Night time

Neil went back to his home and saw Avni arranging dinner for them. He went from behind and engulfed her in a warm hug. He place his chin on her shoulder and nuzzles in the nape of her neck. Avni closes her eyes in anticipation.

Avni - Neil...what are you doing... ( hitched breathe ).

Neil - Romancing with my girl. You have any problem. ( husky voice ).

Avni - Neil...

Neil - Hmm ( still nuzzling her neck ).

Avni - Leave me baba.

Neil - Okay fine. ( pouts ).

He turns her around and made her face him.

Avni - How was your day ?

Neil - You made my morning beautiful and when morning was great then the day was best. ( smiles ).

Avni - You go and freshen up after that we will have our dinner.

Neil nods and left. After sometime he comes and sits there. Avni was about to serve him but he made her sit and served both of them.

Neil - Where is dad ?

Avni - He has an important meeting so he called me for informing that he will come late and have dinner with his clients.

Neil - Okay. After dinner we are going somewhere.

Avni - Again. What's going on  in your devilish brain ?

Neil chuckles.

Neil - You will get to know this pretty soon to be wifey. ( winks at her ).

Avni - You know sometimes I get scared.

Neil - Scared of what ?

Avni - So much happiness after a long time always scares me Neil. Sometimes I feel like as if you are showering all that love and care on me that was missing in my childhood and seeing my past I always ends up thinking what if it's a temporary happiness.

Neil - Don't you dare to think about that. Avni, I know your past keeps on haunting you but you need to face it like you faced Dayavanti in the morning.

He cups her cheeks and plants a soft kiss on her forehead.

Neil - You know why are you feeling happy ?

Avni - Cos you are filling my life with happiness.

Neil - Wrong.

Avni gets confuse.

Neil - You are feeling happy because you are giving yourself a chance.

Avni - A chance. ( confused )

Neil - Chance to break all those walls that clenches your inner peace, chance to fight against each and everything that bothers you, chance to connect with your hidden self, chance to explore the unknown phases, chance to fill your own life with happiness.

Avni smiles.

Neil - You are happy cos you want to be. I know this fear is somewhere bothering you but we will cross this rough patch as well. I promise I will give you the life you dreamt of since  your childhood.

Avni - You already gave me that fairy tale life Neil and you are my knight in shiny armour.

Neil hugs her.

Neil - And you are my everything.

He breaks the hug and feeds her food with his hands and she also did the same.

After sometime, Neil took her somewhere.

After they reached there, Avni was amazed after seeing the vacant plot in a posh area.

Avni - Neil this... ( confused ).

Neil - You like this area. ( smiles ).

Avni - Yeah !! But why are we here ? I mean.. ( Neil cuts her off ).

Neil - After Dayavanti's case, we will establish your own art gallery.

Avni was shocked.

Neil - Your art gallery will be constructed on this plot. ( smiles ).

Avni's eyes filled with tears.

Avni - My o..w...n  art....gallery... ( fumbles ).

Neil - Yes. Your own art gallery. I always  wanted  you to start your career when the right time will come and now you are ready. Ready for establishing your own gallery.

Avni - I would be able to do it. Right ? ( teary eyes ).

Neil - You can and you will. Afterall the hidden artist inside you needs a grand entry in this world. ( smiles ).

Avni chuckles.

Neil - You will do it Avni. Believe me. After the court battle we will decide each and everything related to your gallery. You know how much excited am I ? ( excitedly ).

Avni - You are more excited than me. ( smiles ).

Neil - It's obvious sweetheart. Afterall people will know me through your name. They will say, Hi Mr. Neil Khanna, your wife Mrs. Avni Khanna no no Mrs. Avni Neil Khanna is an amazing artist. I will give you special protection as well so that none of your male fan would be able to come closer to you. ( excitedly ).

Avni - Already jealous of my invisible male fans. ( chuckles )

Neil - It's obvious Avni. Just think your paintings are amazing and you also look ravishing so I have to be extra focused.

Avni - No one can take your place.

Neil - That I know very well. ( flaunting his invisible collars ).

Avni - How ?

Neil - Cos no one is as lucky as me. ( smiles )

Avni was having tears in her eyes, she cups his face.

Avni - For you my happiness means the most. Why are you so selfless Neil ?

Neil - For me our happiness matters the most. In which half portion is of your happiness and the other half is of that happiness which I get after seeing you happy. If you want to keep me happy then you have to keep yourself happy.

Avni - I am the world's luckiest girl.

Neil - And I am a world's happiest man.

Avni - Tomorrow will be a tough day.

Neil - But you would be able to face everything. I am with you, dad is with you. We both won't let you fall.

Avni - And I wont disappoint you both.

Neil - I love you.

Avni - I love you more. ( pouts ).

Neil chuckles.

Neil - Then you have to gift me something.

Avni - I hope you are not thinking through your single track mind.

Neil chuckles at her antics.

Neil - Well, I wasn't thinking through my single track mind but.

He pulls her close to him by her waist and looks into her eyes naughtily.

Neil - If you want I can think in that way as well. You know na, I am ever ready. ( huskily ).

Avni - No, don't think through your single track mind.

Neil - ( smiles ) I want to be your first customer as well. I mean, you will sell your first painting to me. Right ?

Avni - You don't need to ask me, just command I will do anything for you.

Neil - Really, you will do anything for  me. ( naughty ).

Avni - Neil....you... a...re... you are  going towards your single track mind...

Neil - Yes baby, this mind works only in front of you. ( winks at her ).

He leans closer to her face and she closes her eyes in anticipation. He smiles and kisses her cheek. She opens her eyes and find him smiling. She felt an unusual pull towards him and she ends up claiming his lips in a soft kiss. He was shocked at first but started responding. The kiss was gentle yet passionate. Both were pouring their love for each other. Neil was thinking how their life took a beautiful turn. He is blessed to have her in her life while on the other side, Avni was thinking that she won't led Neil down. She will always cherish him not because he gave her a new life but for making her fall for himself that too badly. She want to hold him closer for the entire life and he want to protect her from the cruel world.

After what felt like ages, they broke the kiss and rested their foreheads against each other.

Avni - Will you be my soulmate Neil ?

Neil - I am already yours in every sense. You have every right on me.
