20: Birthday Part 1

Third POV

Today was the day.

Taehyung's Birthday.

The day he turns twenty-two to be exact. He had been dreading this day for the past month. But now he feels different. He isn't going to mate with Mina. He's with his mate now. He feels content with life.

"Happy birthday," Jungkook giggled as he ran into the room and jumped onto the unsuspecting boy.

"Thank you," Taehyung grinned taking the boy into his arms feeling the sparks course through his body.

"So what are you doing this morning?" Jungkook asked knowing that he was preparing for the party tonight.

"I have to order people around," he answered letting the boy out of his arms.

"Of course," Jungkook laughed, "I'll be off now I just wanted to be the first to say it."

He smiled fondly watching his mate walk towards the door, "No goodbye kiss?"

"Kiss my ass," Jungkook yelled back.

"Anytime," Taehyung winked at the boy before he shut the door.

Jungkook rolled his eyes and walked down the hallway. As he made his way he saw his brother and best friend in an argument.

"What happened?" Jungkook sighed walking over to the two.

"He won't go the mall with me," Jimin pouted pointing at Yoongi.

"I want to go," Jungkook said eyes widening.

"Now you have a buddy," Yoongi gestured.

"So you are going to let two omegas and one is mateless," Jimin deadpanned, "Go to the mall alone."

"No," Yoongi growled.

"There you have it," Jungkook said, "You have to go."

"But I have to stay and help," Yoongi said trying to argue his way to not go.

"We'll be done in an hour," Jimin answered.

"Please don't make me go," Yoongi begged.

"I can't believe you made me go."

"Oh please, you love us," Jimin sassed.

"Unfortunately," Yoongi mumbled under his breath.

"I heard that," Jimin said swatting Yoongi's arm. Jungkook rolled his eyes watching the couple. When they first got together it took a while for his brain to process that his brother and best friend since diapers were mates. The look on their faces when Jimin turned eighteen was engraved into his mind.

"Come on I want to go shopping," Jungkook whined gesturing to the many stores. They nodded and walked down looking for a store.

"I can't believe they decided to throw a pool party before the actual ball," Jimin complained as they walked into the first shop. The many pack members decided it was a good idea to throw a pool party before the elegant ball.

"I know right it's crazy," Jungkook laughed, "It's not like I almost died yesterday from the water."

"That reminds me," Yoongi chuckled, "You are not allowed in the pool." He said this with the most serious face.

"Oh come on," Jungkook complained as he browsing through some clothes on the rack.

"Just go when he's not looking," Jimin whispered before sending a wink.

"It's not like I am a werewolf or have super hearing or something," Yoongi said rolling his eyes.

"But you are old so you probably need a hearing aid," Jimin giggled. Yoongi rolled his eyes once again.

"Moving on," Yoongi said grabbing his mate's waist to pull him closer with a pout.

"What are you getting Alpha Taehyung?" Jimin asked leaning back and resting his head on Yoongi's chest.

"I have no idea," Jungkook said exasperated, "We just made up yesterday."

"Birthday sex," Jimin winked getting out of his mate's arms to sing the lyrics to the song and began softly twerking. (the song is birthday sex by Jeremih)

"Nope," Yoongi said pulling Jimin back into his arms, "He's not having sex."

"You guys are unbelievable," Jungkook laughed and turned to continue looking for new swimming trunks.

"Why are we having a pool party?" Taehyung asked as he watched everyone pile into the pool from his bedroom window.

"Because you are twenty-two now and we are going to get lit," Bambam laughed. "Go change into your trunks and I'll save you a chair by the pool."

"Fine," Taehyung sighed as he walked into his closet. He shuffled through his many trunks and decided on a red and white striped one. He slipped them on and walked out of his closet. His brother was no longer in the room so he decided to head downstairs. On the way, he got small bows and happy birthdays here and there.

Once he finally made it outside he noticed loud music blaring on the speaker. People chatting with each other and teen boys jumping into the pool. He looked around and saw Bambam sitting with Yugyeom across the pool. There was an empty pool chair just for him. As he walked girls began giggling and whispering to each other.

Taehyung was a fit man. He was the Alpha after all. His abs glistened in the sun and his toned arms flexed as he ran his hand through his hair. He was sought after by many girls of course.

"Sit down before a girl jumps you," Bambam teased as Taehyung got closer.

"Funny," Taehyung said with no emotion as he sat down and leaned back resting his head on top of his hands.

"So I heard you and Jungkook kind of made up," Yugyeom said starting a conversation.

"He's going to court him until Jungkook forgives him," Bambam inputted. Yugyeom nodded and turned to face Taehyung.

"So how is your birthday so far?" Yugyeom asked.

"Busy," Taehyung answered with one word.

"What did Jungkook get you for your birthday?" Bambam asked looking around as his brother was staring towards the pool.

"Thighs."

"Sorry what?" Bambam asked turning to look at his brother who had his mouth open like a fish. He looked around for what caused him to react like this. And then he saw it.

Jungkook, who was wearing cute blue swim trunks, was walking out of the pool like a model on a magazine. His perfectly carved abs covered in water and his thigh muscles flexing in each step. He looked completely innocent yet ravishing at the same time. 

"Fuck it up skinny legend," Bambam yelled dramatically at the younger.

"You have the weirdest reactions," Yugyeom laughed. Jungkook had the cutest bunny smile on as he made his way to the three.

"Hi," Jungkook chirped.

"Hello," Bambam greeted. He turned and saw his brother with his mouth still open. "Close your mouth." He reached over and pushed his chin up so his mouth would close.

"Hi Tae Tae," Jungkook smiled.

"H-Hi," Taehyung said clearing his throat.

"Do you want to go swimming?" Jungkook asked gesturing to the pool. Taehyung eagerly nodded and followed his mate into the pool like a little puppy.
