A/N P.O.V:

Gigi, Megs, Jungkook and Tae strolled up to the large house and rang the doorbell. Holding the strap of his schoolbag, Jungkook groans and turns to Gigi.

"How long are we supposed to wait for those two sh-"

The door opens to reveal Hilda with her usual bright smile.
" Hello! Nice to see you back. "
Her smile fades as she notices Jungkook's grumpy face and smacks his shoulder.

" Yah, take that frown off your face. You're gonna get wrinkles! "
With a chuckle, the others enter the house and Tae asks Hilda,
" Um, where's Jimin? We're gonna be late for the academy.. "

" Ah.. Mr.Park is still sleeping and so is Ms. Kim. Mr. Park went through a rough patch last night so it's best if- "
Abruptly cutting her off, the whole group sprinted as the silent hallways echoed with the sound of thundering footsteps.

Stopping in front of Jimin's bedroom, Megs slowly turned to door handle and pushed it open, revealing two sleeping figures under the black blanket.

Putting her index finger to her lips to silence the others, Megs silently steps into the room and peeps into the bed.
With a large smile on her face, she gestures with her hand to allow them in.

There lay Jimin and Y/N cuddled up together. Jimin had no shirt on and Y/N had on a long t-shirt, just enough to reach her knees. Jimin's face rested in the crook of her neck with his hands tightly wrapped around her waist, while her legs wrapped around his and she rested her chin on the top of his head.

Y/N's pink underwear could be seen peeking out from under her shirt, and Gigi immediately pulled the blanket up to her waist and turned to the boys.

" You fricking perverts, avert your eyes!!! " She whisper yells and the boys turn around immediately, staring mindlessly at the wall.

" I can't believe they had sex already." Jungkook whispers, but loud enough for everyone to hear and receives a smack on the back of his head from Tae.

A few tear stains and slightly red noses were the only betrayers of the incident that happened the previous night. If not for that, one would think that this was a normal couple, hugging each other to sleep without a single worry in the world.

"I wonder what- "
Megs was cut off by a groan from the bed and everyone looked at each other with wide eyes.
" What the fuck do we do?! " Jungkook mouthed the words and Gigi whisper yells,
" Hide !! "

Tae and Jungkook opened Jimin's large closet and stood inside, carefully closing the door behind them while Gigi and Megs crawled under the bed. The bed was risen high enough for there to be sufficient space to hide under.

Jimin rubbed his eyes and slowly sat up, removing Y/N's legs from his waist carefully. His eyebrows furrowed at the open door and his gaze landed on sleeping Y/N.

Jimin P.O.V:

I sigh as I watch her chest rise and fall steadily, her tear stained cheeks and pink nose taking me back to the moment we shared last night.

*Flashback*

" I love you too. " I say, gathering up all my courage to say the three words I didn't know would hit me so hard in my life.

Her eyes widened in shock and disbelief as she sat up immediately.
"J-Jimin, you're sleep talking. Just- "
" I'm perfectly awake. "
I say, sitting up beside her.

" You... Uh I- ... I really don't know what to say.. "
She says as the urge to bury her face in her hands takes over her.
With a sniffle, I slowly take her hands and remove it from hiding her face, revealing streams of tears flowing down her cheeks.

It's like the outside world is a camera to her. When she comes in contact with it, she smiles and everybody sees the perfect picture in front, but once the camera is gone, she's the opposite of what she seems on the outside.

In that way, I can relate to her feelings. Her heart is weighed with guilt because she thinks she's not enough and that she hasn't done enough, from her father's abuse to her mother and her being unable to provide for her.

She thinks that everybody else's lives are perfect while she's the mannequin among the hoards of people filled with energy. She's clutching onto anything that has hope in her eyes, trying to keep herself afloat and not drown in the troubling waves of the world.

Well, that's where I come into the picture, right? That's where fate has placed us, that's where our parallel lives meet each other and that's where we will stay forever in this life and even in the next.

Bringing her into my embrace, I rock her slowly and whisper,
" I'm sorry I've tortured your mind for so long when I should have been the reason for its peace. I'm sorry for making you wait for my stone cold love, but I'm finally saying it. And this time I mean it.. I love you Kim Y/N and I want to stay by your side forever. Will you forgive me and take me back as your one and only? "

I feel her fingers wrap around the fabric of my shirt as she tugs upwards. I understand her signal and pulled my shirt upwards, throwing it onto the floor.

She wipes her tears and looks into my eyes. All I could see beyond the pools of tears was sorrow, but this time there was a hint of relief and silent hope. All she's ever done in life is hope, and I was an idiot to deprive her of it.

" Yes.. I forgive you even though you didn't need to ask me that ridiculous question. I've been waiting for this day because I hated myself for standing by and watching you destroy yourself while I could do nothing about it. It reminded me of the situation throughout my life with my mother, and I couldn't bear to see you going through the same thing. I love you Jimin, I always have. I was just waiting for you to see it. "

As though on cue, we lunged forward towards each other and our lips met, moving perfectly against one another. It's like her lips were made to be with mine, it felt like we were a match made in heaven in the center of this hellish world.

Slowly pulling away from the kiss, she rested her forehead on mine as we look into each others eyes. I stroked her cheek and wiped away a few tears with my thumb. Her hooded eyes indicated her tiredness and I gently pushed her so we were laying down.

Watching her drift into sleep, I realize that I was being pulled down by my guilt, thinking that I could have done something to prevent that horrible event from happening.

But now I realize that no matter how much you scream and cry, time waits for no one and fate has it's fixed destination. We just have to suck it up and continue down the path of life, because no matter what we do, life goes on.
