Y/N's P.O.V

I woke up to the sound of my best friend in the whole wide world, my alarm.

Note my sarcasm.

I groaned as I dragged myself to the bathroom and when my eyes landed on the mirror, I couldn't help but gasp at the way I look.

My eyes were puffy, swollen and red from crying myself to sleep and I had prominent eye bags. I looked devastated. I washed my face thrice to try and look better. And that's when I remembered.

I'm moving out.. I have to tell Eomma today.. should I really do this? I'm not sure I've thought it through.. I can't make a decision like this overnight.. maybe.. I'll wait for a few days, think about it and then decide.

I really didn't want to spend the day inside when it's a weekend so I decided to meet Lisa. Last night, she said that the whole group was meeting up to have a fun day out. She invited me and so I agreed.. I needed a break from this stress..

I rummaged through my wardrobe, trying to find the perfect outfit to go with a day like this.

At that moment, I received a text from Lisa.

Almost! I just chose an outfit.

In record time, I put on my outfit, brushed by hair and applied light makeup before rushing out my room to the kitchen. I saw my breakfast already made and Eomma sitting on the other side of the table eating.

" Good morning "
She said in a low voice.
" G'mornin "
I said monotonously.
She finally looked up from her plate and towards me and that's when I saw that she had dark circles and prominent eye bags.

She didn't sleep...

She let out a small smile and said,
" Y-you look nice today. Are you going to meet up with Lisa? "
I nodded my head and replied,
" Yea.. she's bringing her friends and we're all going out.. "
" That's great.. please be safe. "
I scoffed at her words.
" Not like you care anyways. "

She looked up from her plate again and I could see her eyes beginning to well with tears. My heart clenched at the sight but her words from last night forced me to push aside the feelings I have for her.

" Y-Y/N... I do care.. listen last night I- "
" I don't wanna talk about this now. "
" O-ok.. but just know that I care.. I really do. "
I nodded and finished my breakfast and walked outside towards the café.
As I walked down the streets, thoughts about everything that's been happening swarmed through my mind.

I've left the place I love the most..
I've lost my happiness...
Night is gone..
I have no idea how to get him back..
Mom and dad never wanted me..

And that's when something struck me.

If.. if night is gone, then how do I get into the riding academy? My only option is to buy the horses but they would be crazy expensive..

I sighed and ran my fingers through my hair..

Ok Y/N.. stop worrying. You've come out to have a fun day today. Be happy. Stop thinking about all the negative things in life. Pull yourself together. You can do this.

I continued walking and saw a familiar group outside the café. Gigi was the first to notice me and she came running and screaming to me like a crazy person.

" Y/NNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!! "
I tried to dodge her death hug but failed.
" I missed youuuuuu !! "
I felt my bones crushing by her grip.
" You're killing me. "
I managed to get out the words and she let go.
" My bad. " She laughed and grabbed my hand and took me to the others.

I looked around and observed the people I would be going with..
Lisa, Gigi, Megs, Jungkook, another guy that I don't know and....... Jimin.

I nudged Lisa and whispered, " I didn't know jimin was coming. "
" Of course he is! He's jungkook's best friend. He has to come. "
I sighed and said " fine... But who's that guy? "

And right on cue, he walks up to me and holds out his hand for a handshake.
" Hey! You must be Y/N... I'm Taehyung. But you can call me Tae. "
He said to me with a boxy smile.

Adorable!!
I shook his hand and said " Nice to meet you Tae. "

His adorable smile changes to a smirk of mischief when he says, " Well Y/N.. I've heard a lot about you from- "
And before he could finish, Jimin jumped onto his back and cupped his hand on taehyung's mouth. I looked at Jimin and he had pink tinted cheeks.

His shy expression changed to one of disgust.
" EW !!!!! " He pulled his hand away from Tae's mouth and wiped it on his T-shirt. I laughed at the sight and guessed that Tae licked his hand.

" Ok.. so shall we get going? " Megs says.
Everyone shouts in unison, " YES!!! " gaining a few stares from people walking by.
" Where are we going? " I asked.
Out of nowhere, Jimin pops up next to me and says,
" We don't know. Lisa and Megs planned this whole thing out. "
" Oh ok.. "
" So is your horse back? "
Uh oh.. what do I say?
" U-umm.. he uh.. we couldn't get him this week due to some problems.. "
He looked at me with an amused face.
" What? " I asked
" That seems like a lame excuse. "
" Oh shut up " I say and punch him playfully.

He winces and holds his hand and pretends to feel hurt.
" Don't mess with these guns. " I said, patting my 'biceps'.
" More like noodles. " He says, and earns another punch from me.
" Anyways, what breed is Night? "
" He's a mix between a Jeju horse and Thoroughbred. "
His jaw drops and eyes seem like they might pop out of his head at any moment.

" What? "
" Are you kidding me? That's a really rare breed!! My uncle imported one a few days ago. "
I furrow my eyebrows in confusion.
" You're uncle imported a horse like that? Did you get to see the horse? "
" Oh yea. It was a beauty. It even had a mark on its head that looked like a heart. "
I stopped walking immediately and covered my mouth with both my hands.
Jimin looked at me with concern.
" Y/N what is it? "

No... It's not possible.. could it be?

Without saying a word, I unlocked my phone and with trembling hands clicked a picture of Night and showed it to Jimin..
