*Amber's Pov*

I'm woken up with the sound of growling.I sit up to see Danielle next to the crib with her wolf fangs out.

I spring up from the bed and attack.I shift and tackle her to the ground.

"Dont you even think you're allowed near my kids" i growl.

"What a shame they wont have their mom anymore,your dying today" says Danielle as she shifts under me knocking me over.

The piercing cries of Iris and Connor muffle the sounds of tearing flesh and growling.

Suddenly Danielle grabs me by my neck.I yelp as i fall to the ground.

"Looks like this is it for you, and afterwards your kids are next.This is your punishment, for leaving and for taking caleb away from me.Without you he will finally love me and forget about you" said Danielle as she bites deeper into my neck.

Suddenly i see jackson run in and tackle Danielle making her let go of me.

"If you want her your gonna have to go through me" said jackson as he shifted.

"With pleasure" as Danielle attacks

I shift back into my human form and stumble to my feet.I limp over to the crib to see the twins still crying.I pick them up and hold them close.

"Thank moongoddes jackson heard your cries" i whisper until i hear the a whimper.

I see Danielle backing up into the corner of the room and jackson closing in on her with blood stained teeth.

I look into Danielle's eye to see no fear but something else:evil.She planned this.Jackson looks back at me and i see Danielle smirk

"Jackson look out!" i yell but it was too late.

Danielle lunged at jackson tackling him and grabbing hold of his neck biting hard.My eyes widen as i hear him whisper.

"Go to caleb, it's over for me.I love you my spark of fire" as the life fade from his eyes.

"JACKSON!" i scream as i fall to me knees with the kids in my arms.

Danielle proceeds to rip out his throat right infront of me.I could feel my heart break as i see his blood all over the floor.

"What's going on in he- Danielle what did you do?!?" yells caleb running in.

Danielle shifts into her human to show a shocked expression.

"C-Caleb, its not what is looks like!" she yells.

"You just killed the alpha!, Do you know what the punishment for that is?" caleb yells as he slowly looks at me.

I sit infront of jackson's limp body and just stare.My eyes wide as tears freefall down my cheeks.

"Jackson....." the only word i can say.

Caleb calls a few men to take Danielle to the dungeon while he stands in the door way.

"Jackson! im sorry, im so sorry!" i cry out.

The tears are uncontrollable as the children lay on the bed.

I grab my hair and continue to sob when i feel a warm embrace.Sparks fly throughout my body as caleb hugs me.

"Im so sorry amber" he whispers in my ear as he hugs me gently.

"He died, he died because of me!" i scream as i get up!.

"No! he died because of Danielle" said caleb.

"If it weren't for me then Danielle wouldn't be here, and jackson would have been alive, its my fault!" i scream as  i walk over to the bed. A baby carrier was in sight so i grabbed it.

"Amber what are you doing"

I put Iris and Connor in the baby carrier and shift.The kids are strapped on my back so they wont fall when i run.

Tears still run down my face as i jump through the open window.I could her caleb yell my name as i land on the ground.I look back to see the kids are safe.

"Kids, we are going on a trip, we will be home....someday just not soon" i say to them as i run though the forest.

*Caleb's Pov*

"Amber!" i yell as she jumps out the window with the kids strapped on her back.

I run out of the house to see her look at her kids and run into the forest.A low growl erupts from my throat as i think of what Danielle has done.

I walk into the dungeon below the house to see Danielle chained up by her arms and legs.

"Caleb, i did this for you! Amber was just in the way" said Danielle.

the sound of my hand slapping Danielle echoed throughout the dungeon.

"Dont you ever disrespect her.You  didnt just kill the alpha , you killed the father of my mates children." i growl.

"He wasn't supposed to die, he got in the way, it would have been amber that died" she growls back.

I punch Danielle so hard i hear something crack.

"You will stay down here and rot until you die, its your fault amber is now missing" i growl.

"You can't leave me down here, Caleb i did this for you!" she yells.

" YOU DID IT FOR YOURSELF" i  yell.Danielle whimpers and lowers her head.

"Like i said, You will stay here and have a slow and painful death.Until Amber is found you will be punished and treated as a rouge.You are no longer a part of this pack" i say as Danielle screams in pain as the pack bond within her broke.

I slowly walk upstairs and lock the dungeon doors to see Darcy.She has tear in her eyes as she looks at me.

"P-Please you have to find her!I just got her back i don't wanna lose her again!" cries Darcy.

"I'll find her, even if it's the last thing i do" i say as i walk outside.

I call my beta and my third in command(Wendall and Tony) and we start searching.

Suddenly  i get mindlinked.

'Sir her scent  is past this packs territory, its going towards our packs territory' says wendall.

"Of course! she must be going home to her parents.It is the only place she felt safe before she left"

'Follow her scent, we will stop at nothing to find her'

'Yes Alpha Caleb'

'We will find you amber...

'And when we do, Ill keep you safe'
