Lisa chuckles and says " He isn't all that bad.. I've spoken to him sometimes.. he's just arrogant and cocky sometimes. "
" Whatever.. anyways Lisa, what do you work as? "
" I take care of the horses.. the feeding, brushing, cleaning, Bla Bla Bla ... "
" Oh cool ! "
" No. Not cool. You try cleaning up horse poop and then talk. "
I burst out in laughter and say, " You do that too ?! "
" All part of the package. YAH stop laughing !!!! It's not funny !!! "
I couldn't stop the imagination of Lisa cleaning horse poop in my brain.

"Aish. Anyways Y/N, are u thinking of joining this place? "
Its really beautiful...
" Yea it will be perfect for Night.. "
" Night? "
I facepalm myself at the fact that I DIDN'T TELL LISA ABOUT NIGHT.
" He's my horse "
" YOUR HORSE?!" She smacked me on my arm and said " why didn't you tell me ! I wanna see him pleaseeeee!! "
" Ok ok ! I might get him back from Seoul in a few weeks after eomma gets a job "
" Oh ok "

" Don't you wanna get into racing Lisa?"
" Although I would love to, the fees are really expensive "
Without thinking twice, I say
" You can ask your parents to pay for you.. "
Immediately, an awkward and uncomfortable aura radiated off her.
" Uhm.. my dad died from cancer a year ago so.. only my mom is working and she's trying to manage everything.. I don't want to burden her with more expenses.. "
I regretted my words instantly and held her hand..
" Oh Lisa I'm so- "
" It's ok.. I don't mind telling you about it... You're my best friend after all !! "
Those words rang loud and clear in my head..
You're my best friend... Well maybe we aren't so different after all.. both of our families are broken.. the only thing different is that her father actually loved her..
Before the depressing thoughts take over my mind, I push them all out instantly.

Lisa grabs my hand and takes me to the stables " Come on. I want you to meet my friends! "
More friends?
She walks into the stables and shouts " YO GUYS WHERE ARE YOU ??! "

A boy walks out of the stables with his hands over his ears.. He had brown hair and dark doe eyes.
Damn he looks- Y/N. Stop. Damn it.
" Sheesh Lisa.. don't make my ears bleed "..
She hit him and said " oh shut up Jungkook " (GoLdEn MaKnAe In ThE hOuSe).

He looks at me and smiles.
HE'S AN ADORABLE BUNNYYY
" Hey. New rider? "
" Uh yes.. I'm Y/N "
" I'm jungkook " he holds out his hand for a handshake and I take it.
" Where are the others? " Lisa asks.
" They're in Firefly's stable "
" Ok. Come on y/n !! "
" Wait up !! I'm coming too ! " Jungkook shouts and jogs up to us.

We go to a stable that has the words engraved in gold " Firefly "
There were three girls inside and they squealed and hugged Lisa when they saw her.
" Ok ok damn I was only gone for like an hour. Anyways, I'd like you to meet Y/N. I met her at the café and she'll be joining the stables for races. "
One of the girls stepped forward and said, " Hi! I'm Nayeon! And this is Gigi and Megs. "
The two girls behind Nayeon shyly waved and I could see that Nayeon was the confident one out of the three.
" Nice to meet you " I smiled.

Then we heard a loud neigh. I looked behind them and saw a large built brown horse.

I walked over to him and pet him. " So I'm guessing this is Firefly? "
Jungkook nodded his head. " Yeap. The one and only. He's a racing legend around here. He's won more medals than any of the other horses. "

A familiar voice from behind us said, " Well what about his rider? Isn't he a legend too? I turned around only to be faced with the same hot jerk from before. Jimin.

(Imagine him like this but with the ash brown hair)

Jungkook smacked his shoulder " Oh come on Hyung. We all know you're the best. "

With that comment, jimin looked at me with a smirk on his face. " I don't want you near my horse pretty gurl "
" Whatever, I have a name you know."
" Well then, introduce yourself ! "
I rolled  my eyes and said " Y/N " and held out my hand for a handshake.
He scoffed and walked past me to his horse. " Pretty sure you already know who I am. "

Just before I could say something back, a voice on a speaker said, " Dressage practice for Thoroughbred riders! "
Gigi and Nayeon turned to us and say, " Well, that's our cue. See you later guys! Nice meeting you Y/N "
I smiled and waved to them.

I turn back to see Jimin brushing Firefly, and I was quite surprised.. not at the way he's brushing, but his character and attitude. It's completely changed. He looks calm and peaceful..
Without that stupid smirk, he looks... Beautiful.. Aish Y/N this is your first day here and you already have a crush. Great. I didn't even know I was staring at him for so long and his angelic voice snapped me into reality.

" Am I that ugly? " He says with a small smile on his face.
" U-uh ahaha no it's nothing "
Idiot.
" So have you raced before ? "
I shook my head. " Nope. I've always wanted to though.. "
" So where's your horse? You can't join without a horse you know. If you don't have one, you have to buy one from us."
" I have a horse. His name is Night. He's a mix between a Jeju horse and a Thoroughbred. He's in Seoul for now.. he'll probably be here in a week or so."

" Night.. so I'm guessing he's black? "
I nodded my head and smiled.
He hands me a brush and asks, "Wanna have a go? "
I scoffed and looked at the brush then him. " Weren't you the one that told me to stay away from your horse? "
" Nope. "
I roll my eyes and take the brush, not wanting to continue the lame argument.
I gently glide the brush over Firefly from his stomach upto his neck. Immediately, the horse grunted and shifted it's hooves.
" Tsk Tsk. Firefly doesn't like it that way. "

He puts his hand on top of mine that's holding the brush and glides it from Firefly's neck to his stomach. I gulp at the feeling of his hand on mine and I could feel my heart slamming against my rib cage. He then left my hand for me to continue.

Eager to break the awkward silence, I desperately tried to think of something to say..
" So.. uh.. where does your uncle live?"
" He lives in America. He usually buys horses from people in America and Korea and sends them to us. "
" Oh ok.. "
It was then that I realized that Lisa, Jungkook and Megs were nowhere to be seen. I noticed it getting dark outside and Eomma will be waiting for me.
" Uhm Jimin I have to go now.. I'll see you tomorrow! "
" Whatever.. "
Great.. he's back.

I walk out and see Lisa, Megs and Jungkook sitting in the stable next to ours with their ears pressed to the wall...
" What are you guys doing? "
They immediately jumped away from the wall, standing awkwardly.
" Nothing ! " They shout in unison.
Lisa walks forward towards me with a smirk. " Wellllll, we just wanted to give you two some privacy"
I furrowed my eyebrows. " What is that supposed to mean?"
Jungkook comes and places a hand on my shoulder saying " You know exactly what that means. " and shoots me a wink.

" AISH!! you guys are unbelievable!!! "
Megs says, " Oh come on!! He NEVER let's anyone brush his horse. NEVER. He treats the thing like treasure. "
I roll my eyes and say, " it was awkward and he probably said it out of desperation. "
" Y/N, Jimin isn't stupid, he doesn't blurt something out like that. You must be SpEcIaL " he emphasizes on the word " special " in a sing-song voice.
" YAH!! " I say and smack him multiple times while the rest of them giggle at the sight of jungkook crumbling under my strength. (Not really 😂)
Suddenly, I get a call from Eomma.
" Hello, eomma? Whats up? "

" Y/N PLEASE COME HOME NOW!!!! "
