*Amber's Pov*

*5 Months later*

Once the twins were born, i didn't get any sleep.I would always have to wake up an hour later to feed them or calm them down.I wasn't mad, just exhausted. I loved my babies, i just wish they were more quiet.I wasn't all bad, in fact my life was perfect.Iris didn't cry unless she was hungry of fussy, which i liked,such a quiet baby.Connor on the other hand was so rambunctious,even as an infant! He cried, he kicked and he screamed.I was glad he was expressing his emotions but moon goddess he was loud!

I woke up monday morning to silence.I panicked a bit cause it was never this quiet with the twins here.I jumped out of bed and dashed over to the twins room to see Caleb holding Iris and connor in his arms.

"What are you doing with my kids?" i said sternly as i walked over to him and took my kids from him.I placed them on both of my hips and looked at them.Iris had a goofy no tooth grin as she clapped her hands in amusement.Connor was laughing and clapping his hands as he made grabby hands at caleb.

"I was just quieting them down,they're a rowdy bunch, ya know?" said caleb.

"Yeah i know but still you still don't have the right to touch my kids,your not at that level where you can touch the things that are precious to me" i said walking towards the door.

"Well, what level am i at then,You didn't tell me you were pregnant and i had to wait until you brought the twins home.You don't tell me anything so what level am i at amber?What happened to us being mates?You had kids with another guy for moon goddess sake!" said caleb yelling at me making the twins cry.

I growled at him and turned away.There were tears in my eyes but i couldnt let him see.He was right,He was my mate and i did love him, i just couldnt forgive him and i couldnt leave jackson.

"You wanna know what happened?didn't we go over this?You.Rejected.Me.I bet you just want me now because i look different.Well guess what.I love being with jackson, he loves me for me and all you do i hurt me.I loved you Caleb but you just took my love and ripped it to shreds on that day.I dont think i could ever forgive you!So dont come to me with that'What happened to us being mates' crap" i said as i hushed iris and conner as their cries turned into sniffles.

I walked out leaving caleb speechless.He looked hurt, and i knew he was.I pained me to say thos words but i just had to.I didn't talk to caleb after the twins were born.Jackson Purposed to me, i said yes.I had to forget about caleb,Jackson was my fiancé i cant go loving another boy when i have my husband and kids.

i walked downstairs with my kids on my hip when i passed danielle.

"well bitch, looks like caleb is mine, you have two future failures as kids and one disappointment as a fiancé "said danielle laughing

"You see Danielle, i'm not a b word and btw lets keep this pg cause my kids who will make me proud are here. This is exactly why caleb hasn't been talking or 'having fun' with you lately.He still wants me but he has to see that he still has his barbie doll of a girlfriend.So guess what? you can have him, have kids with him and marry him.Go and create your own life with him cause once your pack is done training, which is next month, i'm gonna enjoy kicking your plastic butt off my territory" i said walking away towards the kitchen.

Once int he kitchen Iris and Connor start to cry and i realized that they haven't eaten yet.I start heating up their bottles when jackson walked in.

"Feeding the kids?" asked jackson tickling connor making him giggle.

"Yeah, then afterwards they're gonna take a nap" as i grabbed the now warm bottles and put them on the counter.I put the kids in their high chairs and put their bottles next to them.The grabbed their bottles and began to drink.Of course Connor Quickly finishes his and i burp him as he yawns.Iris takes her time as she drinks.She suddenly stops and begins to cough.

"Aww Iris you don't have to finish so fast like connor. Take your time baby" as i patted her back and helped her finish her milk.

Once done i burped her and she yawned as well.

"Welp, nap time at 11:00, thats a record beaten" said jackson as i laughed.

"You know i can put them down for their nap this time" said  jackson taking connor from me.I take himm back im my arms as he rests his head in the crook of my neck.

"Im fine with nap time with the kids,I like it.Plus i want to sing for them"I said blushing.

"I wanna here you sing for them one day" said jackson grinning.

"One day, jackson one day" as i walked upstairs to the twins room.

By the time i was there the twins were asleep,Their heads in the crook of my neck.

"My two angels tire out so fast" as i put them in their crib.

As soon as i laid them down their eye shot open and tears were in the corners of their eyes.They began to fuss but i wasn't worried,I just began to sing.

There was a time
I used to look into my father's eyes.

I was a queen, I had a golden throne.

*Caleb's pov*

I went to my room and thought about what amber said.I really broke her.I dazed off into space for a few minutes when i suddenly i heard the sound of singing from the next room.

I walked towards the room to see the twins in their crib and amber singing to them,just the sound of her voice was music to my ears...

I When i heard those lyrics i knew she was talking about me, i was distraught .I broke her heart.

*Amber's pov* 

I continued to sing as the twin slowly closed their tired eyes.

My father said,

Once i finished the twins were sound asleep and that sure was music to my ears.

I look around there room to see a bed that we use to sleep near the twins.I laid down and i slowly let darkness take over but i also remembered i the song i just sang and thought.

'That song kinda represents my life and caleb,but i cant change anything about it,or can i?'

I brushed it off as i slowly fell asleep playing the song over in my head and the last thing i thought was.....
