*Amber's Pov*

"And stay on the floor your blonde haired freak"Said Danielle.

Right now i was being pushed to the floor by the meanest girls in school.They hated me and so did almost everyone else.I was different because i was the runt and because my wolf form was different from my human form.People saw that as disgusting and weird, hence the name "blonde haired freak".

Once the girls left i gathered my books from the floor and continued to walk home.Suddenly i smelled something weird,and not the bad kind of weird.It smelled like lavender and lilac and my nose was hungry for it.

'I think you just found your mate amy' said my inner wolf,Lucy.

"Yeah maybe,lets go see who it is"i said as i followed the smell to what looked like a skate park.There i saw caleb,the most popular boy in school surrounded by tons of girls.I kept following the smell until i was right in front of him.

"Ugh,What do you want?"Said caleb as he looked at me in disgust.

"Your my mate,my inner wolf told me so"I said trying to sound confident.

"You,my mate Ha!,you can't be my mate!You're nothing more then just a fat,little shrimp!"said caleb through his laughter.

"W-what do you mean I'm not your mate!?"i said tears forming in my eyes.

"This is exactly why,you cry over almost everything,You have ZERO friends,your as fat as a pig, and on top of all that your the runt!"

Suddenly Danielle came out of no where and kissed caleb on the cheek.She looked over to me with a devilish grin.

"See Danielle?She is my mate,i love her not you which is why i,Caleb James Barkwood,Reject you as my mate.

Right as he said that my heart shattered.I couldn't believe that my mate rejected me.All of the girls around caleb started to laugh and point at me.Danielle proceed to make out with caleb right in front of my face while the tears just streamed out of my eyes.

I ran all the way to my house and packed my things.I wasn't going to stay in a pack where i wasn't wanted or respected.I only grabbed my chains and my necklace that my parents gave me for my birthday.I wrote them a note saying that i was leaving.

Dear mom,dad and Darcy,

'Im sorry for doing this to you but i can't stand living here with no respect what so ever.I met my mate to day,but he rejected me,just like that.He made out with another girl right in front of me.Im just the little runt that no one wants.I hope you don't send for me to come back.Im not ever sure when i will be back,maybe never.But always know that i always loved you guys and you will always be in my heart.

I will miss you,but i think this is for the best,

After i finished writing my letter i left, on the search for a new pack,new family and maybe even..............

a new mate.
